The winter soldier and the zombie captain run at each other as Bucky fires bullets as the captain blocks them with his shield!
"Huh?" The careful eyes of Melissa Shield and Mei Hatsume blinked as They caught that.
"What is it?" Shinso asks the two
"The bullets..."
"Yes? They bounced right-"
"They didn't bounce... They just dropped." Melissa says
"What?" Momo Yaoyorozo says out loud
"That shield cancelled the momentum of the bullets instantly!" Mei stands up "How?! No metal can do that!"
"I don't think it is that groundbreaking... Dave?" All Might turns to his friend who's jaw was dropped
"That type of metal can cancel all momentum at an instant, what else can it do? Can it absorb? Perhaps even store energy?"
"Indeed, it is a metal known to the multiverse Spider-Man partakes in known as Vibrainium." Madame Web tells them all "I would explain more but I will leave it to the multiverse, it will definitely show you the capabilities of Vibranium."
"Interesting..." Nezu scratches his chiny chin-chin.
"It's a fucking SHIELD. Who cares!" Shigaraki complains at the stopping of the zombie fight
They get to close-quarters combat as the Captain knocks away Bucky's gun, making the soldier engage in hand-to-hand combat, with Bucky throws several punches, blocks others and leaps back as the Captain tries to take a bite out of him
"You can definitely see both of them as soldiers with their careful fighting moves.." Aizawa studies Bucky and Zombie Cap's fighting style with the defensive shield and prioritizing the metal arm to attack.
Bucky manages to make some distance as He boots the Captain to edge of the car
"Getting some distance, that's good..." Midnight nods
Bucky then casually tosses away a reanimated Sharon who tries to take a bite of him
"Damn it! A hot one bites the dust!" Mineta cries.
Hope quickly enters the car to aid Bucky "Bucky!" She shrinks just in time to avoid a chomp by Sharon but ends up entering her mouth
"That was close..."
Seeing Hope had Sharon occupied, Bucky turns his attention to the Captain who throws his shield!
But Bucky was smart and catches the shield and throws it back at the zombie captain who is cut in half!
"DAMN!" Several of the people leaned back in their chairs at the sight of Zombie Cap getting caught in half
"Just some shield?" Dabi says smugly to his leader
"SHUT. UP!" He seethed
Unable to properly stand, Captain Rogers falls off, leaving his shield behind as He ragdolls on the tracks
Bucky walks to the shield and sadly says "Sorry Buddy... I guess this is the end of the line." before taking the shield himself.
"Huh? You think They know each other? That line sounds like They knew each other..." Nejire quickly says
"Perhaps They did... You saw on his face before They fought that He looked reluctant..." Amajiki mumbles
"That's so sad..."
Back to zombie Sharon, She turns to look at Bucky before her eyes widen
Then She explodes as Hope regrows inside her!
"What the fuck?!" Bakagou yells out loud, matching Kamikiri, Shigaraki, and Mineta's reactions
"I wasn't expecting that..." Momo winces as She watches Hope covered in blood and guts
The others manage to get to the final car as They see Hope covered in guts "Guys! I'm covered in Sharon!"
"Dark."
Okoye blankly looks at the room around them "I think the kid is carrying hand sanitizer."
Peter just looks like He was going to throw up
"Same Pete... Same..." Uraraka mumbles as She holds a full bag of her vomit.
Bruce and Kurt enter the final car and are shocked, but not by the room "Uh... Hope? I think You're in trouble."
Everyone then sees that Hope had a cut on her arm with zombie guts touching it
"Oh no..." Katsuma says in fear
"Hope..." Eri pouts
"She's gonna become one of them..." Midnight says solemnly
Away from the final car, Everyone minus Kurt surround Hope as Dr Banner tends to her "heartrates elevated... Temperatures... Not going in the right direction.." He says uneasily, confirming all of their suspicions. Hope was going to become a zombie.
Hope immediately says "Then you know what We have to do." Asking her friends to kill her before She turns
"At least She understands..." Jirou says quietly, kinda feeling the dread in the air.
"Shame... Just a shame..." Mineta says
Okoye whispers "No, not when We are so closed to a cure."
Hope does not listen "Can you really take that risk?"
"You have to, it is necessary to maintain the mission for the cure." David says pramatically
Aizawa frowns, hating a situation like this... Even after so long, He can't stand it...
Peter steps up "It's not a risk... It's hope." He smiles at her "And anyone who's seen a zombie movie knows that is the key to survival.. And it's even your name's it's got to count for something!"
A few chuckle at the words, and a few listened to his tone. It was shaky. It was like He wanted to convince himself as well as Hope.
All Might's eyes widened 'Can He really?..'
Hope smiles at Peter "Oh kid.. How do you do it?"
Peter looks confused "Watch all these movies? AV club Mostly.."
"AV?" Eri asks
"Audio-Video, like recordings and TV... would make sense since newspapers aren't used to often anymore." Melissa answers
"Thank you." She responds
Hope shakes her head "No.. No.. How do You stay so... Upbeat?" She looks herself a bit scared but not so much as Spider-Man was there "After everything?"
Peter was taken aback, his eyes darken and He honestly answers "Practice, I guess... "
A few were taken aback at the attitude shift with Peter, He lost a light in his eyes... He lost something.
All Might nods 'The happy go-lucky attitude was a facade...'
Peter counts down "My mom, dad, Uncle Ben, Ned, MJ, Mr Stark... Now Happy?" Peter's jaw tightened "I lost a lot..."
"When you put it like that..." Uraraka says, rubbing her hand through her hair, family and now friends
"Ned? Who's Ned?" Nejire asks
"Perhaps a friend He made in this world?... Not out of the realm of possibilities..." Amajiki whispers
"M...J... She didn't make it..." Mina blinks... She slumps forward and smashes her head into the seat in front of her. It made sense, She wasn't there... Didn't make the pill any less of a pain to swallow.
"That... rough." Todoroki says, despite his issues with his father, at least He had the rest of the family now to back down on along with the few friends He made in UA... This Parker doesn't have that luxury.
Peter perks up "But My Aunt May says!..." He trails off, returning to his melancholy "Used to say..."
If the company present didn't feel bad enough, That definitely threw them through a loop.
"That if We don't keep smiling when They can't, then We might as well be gone too and... " Peter wraps his hand around Hope's comfortably "Well They want us to keep going... And so I will. I will fight, I will smile... as Peter Parker and your friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man."
Many were shocked, many assumed that Peter was going to say the smiles were ONLY a coping mechanism, used to feign happiness. But that was not simply the case, He actually meant to be happy in these trying times. The smiles were in fact geniune, for the most part. and even then, He does not forget the past. He carries all that weight on his two shoulders proudly. He is their living legacy.
Aizawa looked at Parker, not as the immature child or even as one of his students, He looked at the one known as Peter Parker as his own person. He was loud, He was obnoxious, and He knew it... And He wanted it. He wanted to smile for those who no longer can. Laugh for them. And when it will be time to cry... He feels Parker will do that. But not until the people are safe.
Aizawa scratched his head 'I might... have gone too far with some criticisms...' He could let up.. just a little, nothing to crazy.
Bruce places a comforting hand on Peter's shoulder, offering his own smile. Hope also smiles, feeling comfort that Peter was here.
This makes Peter own smile return, because He did his duty as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Deku and Bakugou look at Peter in awe, He has his issues but He is able to overcome them to help others in need when They are in need of a hero. He is not perfect with a few of the jokes eariler were a bit tryhard but They could she the intention of Spider-Man... and perhaps the same could be said for the other iterations. The jokes weren't just for his benefit or the villains annoyance, They are meant to help others...
"Have no fear! For hope has arrived!"
They chuckled in their respective tones "Hero..."
Kurt announces his presence as the train slows down "Guys, uh.. Bad news team. The train has run out of fuel."
Bruve asks "How far away are We from Camp Lehigh?"
Kurt perks up "On the bright side, We're closer than we were before."
"That's good.. I think?" Kaminari looks around to the others who were similarly confused with Kurt's word choice.
"I think Mike would be disapproving of the wording..." Midnight says to Aizawa who shrugs
"And the not bright side?" Hope groans
Kurt face fell as He pointed outside "We're going to have to walk through... that.."
The team looks out and are shocked to see the entriety of the outside of the train were filled with zombies
Bucky flatly says "Looks like our draft cards have just got pulled..."
"Translation for others: We'd be fucked." kamikiri said while looking over the zombies
Okoye says "We will not make it through them.."
"But You can make it over them.." Hope says, getting of her seat
"Over?" Mt Lady blinks, was the Wasp capable of- Well, She could grow back to her original size after shrinking so it could be possible...
"What?" Midnight asked her Kouhai
"Nothing... Just wondering..."
Peter, horrified, knew what She was planning "No, Hope!"
"Listen to me.." She says, shutting him up "We all know my time is up, right?" She glares at the horde outside "And if I have to go, I might as well go out fixing the mess I started."
"She blames herself for causing the outbreak in the first place, which would be hard to dispute." Aizawa says
"She didn't mean to!" La Brava says
"Whether or not is not the point, what matters is that the apocalypse happened after the Pym's opened the portal to the quantum realm. And even if We wanted to absolve her of blame, it looks to be if SHE doesn't either condone her actions."
Bruce starts "Oh come on, Hope. It's not your fault."
Hope cuts him off "I was so obsessed with bringing my mom back that I never considered what I might bring back with her.." She strengthens her resolve "I started this, but You are gonna finish it." She looks right at Peter who was so lost and sad, but accepting of her choice
"And I was right..." Aizawa sighs, not really happy He was right in his assumption.
"Hope..." Eri quietly says, She too had a habit of blaming herself for things that happened around that causes inconveniences due to her life under Overhaul, only now getting better being with Deku and Lemillion, so She understood how hard it must be for Hope to take all that responsibility even if She was partially at fault. It still hurts to admit it...
Soon, the train explodes as Hope become the size of a building, her friends in her hands
"He... Knew it..." Mt Lady says unemotionally, knowing to get the others to safety, Hope would have to die.
She began to make her trek through the horde, casually kicking away the zombies as They tried to climb on her
Peter, inside Hope's hands, looks out into the horde and sees in the distance was Camp Lehigh
He looks further and views the sunset slowly coming down, himself on the brink of tears, knowing Hope's time was at an end.
The zombie had became numerous and managed to hold onto Hope's lower body, taken the occasional chomp
A few of the individuals in the room gripped their hands tight at the zombies that slowly killing Hope who is trying desperately to get her friends to safety
Finally, Hope reached the camp and let everyone down as the zombies got to her upper body
Frightened, She calls out "Peter."
His eyes widened as She calls him
The look in her eyes were calm, and He could see.. She was smiling behind her mask "Smile... Smile for Me, okay?"
"With the context of Peter words from before, this translates to... 'Remember me'?" Todoroki said aloud
"Oh..." Nejire pouted. She, along with a few others, felt sorry that She had to go through such a harrowing event
'I'm counting on you.. All Might.'
All Might blinked, remembering the final words spoken by his master when He was taken out of her final battle with All For One. Her pleas for him to survive to carry on her legacy... to carry on her hopes and dreams...
He clenched his fist tightly and breathed heavily, He has not finished his journey yet until He sees Young Midoriya rise to the occasion... and hopefully get her grandchild back home.
Then the zombies finally reached her head as one zombie begins smashing her glass visor and biting the bridge of her nose.
Ibarra brought her hands together and prayed as hard as She cold that Hope's sacrifice would be repaid in full in heaven. She made a truly heroic sacrifice for the good of others... and that is something to remember forever..
Finally, after much fighting, Hope Van Dyne, Hero Name: The Wasp.. fell over and died.
The survivors bow their heads in respect to the person who got them there.
Many members in the room bowed their own heads in respect to the Wasp.
A few, like Shigaraki, did not however and merely scoffed as He watched the heroine fall. He truly did not care.
After the moment, Bucky noticed something "Uh guys?.. Why aren't they climbing the fence?" They all see the zombies make no effort to even touch the fence
"Huh?" After the moment of silence, many lift their heads to see the zombies... just standing outside of the fence, no attempts to climb the metal fence
"Why.. aren't they moving?" Twice looks at Toga
"I.. don't know, they are in smelling range and They made an effort to attack Hope but know?.. I seriously don't know..." She was at a loss, what is going on? Is their some kind of zombie repellent?
Peter looks around to his shock that there was a hole in the fence but the zombies were still stuck in place "They don't have to climb or anything..."
"They don't have to climb... then what is stopping them?" Shoji ponders as He looks at the fence and how the zombies were just... standing there.
The group all decide to enter the camp to get away from the zombies, unsure of whether or not They will attack as Kurt says "We must be careful... Baba Yaga nears... I can feel her presence.." He shivers
"Baba-Lua?" Kaminari raises an eyebrow
"I should hit you for that... but I honestly don't know what He said either.." Jirou stares at the electric idiot impassively
"Baba Who now?" Bruce says confused
"Baba Yaga.. The Witch" Kurt says dramatically "Known to lurk in shadows of sacred burial grounds.."
"Sounds creepy.."
"I like it!" Toga smiles
"Of course you would.." Shigaraki frumps
A hand then touches Kurt's shoulder! "Baba Yaga!"
"Ba-ba-ba- Balua Ba da BA -Guh?!"
"I warned you..." Jirou said as Kaminari kneeled over in pain after She punched him in the gut after He tried to scat.
It was revealed to be Spider-Man, just playing a joke "Oh no, I totally jump-scared you man."
Kurt rolls his eyes in annoyance as He tells off Spider-Man... who has a hand touch his shoulder!
"A Zombie?!" A few of the meeker occupants yell
They jump just to be met with a red-skinned man in a cape flying next to them
"Huh?.. Who's that guy?" Mei says, feeling a bit out of her element with all the emotional junk for the last few minutes
"I don't know... Perhaps They will explain?" Shinso replies to her quickly
Brucd walks over and gives the person a hug "Oh Vision! You have no idea how good it is to see a familiar and not one of those gross half-eaten faces!"
"His name is... Vision? Okay." Deku writes a new profile for The Vision
Vision nods "One of the benefits of being an android, I am not on the menu."
"Hold up- Android?!" Mei says excitedly
"Huh.. I thought We had robots now?" Kaminari scratches his
"Not like him! He is completely able to operate without needing commands or creator imput, it's almost as if He has free will!" She smirks "Nobody in our world is capable of that!"
David shield felt a distinct attack on his pride fro being unable to perfect any artificial intelligence. He's trying damn it!
Bruce looks to Vision's face and more specifically the glowing stone in his forehead "That's it!"
"Shiny..." Mahoro gasps
"That's it? What is it?" bakugou asks out loud, confused about the gem
Vision leads the group into his laboratory "The mind stone, the source of well... Me!" He walks to a computer and brings up some statistics "It emits a sub-frequency that is not to their liking."
"The mind stone?" Deku writes, a bit confused "What is the mind stone?"
Madame Web decides to act "The mind stone is one of the six infinity stones. The other's being Space, Time, Power, Soul and reality and are conduits to rewrite humanity in one's image." She smiles "You can bend reality, change time and even control death itself."
"Seriously?!" many gasp at the power of the stones
"They are all scattered and are in a almost in a constant struggle for people to collect in various marvel universes, though They are often under protection and kept far away from use to protect what is left of natural order."
"That's.. good I suppose, so The Vision is entrusted with the Mind Stone?" Iida asks
"Yes, it allows the Vision to power his artificial body and makes him one of the strongest avengers."
"So the stone is in the hands of the good guys? Lame..." Shigaraki was bored again
"And it is able to give off a sub frequency that pushes back the zombies... Interesting.." Nezu smiles while the rest of the room were more focused on the stones in general.
Bruce hypothesizes "Could that mean the infection is some sort of encephalopathy?"
"A what?"
"A brain disease... a rather extreme one on the count of the rotting flesh and all." David says quickly
Toga scratches her head, confused "While most media says you're stuck a zombie when it happens, I guess the rules are different when you have a magic rock that can change history."
Kurt raises his hand to ask a question, but Peter answers "Brain stuff."
"Precisely!" Vision confirms "The virus overloads the brain's neural system, So once I discovered the infecteds' aversion to the mind stone. I experimented to see if targeted exposure might reverse their condition."
Okoye asks "Were you successful?"
"Ta-Da! See for yourself!" A new but familiar voice calls out, scaring the survivors who don't know where the voice came from
Many in the room blink "Um... Did I just hear what I thought I did?" Midnight blinked
"It's not possible... He was one of the first attacked..." Gentle drops his cup of tea
Nezu smiles "Interesting.."
The voice swears "Damnit, messed up my entrance, can someone turn me around so I can work to get automated?" Vision walks up and turns a seat around to reveal the bodyless head of Scott Lang in a jar! "Ta-Da!"
"...WHAT THE FUCK?!"
"His head is in a jar?!" Uraraka screamed out loud
"How?! What?!" Melissa's brain went into overdrive when She saw Scott Lang's human persona attached to his zombie head, fully cured except for the fact He was just a head!
"Is He able to eat? How does this work? Can He poop? Can-" Nejire fired rapid-fire questions to her friends as Amajiki laid back after fainting
Kurt was elated at first but realized He was only a head "Scott!... Scott..."
Bucky was just confused "Lang?"
Spidey just said "No... Way..." at a loss for words
"They can't believe it either!" Mina yells
They were at a loss for words on how to go about this but Scott took it in stride "Before you ask, yes I lost weight, thanks for noticing, but don't worry, I won't let it go to my head!" He quipped to the stunned faces of everyone there "Sorry, I tend to process dramatic events with Dad-Jokes, it really drives Hank crazy... Or DROVE Hank crazy... Oh man, Hank.." He looked sad
"Oh... Poor Scotty."
"You're sympathizing with a hand in a jar!" Shigaraki yells at Toga who nods
"That I am... That I am."
Okoye calmly taps the glass "Tula, Tula, don't cry... You'll fog up your jar."
"I know, I know, It's just what I wouldn't give to be chewed out by that old grump one more time-Ha! Did it again! Zombie pun..." He soon lost enthusiasm
"Hmp..." Aizawa just sits their tight lipped as He watches Scott behave just as He did in life. These infinity stones doing some work.
Vision Similarly 'Hmp's as He addresses the group "Fact of the matter is, I cured him."
"Then you could cure others!" Spider-Man states
"Yay!" A few of the children cheered
"Theoretically but-"
"We need access to a satellite network to broadcast the mind stone's frequency worldwide!" Bruce cuts him off
"You would need a great big to cover the plant for this plan to work." Momo says
"I don't think we have one powerful enough to cover the world..."
Vision was a little nervous with the reception to the plan "Well, again Theoretically but the technology required to do so is currently beyond human capability."
Okoye jumps in quickly "Not in Wakanda. and thanks to our force shields, it remains the last human sanctuary on earth." She says, inspiring hope in the rest of the heroes.
"But it looks like We got a shot!" Melissa smiles, happy the zombie menace could be at an end at last,
Bucky nodding to Okoye's words "I'll canvas the base, see if I can find us transport."
He exits the room as Vision tries to call him back "Sergeant Barnes, you will not find.. what you are looking for." He says ominously
While many cheered, a few noticed Vision's... warning.
"Not find what-Huh?" La Brava blinks
"He's hiding something..." Aizawa focuses on
"Definitely... but what?" Spinner posits the question
"Bet it's something stupid... He 's a hero, it wouldn't be cool..." Shigaraki groans
Bucky searches the dark abandoned rooms of Camp Lehigh to find any way to leave, but continuously finds nothing but flipped tables and messy floors.. and a bloodstain curtain
A few others look at the screen with interest "Well that is interesting... and ominous..." Gentle says, feeling more on edge
Back with the others, Peter is seen resting on a rolling chair as Dr Banner investigates a computer, looking a bit lost "Uh... According to these security logs, We're not the first to respond to Vision's signal..."
Peter is surprised with a little joy "More survivors!... Where... Are they?" He looks around, not seeing anyone else there aside from his group, Vision and Scott. The base looked pretty empty... So where are the people?
"Could They have just responded and not got there yet?" Uraraka says to help out Vision
"Perhaps..." Melissa says, not at all sure that is the case
Vision casts a look at the two scientists with an ominous look
"Okay, what the hell is Vision doing?" Sen says "And where are those people?"
"I... might have an idea." Toga says, having an answer
"What do you think Bestie?" Twice asks
"They could have been... sacrifices..."
"What?"
"I mean... it is a trope to keep humans around to eat them yourselves in zombie movies..."
"Vision is an android! Who He would be feeding!"
Hety! It's just a guess and-"
Bucky gets closer to the curtain and finds something peculiar, clothing. Random clothing on the ground?
"I think I might on the money..."
Panicked, Bucky looks around the room to see what this could mean... as a figure is seen looming in the darkness.
Many eyes widen as they see the figure behind Bucky
Bucky feels its presence and quickly shoots at the person there but hits protective glass?
He sees behind the glass was a zombie of a woman that glowed a red energy.
While many were confused about the glass protection, more and more dots started to come togther
"Who the fuck is that?!" Bakugou yells
"A zombie.. in the facility?!" Momo gasps "But the stone was supposed to keep out any zombies..."
"M-Maybe it is one of the test subjects?... Vision couldn't have just decided to use one zombie to work on the cure.. maybe She was an extra while He focused on Scott?"
"Something is not lining up..." Iida said, not liking the situation in the slightest "If Vision could cure the zombies, why didn' He warn Bucky not to attack wildly in the facility or that He had other zombies on standby or even about what happened to the other people..
Bucky stared at the zombie for a moment before a voice speaks out "Stop... You will anger her..."
Many blinked "Who said that?" Katsuma shivers in his seat
Bucky runs to the voice and sees a man on a table... without a leg.
The man, african in appearance, groans in pain "Bucky?..."
"Holy shit!" Pixie-Bob screams
"He has no leg!" Nejire screams
"It's the black Panther!" Deku says, also freaking out
"What?" Uraraka turns to Deku
"His costume is the same as the one used by Black Panther in the intro! That is the Black Panther!"
"How the hell did He get from San Francisco to New Jersey?! There on different timezones!" Mt Lady yells
"I think that is something We have to ask the Vision.." Nezu says, curious on the explanation but remaining calm
Bucky was shocked "T'CHALLA?!" He runs over to his side "What happened? Who did this to you?"
"Black Panther is known as T'Challa and He sees to have some history with Bucky..." Nezu says as Deku writes that down
"I just want to know what happened to his leg..."
He groans "Quick.. We do not have much time..." Bucky helps T'Challa limp away as Zombie Scarlet Witch watches from afar... Her glass prison slowly cracking
"That... That is not good..." Ibarra grips her hands together to try and pray that the team would be able to get away
We return to Peter and Bruce who looked hauntedly at Vision who speaks "I'm sorry, Dr. Banner. I really do wish you hadn't found us."
"All right Metal man! Fess up! The hell is going on?" Bakugou yells at the screen
Bruce gulps "Vision, what the hell is this place?"
T'Challa answers as He and Bucky enter the room with a crutch keeping him steady "A trap."
Many cringe at the sight of the weakened king of Wakanda force to use a crutch to keep himself steady
Okoye rushes to his side and takes T'challa from Bucky who aims at Vision with his gun as She speaks wakandan "Oh, we feared you were dead!"
T'Challa glares at the android "The Vision grabbed me in San Francisco. Thought he was saving me. He was just picking up takeout." He spat in disgust as everyone stares at Vision in shock
"Huh, I was right!" Toga smirks I got it right! Suck it " She ticks her tongue out at the heroes who were shocked
"But... The Vision is supposed to be a hero... but He killed so many people to feed that.. that monster!"
"Ha! It seems the guardian of the mind stone can't be trusted after all!" Shigaraki laughs, loving the twist, He wasn't expecting it but He was certainly living it up
Bucky confirms their worst suspicions "He's been keeping him alive to feed his zombie bride."
Scott, in his jar, realizes as well "That goth chick. I knew it! I was pickin' up vibes."
He killed so many people... for love?!" La Brava, Mina and Toru all felt sick to their stomachs
"Love, Heh, sucks." Shigaraki laughed
Vision corrects him "Her name is Wanda. And while your anger is predictable, I can assure you my actions, though unsavory, were nevertheless born of logic."
"THIS... is why fully developed Ai is a bad idea... 2001 a space odessy proved that it would kill us all." Toga says
Mei would normally try and defend Vision but... This was really inexcusable...Right now, Vision is a bad... BAD baby...
Scott tries "Well, in Vision's defense..." He clicks tongue "I've got nothing."
Peter tries to understand as well "Okay, wait, I don't get it. You cured the talking head but not her?"
"Y-Yeah! You said You had the cure! Why is She still a zombie if You love her so much?!"
Vision reveals why He simply couldn't heal Wanda "Her powers are too strong, They come from the stone itself and They have evolved since then.. They've even managed to resist the treatment. The only course of action is to contain her and her hunger."

"As horrible as i sounds, why not eliminate Wanda? She is too much of a risk to keep alive if what the Vision says about her powers is true..." All Might mumbles
Okoye fires back "Why not eliminate her?"
Vision looks uncomfortable "I... I couldn't. "
Bruce summarizes everything They learned from the last five minutes "You lured innocent people to their deaths, all in the name of love?
Scott scoffs "Love. Sucks."
Shigaraki laughs, okay, He may hate heroes but this Scott Lang was kinda funny
Vision tries to explain "I still cannot entirely fathom what I have done-"
But Okoye cuts him off as She points her spear "So you should have no problem submitting to human justice!" when suddenly a loud voice shocks them all
"She's here..." Toga ominously says
Vision says solemnly as They as their worst fears were confirmed "You have awakened her... She hasn't eaten in days."
The noises get louder and louder until a door flies open before Kurt as He is bathed in red light as He sees Wanda looking at him, He whimpers "Baba Yaga!" He is pulled by Wanda's psychic powers and is heard screaming as He is killed immediately
"Oh no, Kurt!" Uraraka yells
"Man down! Man down!" Kaminari yells
"And so it begins..." Deku cringed, knowing that many of the heroes are going to be eaten by the Scarlet Witch
Scott calls out "Whoa! Watch out! She's a man-eater! There it is, I'm doing it again."
"Not the time Lang!" Aizawa says, the heroes had to leave now or else They will be killed.
Wanda enters the room flying, looking very scary and imposing. Bucky fires his gun but it is useless as Wanda lifts a door with her powers to block the shots.
"Okay, it seems the Scarlet Witch has some form of telekinesis" Deku writes down.
"These guys are so fucked." Sero twitches
She throws the door at Bucky who dodges it but then it bumps into Scott's chair and threatens to knock him over...
"Scott!" The children yell
"Head in the jar!" Nejire yells
When the cloak of levitation comes in for the save, catching Scott and allowing a way to escape for the head "Whoa! Ah, thanks. I feel like I'm back at prom."
"Okay, funny, but still not the time Scott." Midnight says
"Aww.. I still prefer Petey to have the cape..."
Spider-Man uses his webs to trap Wanda who snarls in anger as Bruce confronts Vision "Vision, we need your help. Get us out of here."
Go Spidey!" A few of the students yell
"Can it hold?" Mahoro asks
"If it can, not for too long." Bakugou says "The webs are the equivalent of steel cables but We just saw Zombie bitch-witch ripped through that door like it was paper..."
The android turns back to see Wanda fighting all of the survivors with her undead face Shrieking, He sighs "Yes, Doctor, I believe you are right." He blasts a hole trough a wall as everyone moves to safety Scott comedically flying while quoting "Wingardium leviosa!"
"Jail break!" Toga and Twice yell
Everyone almost makes it clear until Okoye is trapped in Wanda's field, T'Challa looks back to see his general captured "Okoye... Okoye!"
With a solemn nod, She accepts her fate "My king. Wakanda forever." She gasps as She pulled towards Wanda
'Another one bites the dust..." Shigaraki smiles
"Aw Damn it! Now it's a sausage fest!" Mineta cried, getting a smack on the head from Sero
"Dude, not the time..."
Vision, using this as distraction, fires his blast around the building Wanda was in to cave her in "We haven't much time. There's a Quadjet in the hangar." He points to a nearby hanger
"Y'know? If Vision wanted to keep Wanda a secret, He could have told Bucky about that jet so He couldn't have explored and found her or T'Challa.." David whispers
"Huh... that is an oversight.." Nezu says "Perhaps that is the limits of A.I..."
Bruce asks him confused "You're not coming?"
Vision sighs "I must atone for what I have done. But I cannot bring myself to leave her." He then grabs the mind stone from his head and with great effort, rips the stone out, killing him with Bruce picking up the stone
"Um... wasn't expecting that..." Kaminari says as Everyone else is shocked that Vision just killed himself
"He would have rather died than leave her side..." Mina said slowly "Which would be more romantic without the whole... murder thing."
"Speak for yourself." Toga says
However, with Vision dead, The mind Stone's field of power is no longer in place... The zombies were getting in!
"Oh shit!" all Might screeches
"Make a run for it!" Ragdoll yells
Then, if it weren't bad enough, Wanda breaks from her prison is seen very angry
"And it keeps getting worse!" Setsuna yells
Bucky reloads his gun and aims it at Wanda "Bucky!" Bruce yells as the winter soldier steps forward to the zombie witch
Bucky gives a side-glance and utters a single command "Run."
"Oh no, Bucky..." Eri pouted
"He's buying them time to escape..." Mirio frowned, Bucky was going out like.. a true hero..
Wanda whimpers as She floats down as She sees Vision's lifeless corpse on the ground
"Huh?.. Is She being sentimental?" Kinoko asks
"Guess there is some humanity left... not enough to quell their hunger though..." Kendo says, kinda interested if these Marvel Zombies could even feel regret eventually.. Nah that's just crazy talk.
Madame Web then pursed her lips 'Might want to consider regaling the tale of Zombie Spider-Man... A thought for another time.'
Bucky proceeds to start shooting at Wanda to get her attention away from the others but She uses her powers to lift the soldier up and throw him into the horde.
A few of the audience offered salutes to the winter soldier who fell in combat, Deku reviews the party list He created at the start of this, nearly everyone on it was gone, the only ones left from that original group were Bruce and Peter...
She catches sight of the others as Banner pushes open the doors to make it clear for the jet to exit. Wanda rushes over and bites Bruce's skin!
While many gasp, Shigaraki smiles "And another one bites the-"
But Bruce sees his arm was green and Wanda's infected teeth could not penetrate his flesh!
He blinks, then He snarls "WHat the hell?!"
A few look back at the screen to see Bruce wasn't getting bit, and a few noticed Bruce's skin! "It's Mr Hulk!"
"Yes Eri!" Mirio smiles that Bruce was able to survive the bite of the zombie Scarlet Witch. Maybe now They have a chance!
"So it seems that reinforced skin can withstand the zombie saliva... I guess that means both Kirishima and Tetsutetsu re safe if They utilize their quirks effectively." Momo ponders
"Ah yeah, manly men surviving the apocalypse together!" Tetsutetsu smirks
With some effort, Bruce yells ,throwing off the witch a distance away. He looks at his not bitten flesh with a smile "Oh, nice save, big guy."
Inside the cockpit, T'Challa begins to activate the Quadjet "Do you think you can fly this?" Peter asks
T'Challa replies back "If it ever boots up!" He raged against the slow bootup
"Gah! I hate this trope, the car that just does not want to turn on'! Just for needless drama!" Toga yells
Scott, flying by, tells the two "Uh, guys, impending doom on our six."
Peter corrects him "Uh, that's our 12. But yes, what the head said. Doom, total doom."
"Six... twelve?" Eri tilts her head
"Oh! It means the line of sight, twelve being right in front of you and every other number taking the other spots." Mirio supplies
"Oh..."
Bruce, on the entrance of the Quadjet, decides to sacrifice himself to other's shock "I can buy you guys some time..."
"No Bruce!" a few yell
"Sad as it might be, it seems it might the only way for the stone to get to the safe zone to end the menace.." Kurogiri says, feeling a certain unexplainable way at the sacrifice of Doctor Banner
"But still..."
Deku reviewed his notes on the survivors and crossing out their names as They died, and He had kept his notes up to date as the viewing went along. Barring the two new arrivals from Camp Lehigh, the people this version of Peter parker had come to know and care for are..
Peter is the only one to plead to Dr Banner to reconsider "Dr. Banner, no, we are not leaving you." His eyes shake, revealing under all off the cocky jokes and oneliners, was a scared boy "I just... I... I really, I don't think I can lose another friend today." He mumbles loud enough for only those in the jet can hear
They had seen him overcome the odds, overcome the fears.. but this proves that no matter how strong He could appear... Peter Parker is still just a teen, just like most of them in the room. And He is hurtig.
"Peter Parker is still a kid.." Deku looks at the list He compiled, barring the two new arrivals He hadn't had time to connect to. All the ones He did have time to get to know and care for... are all gone. Everyone He cares for are gone. "And everyone He knows is gone..."
"Every.."
"Last..."
"One.."
Aizawa looks at the boy who can barely hold it together, The boy who tries to smile in darkest times,
"He is slowly breaking..."
Bruce places a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder and hands him the mind stone with a smile "So... avenge us."
"But He isn't out yet." He says, as everyone perks up
Peter looks at the stone in shock, biting his lip... before smiling once more "Yeah." He says, taking the stone as Banner leaves, smile falling for a second before returning as He looks into the horizon
'That is his strength. To find the light in the darkness and show his proud smile... I guess there is a purpose to that idiot's shining light...' Aizawa nods to the young hero. He may not be on board with it, but He can very well respect it.
Banner leaves the hanger and approaches the zombies "Okay, big guy. Kinda counting on you here."
"Ah yeah! Tike for Hulk to lay the smackdown on these zombies!" Tetsutetsu smirks
He picks up the pace, but does not feel the change yet "Things are pretty bad. It'd be nice for you to be the hero..."
"Um... Hes still Bruce and They are getting closer..." Uraraka mentions, feeling a bit unease.
Banner finally begins tackling the zombies without the Hulk's aid, much to his annoyance "I MEAN, WOULDN'T IT BE KINDA COOL TO BE THE NICE ONE FOR A CHANGE?!" As He is buried under hundreds of zombies
"Change damn it! You are seriously going to die if you don't!" A few yell at the stubborn hulk.
The engines finally come to life "Oh, yes!" T'Challa smiles
"Finally some good news!" Melissa says to everyones relief.
Toga began counting on her fingers slowly
And they die with T'Challa rebooting the systems once again "Oh, no, no, no, no."
""Yup, engines dying when we need them' Another trope." She says nonchalantly as everyone's face falls
Hundreds upon hundreds of Zombies begin to dogpile Bruce until They are all sent flying as the Hulk returns! Smashing zombie brains like it ain't no thing!
With the Hulk FINALLY entering the battlefield, many spirits begin to rise again as He began to fight the horde.
"Finally! Kick some ass!" Bakugou yells
He roars as Zombie Wanda pushes away to engage Hulk and They begin to fight
"Holy moley this is epic..." Ragdoll comments
Finally the jet come to life, frying some zombies behind it as the survivors escape Camp Lehigh with Hulk battling zombie Wanda
Many bow their heads in respect at Hulk's sacrifice to get Scott, Tchalla and Peter to escape to Wakanda
In the jet, Scott celebrates "We did it! We really did it!"
Toga's eyes widened "Uh oh..."
"What's the issue now? They are out of zombieland so-"
Peter, in horror, snaps "No, don't jinx it!" He groans loudly "Doesn't anybody here watch horror movies?!"
Their fears were realized as Hope finally reanimates as a zombie to Scott's shock "Hope? Hope!" HE sees into her undead eyes and confirms that the woman He loved.. was dead "Oh! Hope!"
"THAT!" Toga yells
"Right... forgot She didn't shrink afterward..." My Lady scratches her head
Then Zombie Wasp grabs onto the jet and holds it in place
"Oh no! If they don't get free right now, they are done for!"
T'Challa turns up the heat "Firing thrusters!" Then the extra thrusters turned on, burning Wasp's hand and freeing them from her grasp, with Scott looking back, heartbroken
"Poor Scotty..." A few of the girls cooed softly to the disembodied head
"How... how does a head get so much game..." Mineta gasps
At a distance, Zombie Wasp throws a random zombie at the jet, not doing any damage but leaves a funny splat on the wing of the jet
A few of the more macabre attendants chuckle at the dark humor
Scott continues to look at Hope until She fades into the distance, Peter comes to his side and offers a word "I'm sorry. She gave her life so we could get the cure."
Scott smiles "That's twice she saved me. That's... very Hope." Peter smiles back, yeah, Hope was awesome
And Peter continues to prove he is a very good boy." Midnight coo's as well.
Aizawa rolls his eyes "Underage..."
"I know that!"
A while later, T'challa says after looking at his computer "ETA, 20 minutes."
"Eta?"
"Pretty much how much time until They get to where are supposed to be."
Scott smiles "Well, put another "W" on the board for the Avengers." The other two make no motion to do anything "Go ahead, high-five. It's okay, I won't feel left out." He makes a bad joke to lift the spirits of the other two
"Okay, now that is a good one." All Might chuckles
T'Challa sees Peter was out of it again and asks "You all right?"
Peter sighs, revealing what was on his mind "Last year, Mr. Stark asked me to join the Avengers. I turned him down, and now they're all gone. And I'm still here..."
Deku looks to his paper on the survivors from the beginning of the episode until now, crossing out those who passed. Only Peter has remained alive.
T'Challa offers his country's wisdom "In my culture, death is not the end. They are still with us, as long as we do not forget them." He sagely says
"Wise words." Nezu nods with a smile
"Indeed..." All Might nods, memories of his master floating in his head
Scott also says "Plus, they're not all gone." Peter looks at him in confusion "Me. You still have me."
Peter blinks, before smiling once again, light back in his eyes "Oh! I'm so sor... I-I forgot. You are an Avenger." He smiles a lot more naturally this time, a genuine smile
"That's my Petey, you still got friends!" Mina smiles as Peter realizes He wasn't alone yet.
Scott blushes in his jar "Totally. Big time. Well, maybe not officially. But, you know, at heart." He admits that He wasn't really an official avenger but an honorary one like him, which at this point makes them all avengers
"They are earth's last hope, so I guess they arent picky on who's an avenger at this point." Momo says
"Kinda dark when you think about it..." Setsuna mumbles
T'Challa laughs "Good. The world could use a little heart right now." accepting his position of Avenger by default
"Woohoo! By default!" Toga and Twice yell into the air
Peter stands up and looks into the horizon 'with a proud smile, lifting the mind stone to make it look like it was the horizon "And once we get this to Wakanda, we're gonna save the world!" They all fly into the horizon towards Wakanda
Many smile as The Avengers fly off into the distance.
"If what They say about Wakanda is true, then the technology to save the planet should be nice and secured." David Shield says
"Pretty smooth sailing." Mt Lady reclines in her seat
Aizawa blinks, is it really that easy?
The Watcher speaks again "Even in the darkest of times, humans will give all to save their planet..." He says as everyone sees Zombies clawing at a barrier..
While many smiled at the words, a few noticed the tone of the watcher which wasnt entirely uplifting.
"Why do I feel a 'But' is coming..." Kaminari mumbles
"Even if it might bring an end to the universe." The camera pulls into the where the zombies were at to reveal... They weren't outside, They were inside the barrier.
Deku's eyes widened "No..."
Bakugou's jaw dropped "That's... impossible..."
Soon enough was it revealed that the mad titan himself was in Wakanda... ZOMBIFIED! with several of the infinity stones in his gauntlet!
Screen fades to black
"FUCK!" A majority yell at the top of their lungs
"How?! I thought Wakanda's defenses from enemies were impenetrable!" Mei yells
"Perhaps for living beings..." David theorizes "Those energy shields could very keep out all living foes with the comprised energy... but the undead have no concepts of pain receptors and could've overwhelm the shields allowing a few to slip in..."
"Huh?" A few of the slower students state confused
"They kept throwing their guys at the shields until the shields couldn't take much more allowing a few to slip in and infect the others inside... Right Papa?" Melissa asks concerned
"Yes... and all it takes is one person getting infected..."
"To get the rest..." Dabi completes the train of thought. "So after all that Parker has lost on the path of a cure, He cant even heal the World?"
"He...Hehe...AHAHAHA!" Everyone turns to Shigaraki who was laughing like a maniac "So after everything, Parker loses! How rich!"
Many looked down in frustration, after everything... was it all for naught?
"Well, I wouldn't say that." Web says, causing everyone's head to snap back
"What?" Shigaraki seethed "Wakanda has fallen!"
"Indeed... but there is another way."
"How?!"
'Another way?' Deku thought, how can their be another way? Without Wakanda's technology, the mind stone cannot-
His eyes widened. The stone... the infinity stones! but how- He gasps "The infinity gauntlet!"
This made the others snap to him "The what?"
"The metal arm Thanos had at the end! It has all of the infinity stones minus the soul stone!"
Their eyes all widen at the revelation
"Reality can be..." David gasps
"Whatever the user wants..." Aizawa nods, Huh... that was actually clever
"Gah!" Shigaraki growls, even He gets a victory, that punk kid had to ruin it!
"But can Petey even get the glove thingy? That Thanos guy is huge!" Hakagure asks
"Hmm... Lets us see for ourselves, I shall fast forward this reality a smidge, we are on a schedule after all... behold!" Web fast forwards this reality
Peter puts on the gauntlet with a deceased Thanos on the ground near him as He was surrounded by zombies. He sighs "Reality.. can be whatever I want? Right?"
"He's got it!" The children say happily
"Where's Black Panther and Scotty?" Nejire asks, making them all confused
"My money is that They died..." Shigaraki says, annoyed at Spider-Man's happines, annoying a few of the others for him being such a downer.
"Anyway...Now all He has to do is use the gauntlet..." Endeavor says, feeling a bit of unease. Can it be so easy?
With reluctance, Peter places the last infinity stone gauntlet, unleashing it's full power as the cosmic energy began to eat away at his arm with horrific detail "AAAAAHHHHH!"
Many wre shocked at the sight of the gauntlet killing Peter
"What is happening?!" Uraraka gasps
"It's the stones... the combined power of the stones!" Iida gasps as well
"All of that power being used at once... how does one truly control infinity?..." Tokoyami shields his eyes from the blinding light, he could feel dark shadow from within him also being replused by the light... to only imagine if He had to experience that much power...
"To use the full power of the stones, the user has to kill himself?!"
"Only beings of great strength and regeneration can survive using the stones... And while Peter has those... I don't think They'll be enough... He is going to die..."
Peter gathers his strength as the horde approaches him, ready to kill him... He breathes "Come on... Spider-Man... Come on!"
"He cant let go now... He has to make his wish!" kinoko yells
"If the thing doesn't kill him first!" Monoma winces at seeing the exposed muscle tissue of Parkers arm as He tries to control the power
"Move faster damn you!" Shigaraki yells, not to Parker but to the zombies
Peter smiles, energy flaring everywhere "Watch out... HERE COMES THE SPIDER-MAN!" He snaps his fingers and the universe explodes in light
The attendants all cover their eyes at the bright light.. well most, Twice didn't get the memo at was partially blind screaming "My eyes!"
"What's... happening..." Momo gasps
Reality returns to when Hope Van Dyne and Scott Lang watch as Hank's shuttle returns from the quantum realm with unease.. atleast on Hope's side. Scott was waving hello to the occupants "Hi, Miss Van Dyne!"
Many eyes widened as they recognize the room. This was the Pym's lab from the beginning of the pandemic!
"It can't... how..."
Deku began to think, what could this mean... What was Peter's wish-
"Hehe... of course..." He looked to his mentor, All Might, who was chucklnmg softly
"Huh?"
All Might sighs "Young Parker did not forget..."
The door opens... to reveal a healthy Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, smiling at their daughter. The three share an embrace
Many eyes widened at this, Janet Van Dyne was cured! No... She was never infected in the first place!
"He save the world... by giving Hope her happy ending?" Pony blinks
"He... didn't forget how the zombies arrived, so He knew where to clip the universe to fix it." Endeavor nodded, pleased Zombie Hunter Spider-Man knew where to change the timeline.
"Even when going through so much pain... He made sure to keep her smile." All Might smiles
Elsewhere on the other side of the world, Peter Parker groans, rubbing his head. A boy around Peter's age looks at him in worry "Peter? You okay?"
Many were shocked to see Peter so soon, before the events of the zombie timeline.
"Who's that guy?" Nejire asks, pointing at the boy.
Deku flips through his notes on Zombie Hunter Spider-Man "Um... I believe this is the Ned He talked about earlier, since He isn't someone we know from the other universe's."
"Yeah, Ned... I just had a migraine... Y'know? Maybe I shouldn't stay up all night to watch horror movies..." They walk down a hallway to their next class
"Yeah, when are zombie movies gonna come in handy?" Ned laughs
Peter slowly laughs as well "Haha! Yeah..." Peter looks off to the side, half his form looking like Zombie Hunter Spider-Man "When will they?..."
"Huh? Is Zombie Hunter now inside Old Peter's head or did He take over?" Uraraka asks
"I... don't have a solid answer for that?" Deku said, overlooking his notes "I'll play devil's advocate and say... kinda?"
"Bullshit! I was promised the end of a universe!" Shigaraki yells
"Well Tomura Shigaraki, the timeline Peter Parker once inhabited was indeed erased... perhaps that's what They meant?" Kurogiri offers
"Copout, I call cop out!" He pouts while many roll their eyes. This was the eventual big bad?
"Well I enjoyed the experience." All Might says "It continues to show Young Parker as one of immense perseverance and the importance of a friendly persona..."
"I... agree." Aizawa admits
"Shouta?" Midnight gasps
"While we overdo it here, The fact that Parker isn't milking his celebrity for fame and instead striving to help the downtrodden is something I can respect... Even if annoys me at times." He shrugs "I'll pass judgement on his persona, it's what he created and I can respect that."
The students of Class 1-A looked at their teacher like He grew a second head. He... approves?
"Nevertheless, can we get out of this world? It's pretty depressing overall."
Madame Web pursed her lips "Very well... how about... this!"
