Chapter 74 - 6-8

Chapter 6

A Day at the Flash Museum

It has been a day since the incident with Trigon. After having made sure that the cult worshipping Trigon had been dealt with completely, Raven was finally able to be at ease. She attached the crystal that Trigon was sealed inside of onto her forehead so that she could keep an eye on him at all times.

When Ochaco told the others that she almost died due to Dr. Adamson stabbing her multiple times in order to convince Raven to free Trigon and heal her, her classmates were shocked. Even though the mad cultist is dead, Katsuki was still mad that he wasn't the one to personally teach him a lesson. Momo comforted Ochaco greatly, trying to make sure that she wouldn't be too traumatized by the incident. Izuku also comforted her, telling her that he was glad that she was all right and that he wouldn't be able to live with himself if she was gone.

However, both sides knew there was something particular they wanted to say to each other, but they were both too shy to say it and thus ultimately said nothing.

They were then notified that someone was at the door. At first, they were wary that someone was going to come cause trouble again, but Garfield checked and saw that it was someone familiar. "Kid Flash!"

"Kid Flash? I remember reading about him, about him being the Flash's former sidekick!" said Izuku. "He's here?"

"Yep! He's an awesome guy you should really meet!" said Garfield as he remotely opened the entrance door for Kid Flash to come in.

"If he was the Flash's sidekick, then he..." Before Tenya could finish, a redhead teenager in a yellow costume suddenly appeared in the room in the blink of an eye, as if he ran from the bottom all the way here at a fast speed, and that was exactly what he did. "...must be a speedster..."

"Wow! That was fast!" commented Eijiro.

"They don't call me Kid Flash for nothing!" said the newcomer. "So you're the heroes from another universe that I heard the Flash tell me about? Nice to meet you guys!" Using his speed, he ran up to each of them to shake hands with them. He moved so fast that they couldn't see him move at all.

"It's great to meet you! I've read about your exploits when with the Flash and also how you later decided to become a hero of the city you live in!" Izuku said to him.

"Yep! I'm so good that I graduated from being a sidekick to being my own hero!" boasted Kid Flash.

For the next several minutes, the students introduced themselves to Kid Flash and explained to him about how their world works. After hearing them all, Kid Flash said, "Must be nice to be able to make income from crime fighting! The part about about having to go to school first and then getting a license to become a hero sounds like a pain though... If you have the skills already, you should just be allowed to skip straight to professional levels!"

"Yeah! That's how things should be! That's why this world is better!" said Katsuki.

"With an attitude like that, you'll never be able to behave like a real pro hero..." Momo said to the "exploding" student.

"So anyway... Since you're new here, I was wondering if there was any way to give you guys a treat," said Kid Flash. "Since being heroes is all the rage in your world, I figured you might be interested in visiting the Flash Museum in Central City. You know, as in a museum dedicated to the Flash!"

"The Flash Museum! I've read about that online! I really want to visit that place!" said Izuku in excitement.

"A museum dedicated to the Flash? Museums dedicated to heroes isn't unheard of in our world, but one entirely dedicated to a single person is new..." said Shouto.

"This shows that the Flash a worthy hero who deserves such glory and honor!" said Fumikage.

"All right! Let's all go there, then!" said Kid Flash.

Kid Flash and the students finally arrived at the Flash Museum, which had quite a number of people touring the place at the moment. Izuku was shaking with excitement and his eyes were sparkling as he entered the building. He looked around with great joy to see what sort of wonders he can find in this place.

"Welcome to the Flash Museum!" said Kid Flash, who had changed into his casual attire. He also told them his name is Wally West.

"Wow! I can't believe I'm here! Look at the golden statue of the Flash standing there! It's so beautiful!" said Izuku in awe, noting said statue.

"It's very well-made!" said Momo in agreement.

The teenagers toured the place, seeing several things that gave them more knowledge about the Flash's history. They learned that the first incarnation of the Flash is a middle-aged man whose costume consists of a red shirt, blue pants, and a metal helmet with wing decorations.

"He looks kinda old to be fighting crime if you ask me..." said Ochaco, looking at the picture of said speedster.

"Old heroes are all kinds of badass! The older you are, the more awesome you are!" said Eijiro.

"On the contrary, old age can hinder your skills in combat due to worse health," Shouto told him. "They can only last for so long before they have to retire."

They later saw a picture of a large glowing ball made of electricity and learned that it was called the Speed Force, the source of power for speedsters.

"This is how the Flash got his powers?" said Momo.

"How does this work?" asked a confused Ochaco.

"According to the Flash, he got his powers from getting hit by lightning while working on chemicals. At first, it seems to be a simple case of genetics being altered, but in reality, it granted him connection to a cosmic force known as the Speed Force so that he can draw power from it to run super fast," explained Wally. "I got my powers the exact same way, albeit I did on purpose rather than accident. It was worth it!"

"Then is it possible that the speedster heroes in our world actually draw power from the Speed Force as well?" wondered Izuku.

"There's actually a way you can tell if they do get their powers from the Speed Force. All you have to do is to note if there is electricity around them when they run," explained Kid Flash. "That's usually a good indicator that they are a Speed Force speedster."

"I'll be sure to keep an eye on that!" said Izuku.

They eventually went to an area in the museum that showcased notable villains the Flash met before. "What the...?" said Momo, weirded out by the statue of a blue starfish with one eye.

"Starro the Conqueror... A starfish-like alien with the ability to create miniature clones of itself that can latch onto people's faces to serve as extensions of Starro himself... He is the first major enemy the Justice League battled after the organization was formed..." said Izuku, reading from the sign in front of the statue.

"That's one bizarre-looking alien..." commented Ochaco.

"The eldritch horrors of space know no limits when it comes to their appearances..." said Fumikage.

"How dangerous can a starfish be?" asked Katsuki.

"The real thing is much, much, much bigger than this statue," Wally told him. "It took the entire League to take him down, and it wasn't easy."

"If it is massive, then I can see how it can be a problem to deal with," said Tenya.

They continued to tour the area, looking at wax statues of various villains the Flash fought.

"Captain Cold... Heat Wave... These two were the ones we encountered," said Shouto, looking at the statues of those two particular villains.

"Gorilla Grodd...? A gorilla was the Flash's enemy...?" said Eijiro in confusion while looking at the statue of a gorilla. "And it says here he has psychic powers... Weird power for a gorilla to have..."

"Reverse Flash..." said Izuku, looking at the statue villain that looks like just like the Flash, except the costume is yellow instead of red. Reading the sign, he said to no one in particular, "The Flash's greatest enemy and one of the most dangerous speedsters ever..."

Close by, Katsuki was looking at the statue of a fat balding man wearing green armor resembling a turtle shell. "Turtle? Lame! What sort of name is that?! And how can turtle powers help you?" said Katsuki. "Let's see him get back up after falling on his back!"

He then looked at the statue of a person who looks like a robot due to pieces of metal covering his body. "Girder... This one looks more like an actual, intimidating villain! I'd rather face someone like him than some guy called the Turtle!"

He turned around to leave, but then heard someone said, "Then I'll grant you your wish!" As if acting on instinct, Katsuki rolled out of the way just in time to avoid a fist coming down onto him. He turned around to see that the Girder statue was now moving.

"What the?! It moved?!" said the student in shock.

The people nearby were surprised that the Girder statue moved, and some of them thought it was an animatronic and part of the museum display. However, Wally knew better. "That's no animatronic! That's the real Girder!"

"Yes, and I was beginning to think nobody will ever notice that I removed the statue and replaced it with myself!" said Girder. Grabbing the Turtle statue next to him, he tossed at a bunch of people, who screamed in terror. Wally rushed into them and carried them to safety, all the while changing into his hero costume.

Realizing that a real villain is inside, the guests began screaming and running around in panic. The students were trying to help with the situation by making sure that the guests were being evacuated from the place, all the while keeping an eye on Girder. Speaking of which, Katsuki was standing before the villain.

"Good timing! I was in the mood to fight someone, so you will do!" Katsuki said to him.

"If you have a death wish, then so be it!" Girder said to him.

"Hey Tony! I liked that statue of myself! That was unnecessary to destroy it!" said a balding person wearing what appears to be a turtle shell as he came forward.

"You have ego issues if you're getting so upset over a wax statue!" Girder said to him in response.

Katsuki looked at the approaching villain and said, "What coincidence... I was just making fun of his name..."

Shouto looked up and noticed that a portion of the ceiling was releasing smoke, as if something was burning it from above. The ceiling suddenly burst open, and someone fell down. It was a hulking being made of molten tar.

"So... I guess it's a gathering of villains today?" asked Wally.

"And don't forget me!" said a newcomer as he entered the scene. He is a man wearing a rainbow-colored suit and a pair of visors. "If you haven't realized it yet, Kid Flash, we agreed to pull this off together to get the Flash's attention!"

Remembering the wax statues he saw, Izuku said, "It's Girder, Tar Pit, the Turtle... and... and... I don't know that person..." He said that while looking at Rainbow Raider.

"I am Rainbow Raider!" said the latest villain.

The students were silence with weirded out expressions when they heard that, as if it was a ridiculous-sounding name.

"Rainbow Raider? That's one of the dumbest and even friendliest-sounding villain names ever!" said Katsuki. "You might as well call yourself Happy Rainbow Idiot! What can you do? Fart rainbows in order to fly?" Eijiro and Kid Flash couldn't contain their laughter at his comment.

"Are you implying that the Turtle is a better-sounding name?!" said Rainbow Raider, sounding annoyed.

"Don't look down on turtles. They're awesome! The world can never have enough turtles!" said the guy in the armor known as the Turtle.

"And this is what I can do!" said Rainbow Raider as he shot a multicolored beam from his visor at Katsuki, but the latter rolled away in time. The beam caused damage when it struck the statue of a villain called Mirror Master.

"Whoa... That looks deadly!" commented Tenya.

"All right, now that you're here, which of you want a piece of me first?" Kid Flash asked the villains.

"You think you can take on all of us at once?" Girder asked him.

"He's not alone! We're with him!" Izuku said to him.

"And who do you think you are?" asked the Turtle.

Before Izuku could give a response, Katsuki said, "We're the ones who's gonna screw you over!" He then released an explosion at the Turtle, but a dome of green energy appeared around the villain, causing the explosion to slow down when it entered the dome.

"So you're wannabe heroes, huh? A bit too young for that, don't you think?" said the Turtle as he walked away from the explosion, the dome following him. The dome then disappeared, and the explosion returned to its normal speed and went on ahead to destroy a wall.

Seeing this, Izuku said, "That green energy field around him slowed down Kacchan's explosion! It must have the ability to slow things down! Slow just like how turtles are slow!"

"I'll have to admit that the Turtle is one of the more annoying villains because of that ability..." said Kid Flash. "But here's a tip: he has a 2.7 seconds cooldown after turning off his slow powers, so this time gap is when you approach him!"

"2.7 seconds? That is a lot of time for someone capable of moving fast! That information is very much appreciated!" said Tenya.

"Either one of you come after me, or you can come after me all at once!" said Katsuki. He then pointed at Girder and said, "How about you? I was thinking that you look like a tough opponent earlier when I saw your statue, so I think I'll take on you!"

"You got a death wish, brat?" Girder said to him.

Shouto eyed Tar Pit and thought, "His power is heat-based, so perhaps my ice Quirk will be useful against him."

Fumikage decided to target Rainbow Raider and thus sent forth Dark Shadow, hoping to catch him by surprise and end things fast. "What the heck is that?!" said Rainbow Raider in shock, and he fired a rainbow blast from his visor that struck Dark Shadow, making it cry in pain and returning to Fumikage's body. "Ha! Doesn't look so tough after all!"

All of a sudden, someone dashed into Kid Flash and pinned him to the wall with his hand. It was a person wearing the same kind of costume as the Flash, except it is black and has a mouth piece with patterns resembling sharp teeth. "Not fast enough to deal with me, however!" said the newcomer.

"Zoom!" gasped Kid Flash.

The students were shocked at the appearance of this new speedster who was obviously a villain. They were going to take action to save Kid Flash when suddenly a red blur arrived at the scene, tackling the black speedster away and therefore saving the younger speedster. "Sorry for the late arrival," said the red blur that is the Flash. "The Trickster was replenishing his supply of marbles at the marble factory illegally, so I had to deal with that first before coming here. You can say he lost his marbles!"

"Flash! Your days as a speedster are over! I will kill you both and become the only speedster in the world!" said the black speedster previously referred to as Zoom.

"Right, as if you can accomplish that! And I'm not sure if Thawne will be too happy about you taking out his greatest enemy before him!" said the Flash, crossing his arms with a smug look on his face.

"Another speedster villain?!" asked Eijiro in shock while looking at Zoom.

"Is he not the same person as that one?" wondered Ochaco, pointing to the statue of the Reverse Flash.

"This one seems to be someone else, called Zoom, as Kid Flash said just now," said Izuku.

"You can that these villains have no creativity if they thought they can get away with copying the hero's costume!" said Katsuki.

"I've gathered together people who want you dead," Zoom said to the Flash. "No matter how fast you are, it will not be enough to take us all down!"

"You underestimate me too much, Zolomon," the Flash said to him. "I have a good track record of winning against multiple opponents at once, and this time, I have allies as well!"

"Right! We will fight alongside to defeat you all you!" said Izuku.

"Your friends will not help you win! They will all die, and it will be your fault for failing to protect them!" said Zoom in response.

"Someone's confident in himself! Let's see where your confidence is after I'm done with you!" said Katsuki.

"You kids deal with the others. This guys too much for you too handle," the Flash told the students.

Everyone got ready to face the opponents he or she was previously dealing with, while the Flash and Kid Flash readied themselves against Zoom.

Chapter 7

Speedsters' Enemies

Fumikage and Dark Shadow moved around to dodge the rainbow beams that Rainbow Raider was firing at them both. "Dark Shadow seems to be very susceptible to his attack!" the former thought.

"Haha! What's the matter? Can't handle the power of the rainbow?" taunted Rainbow Raider. While he was busy trying to hit Fumikage, Ochako rammed into him from behind, using her Quirk on him the moment she touched him so that he became lighter and flew across the room, hitting the wall.

Rainbow Raider fell to the floor and then got back up, but before he could do anything, Dark Shadow swipes its claw at him to send him tumbling away. The villain got back up while groaning in pain and anger. "You've asked for it! Let's see how you like this!" he said as he glared at Dark Shadow, and then his visor glowed in red light.

Dark Shadow's eyes turned red, and then the shadowy being let out a roar of anger and began thrashing around. "Dark Shadow?! What are you doing?!" asked Fumikage in surprise. He tried to get Dark Shadow to obey, but the latter was behaving aggressively and even threatened its master.

"My visor can also be used to alter the emotions of people, and I've inflicted rage on whatever that thing is!" explained Rainbow Raider.

"How dare you?! Change him back at once!" said Ochako before running at Rainbow Raider.

"Would you like to let loose your rage as well?" the villain asked her as his visor glowed red. Ochako closed her eyes and held her hands over her face to avoid seeing the glowing visor, only to get hit by a rainbow beam and knocked back. "Ha! Fooled ya!"

Ochako got back up while groaning in pain. When Rainbow Raider fired at her again, she hurriedly lightened her weight and leaped into the air at a fast speed. She then fell towards the villain with a drop kick, increasing her weight in the process.

The villain jumped back, so she only managed to hit the floor right in front of him. However, almost as soon as she landed, Ochako performed a leg sweep that knocked Rainbow Raider onto the floor, and then acting fast, she elbow slammed him in the abdomen hard. While he was in pain, she removed his visor and turned to Fumikage, who was still trying to control the enraged Dark Shadow.

"How does this thing work?" she wondered as she put on the visor and felt her hands all over it, and it suddenly released various lights that shined onto Dark Shadow. A few seconds later, the shadowy creature returned to normal.

"You're back to normal!" Fumikage said to it. The latter felt embarrassed for what it did.

"Why you?! Give it back!" said Rainbow Raider angrily as he grabbed Ochako by her shoulders from behind. Because his body was still light, Ochako was easily able to flip him over herself just by bending forward at a fast speed, and he was thrown into the air. "Whoa!"

Dark Shadow then swatted him out of the air, sending him into a wall hard. Ochako canceled her Quirk on him after that, and he fell onto the floor and passed out. "All right! That should teach him!" said Ochako happily.

"The darkness of justice has overcome the rainbow of evil!" said Fumikage.

Katsuki yelled loudly as he charged at Girder and thrust forth his palm, colliding it with the latter's fist. After the impact was made, an explosion came out from Katsuki's palm, pushing back Girder a number of steps.

Eijiro charged at Girder afterwards with his body hardened, hitting the villain in the side with a shoulder bash. He then punched Girder nonstop. "You brat!" said Girder in anger as he slammed down his fist like a hammer onto him. Eijiro held his arms over himself for defense, though the force of the punch was so strong that he was made to bend against his will, but he mustered his strength to push against the fist.

Katsuki ran at Girder and slammed both his hands into the villain, generating an explosion after doing so to blast the villain away into a wall so hard that cracks appeared on it.

Eijiro ran up to Girder to punch him again, this time trying to hit harder than before. Girder caught his fist after a few times, however, and then picked him up to slam him against the floor multiple times before hurling him away. Eijiro was able to land on his feet and come to a sliding stop, revealing a body that had become extremely rugged and monstrous-looking.

"You'll have to hit harder than that to break through my defense!" said Eijiro. He charged at Girder, ramming the metallic villain with all his might and pushing him into the wall, making more cracks appear on it.

"Out of the way!" shouted Katsuki as he released explosions behind himself to propel towards the villain at a fast speed. Eijiro got out of the way just as Katsuki got close to Girder and pressed his hands against the villain, releasing an explosion that blasted him through the wall and outside the museum.

Girder soared through the air and crashed onto the pavement hard, and all the cars stopped just in time to avoid running into him. Looking out, Eijiro said as he returned to normal, "Yeah! We did it! Our manly teamwork took him down!"

"You want to take on me?" Tar Pit asked Shouto, who approached him.

"I feel like my powers are the most fitting to take you down," said Shouto.

"Haha! Talk big! Whatever power you have won't be enough to take me down!" said Tar Pit. "Eat this!" He hurled a chunk of molten tar at Shouto, who hurriedly created an ice wall to block it. However, the temperature of the tar melted through the ice wall at a fast speed, so he had to get out of the way.

After doing so, Shouto sent out ice along the floor at Tar Pit, freezing him starting from the feet. Due to Tar Pit's high body temperature, however, the ice wasn't able to get far before melting, and the villain laughed. "Ha! Ice powers? That's the worst possible power to use against me!"

"You won't know until I get serious!" said Shouto.

"I'd like to see you get a serious burn on your skin!" said Tar Pit as he threw more tar chunks at him, but Shouto generated ice under his feet to slide out of the way fast.

"No thanks. Getting burned once was enough!" replied the latter, referring to the scar on his face he received from his mother. He then fired ice shards at Tar Pit, but they melted shortly after embedding into his body.

Tar Pit was suddenly hit in the side by a strong, concentrated blast of water. "What the?!"

It was Momo who created a high pressure water gun to shoot water at Tar Pit, and cold water at that. Steam came out from Tar Pit's body when he was shot with the cold water, and he could feel his body temperature dropping, as evident of the glowing orange parts of his body slowly becoming dim.

"Now's the chance!" thought Shouto as he released ice along the floor and towards Tar Pit again. Due to the villain now having a lower body temperature, the ice was able to climb up him without freezing this time.

"Why you?!" said Tar Pit angrily as he attempted to heat up, but with Momo shooting cold water at him nonstop, he was unable to do so properly. Soon, the ice was able to freeze Tar Pit completely.

"All right! We did it!" exclaimed Momo.

"That's that," said Shouto, and then he turned to Momo and thanked her.

"I'll show you what the Still Force is capable of!" said the Turtle as he created a chain made out of green energy.

"What?! He can do that as well?!" asked Izuku in surprise. "I thought it was simply generating a dome that causes slowness?! And Still Force? Is that related to the Speed Force?"

"I can also create solid constructs, and whatever they hit will slow down for several seconds!" said the Turtle as he swung the chain over his head several times. "Try to dodge it if you can!" He swung the chain at Izuku and Tenya, who used the help of their Quirks to dodge the swings.

Eventually, the chain construct disappeared due to reaching its time limit, and so Tenya dashed at the villain. "He has a cooldown of 2.7 seconds! I must hit fast!" the former thought. He attack the Turtle with a jet-powered kick, but the villain was protected by his turtle armor, and Tenya felt as if his bone broke from the kick. "YEOW!"

"Fool! You think you can easily break my turtle armor with a kick?" asked the Turtle while smiling evilly. When the cooldown time was up, he created a sword construct and swung it at Tenya, who tried his best to escape, but was still cut in the shoulder.

Not only was there was a visible wound on his shoulder, his movements also slowed down. "Oh... no...!" Even his talking slowed down.

The Turtle tried to stab Tenya with the sword while the latter was still slowed down, but Izuku dashed at Tenya and carried him out of harm's way fast. Tenya's speed returned to normal afterwards, and he placed his hand over the wound on his shoulder and grunted in pain. "Are you all right?" Izuku asked him in concern.

"It's not a big problem, but I feel ashamed for messing up!" said Tenya. "I thought my kick would be strong enough to knock him over, but his armor is tough!"

"That's right! A turtle's shell is not something you can break through so easily! My turtle armor is easily several times harder than a normal turtle shell! Even the Flash running into me at a fast speed can't knock me over!" boasted the Turtle.

"Too bad for him, he left his head wide open," Izuku said in his head while observing the villain.

Izuku approached the villain, getting ready to make a move, and the Turtle said, "You want a piece of me too? You won't be able to get to me in time before I use my Still Force!"

"We'll see about that!" said Izuku as he approached the villain. The villain was going to get ready to generate his "slow dome" when suddenly Izuku released a large amount of smoke from his body.

"What the?!" asked the Turtle in shock as the smoke engulfed him. "Where'd all this smo..." Before he could finish speaking, Izuku punched him in the face hard and sent him flying backwards until he hit a wall. The villain then fell over on the floor and passed out.

"You should've worn a helmet or a mask for protection!" Izuku said to him as the smoke dissipated.

"You did it, Midoriya!" Tenya said to him. "But where did the smoke come from? Did you create it?"

Izuku wasn't sure how to respond to him. The smokescreen was the Quirk of one of the previous One For All users, and he had wanted to keep his other Quirks a secret from his classmates, other than Katsuki ,since they do not know the truth behind his Quirk.

"I... I think my Quirk is still developing... New stuff are popping out all the time..." he lied to Tenya.

"Strange... I have never seen a Quirk with so many applications before that look unrelated..." said Tenya. "First, the black ropes, and now the smoke..."

"Yeah, I'm confused and surprised as well... Hopefully I can solve this soon..." said Izuku, hoping that Tenya wouldn't pry into things any more.

"I'm sure you can! You're smart when it comes to this sort of thing after all!" Tenya told him while giving him a thumbs up.

Izuku then looked around to see that his classmates had finished dealing with the other villains. He then asked, "Where is the Flash?"

"He was still here when we were fighting," said Tenya.

"Everyone! The Flash is fighting outside!" called out Eijiro, who was looking out the hole on the wall created when Girder was knocked outside. Everyone ran to him and Katsuki and looked out to see three speeding figures outside the museum running around and occasionally running into each other.

The Flash and Kid Flash ran around the place, chasing Zoom, but sometimes it would become Zoom chasing the two of them instead. They occasionally dashed into each other and traded super fast punches for a few seconds before running off to chase each other again.

"You cannot beat me!" Zoom said to him as he ran alongside the Flash. "I'm faster than you!"

"I wonder where I heard that before," said the Flash in a sarcastic manner.

Zoom zoomed ahead of him and then u-turned to run towards him. The Flash got out of the way to avoid getting rammed into by Zoom. Zoom saw Kid Flash running into him up ahead and so began vibrating incredibly fast to let the younger speedster phase through him.

When Kid Flash went passed him completely, Zoom reached back at a fast speed and caught him by the shoulder to hurl him away into a tree. The Flash charged at Zoom after that to throw a punch, but Zoom reacted in time and stepped out of the way. The two speedsters faced each other and threw punches that they either dodged or clashed against each other.

Meanwhile, the students came out of the museum and to the same area. They were amazed at the speed those two were moving at as they fought. "They're fast...! I can barely see them! This is more than my older brother and I can run!" said Tenya in awe.

"Wow! I've never seen such a fast-paced battle before!" said Izuku.

"Kid Flash!" said Momo, pointing at the younger speedster who was getting back up after hitting the tree.

The students ran up to him, and Ochaco asked him, "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine. Speedsters heal faster than other people," Kid Flash told him.

"Should we help the Flash?" asked Shouto.

"I don't see how we can help them, considering the way they are moving around..." said Fumikage.

The Flash spun in circles, generating a large amount of electricity until he formed a spear made of electricity in his hand. "Whoa! He can do that?!" asked Izuku in surprise.

"Kaminari would love to be able to do that!" said Eijiro.

The Flash threw the electric spear at Zoom as the villain ran towards him. However, the villain stepped to the side at the last second and continued heading for the Flash, this time successfully ramming into him and knocking him on his back. Zoom grabbed him by the neck and vibrated his other hand. "I've got you now!" Zoom said to him. "You're finished!"

"No!" Kid Flash shouted as he ran into Zoom, but the villain threw the Flash into him, knocking them both away.

"Fool! No one can ever be fast enough to catch up with me!" said Zoom.

"That villain is good!" said Ochako in disbelief. "Even the Flash and Kid Flash working together can't take him down, and those two are supposed to be as fast as him!"

"How can such a fast villain be taken down?!" asked Momo.

"Simple! Just catch him by surprise!" said Katsuki as he pointed his palm at Zoom, who had his head turned away from them. He fired a concentrated exploding beam at Zoom, hoping to hit him before he could realize it, only for the villain to run out of the way the last second and appear behind a surprised Katsuki.

"Fool! This will be the death of you!" said Zoom as he vibrated his hand at an incredibly fast speed, ready to stab Katsuki's back. However, he was interrupted by Tenya dashing into him using his engines.

"If you want a battle of speed, I'll give you one!" said Tenya before running at Zoom. The student dashed around the place, trying to ram into Zoom, who was able to dodge his attacks with ease.

"You dare call yourself a speedster with a speed like this? You are an insult to everything fast!" said Zoom. When Tenya dashed towards him again, he stepped aside and kicked him in the leg to make him trip.

"Iida!" said Izuku in shock.

Before Zoom could do anything to Tenya, the Flash charged into him to stop him. Kid Flash also joined in on attacking Zoom afterwards.

The students ran up to Tenya, and Momo asked him if he was all right. "I'm all right. Just a small scrape to the knee..." replied the class president.

"It was unlike of you to charge into him head-on," Shouto said to him. "You're usually the one telling us not to be hasty."

"I know... You can say that I sort of got jealous seeing how the Flash and even Zoom are capable of running so fast, so I desperately wanted to prove that I can move faster than I currently am..." replied Tenya.

"You have your own way of utilizing your speed, so you do not have to force yourself to run like them," Fumikage told him.

"Right! You have your own way of fighting! It's not only about being fast, but also about using your speed in the right way!" Izuku told him. "There is more than one way to beat fast villains and not just simply trying to catch up with them!

"You're right... I have think a better way to deal with someone that fast," said Tenya in agreement. Looking at the three speedsters engaged in their battle, something came to Tenya. "Todoroki, try freezing the ground. Let's see Zoom try to run on slippery surface!"

"You sure this is a good idea?" Shouto asked him. "The Flash and Kid Flash will slip as well."

"Not according to what I've learned in the Flash Museum! Just do it!" Tenya told him.

Though unsure about what he said, Shouto still did as told. He stepped towards the fighting speedsters and then caused a large portion of the ground up ahead to be covered in a layer of ice.

When the ice went underneath Zoom, the villain was surprised as he struggled to not slip, and this resulted in him slowing down. The Flash, however, did not slow down even a bit, so he was able to catch up with Zoom and punch him hard in the face, knocking him down. Kid Flash didn't slip as well, and he punched Zoom in the face next.

"They got him!" exclaimed Izuku.

"All right! That was a smart move!" said Eijiro happily.

"While in the museum, there was a diagram showing the various functions of the Flash's costume, and it said that his boots are slip-proof," said Tenya. "I wasn't sure if Zoom applied the same thing to his costume, but it's good to know he didn't!"

"You paid attention well, kid!" the Flash said to Tenya. "I did indeed give myself slip-proof boots so that I can run on slippery surfaces without a problem! Kid Flash did the same. Too bad they don't help against the Trickster's marbles..."

Standing back up on ground that wasn't frozen, Zoom said, "You think a bit of ice is going to beat me? It will take more than..." He was interrupted by two blurs charging into him one after the other, hitting him hard.

"Oh nice!" said the Flash. "Time to finish this!" He and Kid Flash joined the other two blurs in attacking Zoom, not giving him the chance to fight back.

Zoom found himself outnumbered and even overpowered, so he decided to retreat for now. He looked for an opening and then hurriedly ran... right in the student's direction. Acting fast, Tenya kicked him hard with the help of his engines.

KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!

Zoom was knocked back into the air and came crashing back down. Combined with the beating he received from the other speedsters previously, the kick and the fall was finally able to knock him out.

"All right! We won!" said Eijiro happily.

"That was a fast reaction time!" Momo said to Tenya.

"Fast reaction times are necessarily for speedsters, and I can assure you that I do practice that!" said Tenya.

"Great job!" the Flash said to Tenya. "That was a nice kick! You really gave him a boot to the face!"

The other two new speedsters stopped. One of them is an old man wearing a metal winged helmet, while the other one is a brown-haired teenager in a white and red suit. "That old man! He's the first Flash! The same one we saw at the museum!" said Izuku in excitement when he saw the former.

"It really is him!" said Momo in surprise.

The two speedsters approached the students, and the old man said to Tenya, "Nice move there, young one! He really could've escaped if you didn't stop him!"

"I am glad to be of help, but it wouldn't have been possible without you in the first place!" Tenya said to him.

"Sup, folks! Impulse at your service!" said the speedster in white and red, and he shook their hands at a fast speed.

"It's nice to meet other speedsters! I feel honored!" Izuku happily said to them.

"This is Jay Garrick, the original Flash who inspired me to become a hero after I got my powers," the Flash explained to the students. "And Impulse here is my grandson. He comes from the future."

"From the future?! Then how is he here?!" asked Ochako in surprise.

"Time travel! Speedsters are capable of doing this without the need of time machines if they know how!" Impulse told her.

"Time travel is real here as well?! Man, this world is full of surprises!" said Eijiro in disbelief.

"If you come from the future, then why are you here?" Shouto asked Impulse.

"Felt like meeting my ancestors, that's all! Not like I don't go back to my own time period at all, mind you," replied Impulse. "Even if the world now is primitive compared to where I am from, it's still got its own neat tastes!"

"You know, we should be making sure that the villains don't get back up and run first..." said Kid Flash.

"Right! Let's deal with them first!" agreed the Flash.

Several minutes later, all the villains were taken away by the police. The students learned that the police departments of this world have access to power dampeners so that they can easily detain metahumans.

After going to a place with lesser people, the students explained to Jay and Impulse about who they are. "Neat! A place filled with superheroes that make money through crime fighting sounds like my kind of thing!" said Impulse.

"It's always nice to see someone who agrees with this!" said Ochako.

"While that may sound like a dream job for folks like you, it's important to always take saving lives as number one priority," Jay told them. "Even in circumstances you can't get anything in return, you should still continue to fight for what's right. That is what is most important about being a hero! I've been fighting crime for several years already, and not once did I get a physical reward for all that I've did, yet I never complained even once. The smiles on the people's face are good enough rewards!"

"Indeed, saving lives is important, and we will do it regardless we get rewarded or not!" said Tenya.

The other said the same, though Ochako still thought having income does bring about more motivation.

After that, Izuku asked the Flash, "While I was fighting the Turtle, he mentioned that his power is something called the Still Force. It sounds a lot like the Speed Force. Are they related?"

"It's a cosmic force similar to the Speed Force," the Flash told him. "Whereas the Speed Force is all speed and motion, the Speed Force is the opposite."

"I see... Are there several of these cosmic forces in the universe that grant people powers?" asked Izuku.

"I'm not an expert in other types of cosmic forces other than the Speed Force, so I can't really give you a satisfying answer..." said the Flash. "All I know is that this universe is full of mysterious and unexplainable stuff that if solved, may very well answer every question in life. Perhaps the question to the origin of Quirks in your world may be answered!"

Hearing this made Izuku interested. It would appear that this world, or even the entire universe, is a lot bigger than he thought, and he wondered if he would be able to find out more about all the mysterious things in the universe.

Chapter 8

You Have Failed This City

Inside a relatively messy lab-like room, a table could be seen filled with several mechanical components. There were some circle objects with buttons on them placed close to the edge. An office chair was suddenly pushed towards the table by an unseen person, hitting the table hard enough to shake it and cause one of the objects to fall off. It hit the floor with its button, causing it create a portal in front of it before disintegrating completely.

Another circle object was close to falling off the edge of the table when this happened, and when the portal appeared, it finally rolled off the table and right into the portal, which disappeared shortly afterwards.

"Did something happen just now?" asked a deep and rough voice from somewhere in the room.

Back in U.A., class went on as usual for Class 1-A, despite eight of its students having gone missing. The remaining classmates were worried for them, wondering where they went.

Denki, Mina, and Toru were walking together in a hallway with worried looks on their faces. "Where could they have went?" wondered Denki. "I hope they're all right..."

"I can't believe that the strongest ones in our class, like Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo, would go missing! If they were attacked by villains, you'd expect those three to be able to fight back and make it out alive," said Mina.

"The villains must've ambushed them! Perhaps those villains are invisible, so they are unable to see who they are fighting!" said Toru.

"Yeah, facing invisible opponents can be tough," agreed Denki. "Wait a minute, have you even won a one-on-one fight yourself?"

"Imagine more skilled versions of me and you'll get a good picture!" Toru told him.

"What are you talking about?" asked someone. The three looked ahead and saw a Nejire standing there.

"It's Hado senpai!" said Mina. "It's a surprise to meet you!"

"No need for formals! We're good friends after all!" Nejire told them. "I remember... Some of your classmates went missing, right?"

"Yeah, and we were talking about it just now..." said Denki.

"I'm sorry to hear that... I hope they are found soon..." said Nejire.

"Huh? Isn't that Hastumei?" said Toru, looking at a pink-haired girl approaching them.

"Hello there!" Mei said to them while waving. "How's class?"

"Hard to concentrate when some of our classmates have missing..." said Denki.

"What?" said Mei in confusion.

"You don't know?!" asked Mina in surprise.

"I've been absorbed in making babies in my workshop these past couple of days and didn't really pay attention to the news," said Mei.

Toru chuckled a bit and said, "Imagine hearing that without context...! Making babies in your workshop!"

"So what's that about your classmates disappearing?" asked Mei. The three then explained to her what happened. "Ooh, that sounds like a serious issue... Maybe I can whip up something that can help find them."

"That would be great!" said Denki.

"I'll need to have more information on what happened, though," said Mei. "Perhaps I should check the security footage first?"

All of a sudden, a blue portal appeared next to them without a word, much to their surprise. A circle device with a button on it fell out of it and hit the floor, causing a second portal to show up. The first portal disappeared, and the device that created the second portal disintegrated. "Whoa! What is that?!" asked Toru in surprise.

"Be careful!" Nejire warned them. "It's probably a trap!"

The portal just stayed there and didn't disappear, and the more Mei looked at it, the more curious she became. "Didn't you say that your classmates disappeared through a portal?" she said. "What if...?"

"You're trying to say this is the same portal that took them away?" asked Mina.

"Perhaps, and that's what we're about to find out! The first step to resolving a problem is took take one huge step ahead, and I'm going to step through this portal right now!" said Mei.

"No! We should tell the teachers!" Nejire told her. Before she could stop Mei, the latter ran into the portal without a second thought. "Hatsume! Get back here!" Then she ran into the portal after her.

The other three students looked at each other with dumbfounded looks, unsure what to make of this situation. "You think we should go in too?" asked Denki.

"They may need our help! I know Hado senpai is one of the top three students, but she's not invincible!" said Toru. "And assuming that our friends are indeed on the other side, we have even more reason to go through this portal!"

"But I still think it's too dangerous..." said Mina.

"I'm going in whether you like it or not!" said Toru as she headed through the portal. Denki and Mina decided to follow her through it afterwards.

The fives students stepped out of the portal and found themselves in a nighttime area, and around them were buildings with English signs. "Where is this place?" wondered Nejire.

Suddenly, the portal disappeared. "Oh no! The portal is gone! How are we going to get back?!" asked Mina in shock.

"I told you this was a bad idea!" said Denki.

"Yeah, I think you're right..." said Toru, sounding guilty.

"Calm down! Let's get a good look at where we are first and then figure out what to do," suggested Mei.

"You're the one who got us into this in the first place..." grumbled Nejire.

Looking around, they saw that all the signs were English, and there were some skyscrapers in the distance. "It seems that we are in America," said Nejire.

"So we're in America? Good to know! Let's see if there are any pro heroes who can help get us back to Japan!" suggested Denki.

Suddenly, they saw a group of people coming out from a nearby building, which appears to have been broken into due to the door having been broken down. The fact those people are carrying guns and large bags made it clear that these are bank robbers.

The particular people stood out from among the generic-looking robbers. One of them is a large, muscular man with brownish-red skin wearing a white suit. The second one is a humanoid made from several metal shards stuck together somehow.

"Are they bank robbers...?" asked a worried Mina.

"Huh? What are kids doing here?" asked the muscular man in English.

Understanding English, Mei asked them, "Are you people villains robbing a bank?"

"You know English?" Toru asked her.

"Of course! I need to learn several languages in order to sell my babies internationally!" Mei told her.

"Who are these school kids?" asked on the robbers. "What's with the pink girl? Is she an alien?"

"Are those clothes floating in air?! What the heck?!" asked another one, pointing at Toru.

"Whoever they they, we can't have witnesses," said the muscular man. "Get rid of them!"

"Sure thing, Brick!" said the robbers as they raised their guns at the students. Denki, Mina, and Toru looked worried, but Nejire stepped forward with a serious look on her face.

"You four stay back! I'll handle them!" she told them.

"I don't know what you just said, girl, since we don't speak Japanese, but you better stay down, or else you'll get a bullet through your head!" one of the robbers said to her. She kept on approaching him, however. "Do you have a death wish? Then die!"

He pulled his trigger, but with an unexpectedly fast speed, Nejire dodged it before grabbing his arm and disarming him. She then kneed him in the abdomen and hurled him away.

Seeing this, the other robbers fired at her, but she was able to dodge them with swift movements and then punched and kicked them out one by one.

"Wow! She's good!" said Toru in awe.

"She is one of the Big 3 after all!" said Denki. "Still, I didn't expect her to be this good even without using her Quirk!"

The muscular man named Brick was surprised to see the robbers getting beaten up by Nejire, who turned to him after dealing with them. "Tsk! Useless! Losing to a little girl!" said Brick in frustration, and then he turned to the being made of metal shards. "Shrapnel! Deal with her!"

"As you wish!" said the being called Shrapnel as he approached Nejire.

"A mutant-type... Guess I'll have to start using my Quirk now!" thought Nejire, while the other students cheered her on.

Swinging his hand, Shrapnel shot pieces of the scrap metals on his body at her, to which she responded by jumping aside. He continued to fire scrap metals that she kept on dodging, but when she landed near some of the previously fired metal shards, they exploded, catching her by surprise and blowing her back. "Kya!"

Shrapnel leaped at her while he was down, thrusting his sharp fingers at her, but she rolled out of the way in time and then released a blast of energy from her hand at him, blasting him away.

"What?! How did she do that?!" asked Brick in shock.

Pieces of Shrapnel's body broke off him and fell onto the pavement. One of them flew in front of Mei, who picked it up and observed it. When Shrapnel stood up, the shards flew back to him as if they were attracted to a magnet, including the one in Mei's hand.

Noticing this, Denki said in shock, "He fixed himself! It's like regeneration!"

"Quirks that can heal are a pain to deal with..." said Mina.

"That was a surprise, girl, but it won't get me against next time!" said Shrapnel before firing more shards at Nejire, who released blasts of energy from her hands in response, hitting Shrapnel with the full force of her Quirk this time and blowing him into pieces. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Is she a metahuman?!" asked Brick in surprise. Mei heard and understood him and wondered what he meant by metahuman.

Seeing that Shrapnel was in pieces on the pavement and assuming that he was fine due to the fact he could still pull himself together, Nejire turned to Brick and said, "You're next!" That phrase sounded like "Engrish."

"Looks like you're not ordinary girl!" said Brick in frustration. "Fine! I'll show you nobody messes with me here in Star City!" He stepped towards her with his fists folded and ready to punch someone.

Wanting to know what he was capable of first before using her Quirk, Nejire ran up to her and threw a punch. However, she felt quite a pain when her fist struck Brick's body, and he didn't flinch at all and simply smirked. "Ow! It's like hitting a brick wall!" she said in her head while shaking her hand in pain.

Brick threw a punch at her afterwards, but she reacted in time and dodged it by jumping back, and then she released energy blasts at him. Brick took the blasts to his body, but planted his feet firmly on the pavement so that he wasn't blown back by it. She was surprised to see that he was still standing afterwards. "He's still standing?! A blast like that should've blown people even his size off their feet!" she thought. "Must be related to his Quirk!"

"That stung a bit, but you'll have to try harder than that!" said Brick before charging at her, but she jumped out of the way before firing a larger blast of energy at him. In fact, she didn't stop firing and kept on pushing him back with the energy blast until he hit the wall of a building, and said wall was torn down by her Quirk.

"Wow! Awesome!" said Toru in awe.

"That should do it..." said Nejire, panting from using too much of her power just now. However, she was shocked to see Brick walking out as if nothing happened to him, though his suit was torn in some places. "What?! How is he still standing?!"

"Argh! You're starting to get on my nerves!" said Brick in frustration. "Don't get so cocky just yet! I've made sure to bring backup!"

"Hado senpai! Behind you on the roof!" Mei shouted at Nejire all of a sudden. "Get away!"

Without checking what it was Mei was talking about, Nejire threw herself to the side just in time to dodge a bullet that was meant for her, and it was aimed in a way that would've done fatal damage to her. Landing and looking at the roof of a building behind her, Nejire could see something there. "A sniper?!"

"Meow," said the person on the rooftop.

There was a bit of silence among them all as they stared at the source of the meowing. "Yeah, nobody's going to be fooled by that..." said Denki. "That's clearly a human pretending to be a cat..."

Brick used this distraction to hit Nejire, but she jumped out of the way in time and proceeded to avoid the punches he threw at her. All the while, the person on the roof continued to snipe her, but she was able to dodge them as well. Some of the bullets hit Brick, but to her surprise, they bounced off him harmlessly. "His Quirk must have something to do with the hardness of his body, and durability must be involved as well!" she thought.

He then, to the students' surprise, lifted a nearby truck over his head with no effort and then threw it at Nejire, who hastily blew it into pieces with her Quirk. Brick charged through the explosion before it dissipated and rammed into her, knocking her back quite a distance. "Ow..."

"Don't try anything else! Or your friend gets it!" said Shrapnel, who was seen holding Mei by the neck, his sharp fingers pressing against her skin and threatening to pierce through it.

"Um... We can talk over this peacefully..." she said to the villain nervously in English while standing perfectly still.

The goons that Nejire previously knocked out were back on their feet and with their guns pointing at the other three students. "Haha! Make a move and your friend dies, and if your friends do anything, you die!" said Brick. "Whatever you do, you're not getting out of this alive!"

"You can generate electricity to zap them, right?" Mina asked Denki, who said yes.

However, Mei told them, "Probably better that you don't do anything... They threaten to pull the trigger on Hado senpai if we move an inch..." This made those two nervous and think twice before doing anything.

Nejire growled and wondered what to do, and then she noticed a red dot on her chest, realizing that the sniper on the roof was aiming at her. "There has to be a way out!" Nejire said in her head, but she wasn't sure how to respond in a way that could guarantee her own safety and also those others three.

The sniper was lying on his front, aiming his sniper rifle at Nejire and getting ready to pull the trigger if she made a move. An arrow suddenly struck the part of the building right underneath him, but he was too focused on Nejire to notice it. It exploded, blasting him backwards.

The explosion shocked the others, who all turned to where the sniper was. An arrow suddenly attached itself onto Brick's shoulder, and before the villain could react, the arrow exploded. "Ow!"

At almost the same time, an arrow struck Shrapnel and exploded, making him let go of Mei.

The goons panicked, and then they were all struck from behind by someone. The students turned around and saw a blonde woman with a domino mask wearing a black leotard and fishnet stockings standing there. "You're safe now, kids," she said to them.

"Whoa... What a beauty!" commented Denki, mesmerized by her appearance.

"Green Arrow!" shouted Brick just as a person wearing a green hood and a domino masked landed nearby and pointed a bow and arrow at him.

"Danny Brickwell! You have failed this city!" shouted the person before firing his arrow. With a swing of his hand, Brick was able to knock the arrow away before charging at him. The archer got out of the way before firing more exploding arrows at him.

Shrapnel turned to the blonde woman, ready to attack her. She told the students to close their ears, and Mei translated it to the other three so that they did as told. Before Shrapnel could make a move, the woman screamed, releasing a powerful blast of sound at him that caused him to be blown away while breaking into pieces.

"Wow! Her Quirk is just like Present Mic's!" commented Mina in awe.

Nejire was relieved to see that what she believes were pro heroes coming to deal with the situation. "Thanks goodness! We're saved!"

Green Arrow and Brick continued their fight, with the former moving around swiftly to dodge the latter's punches and charges. "Stand still!" Brick said to him in anger.

"Yeah, tell that someone who hates getting punched in the face!" replied the archer. He fired an arrow that attached itself onto Brick's body and then turned into steel wire that wrapped around him tightly. "That wire is strong enough to not get torn apart even by multiple elephants, so you're not breaking out of it!"

Brick growled in anger as he tried to break free of the steel wire, but it was just as tough as Green Arrow said. The hero fired another arrow onto the pavement before him, and it released smoke. When Brick smelled the smoke, he felt drowsy until he finally collapsed on his back and snored loudly.

"Dealing with stubborn rock-for-brains who can't seem to stay down no matter how many times they get hit is annoying, so I've prepared sleeping gas arrows for this occasion!" commented Green Arrow.

Meanwhile, Shrapnel had attached himself together and was fighting the blonde woman, who moved around swiftly to dodge the exploding shards he fired at her. She unleashed her screaming attack at him again, once again blowing him into pieces.

Shrapnel was going to rebuild himself, but Green Arrow fired an arrow onto the pavement of the general area his body pieces are on, and the arrow released electricity around itself, zapping them. Shrapnel screamed in pain and then stopped moving while still in pieces.

"And that's that," said Green Arrow, and then he he aimed his arrow at a nearby rooftop without even watching. "Nope, I didn't forget that guy."

The sniper fired from his sniper rifle. However, the bullet was knocked away when the arrow flew into it, and said arrow continued to fly forward without having its trajectory altered in any way. The arrow flew into the turret of the sniper rifle, exploding when it did so. The person let out a cry of shock and backed away.

"Whoa... What an aim!" commented Nejire in awe.

"Your buddies are down, Onomatopoeia," Green Arrow shouted at the sniper. "Give it up!"

The sniper then revealed itself on the edge of the roof. It was a person wearing a trenchcoat and a black mask with a white bull's eye drawn on it. "Grrrrrr...!"

"Yeah, you keep it up with those childish sounds..." said Green Arrow. Onomatopoeia then took out a pair of machine guns and took aim at the archer. "Okay, the hard way it is, then..." The archer began jumping and running around swiftly to dodge the gunfire. All the while, Onomatopoeia was saying "ratatatata," mimicking the sound of a machine gun.

The blonde woman ran close to the building and jumped into the air when Onomatopoeia fired at her, and while in the air, she screamed at him. The powerful scream demolished the edge of the building he was, causing him to fall down. Despite having a rough fall onto the pavement below, Onomatopoeia stood back up with no problem.

The blonde woman ran up to him and began attacking him, and he fought back. The two traded blows multiple times, and it became clear the woman was the superior fighter. Onomatopoeia was hit multiple times and eventually knocked back onto the pavement. "Bang bang!" he said before taking out a pair of pistols to fire at her, but she avoided them.

Green Arrow fired an arrow at his shoulder, making him stop firing. He stood up, only to be shot with arrows in his limbs. Despite this, he still managed to pull out the arrows and ran off while shooting back at Green Arrow, who dodged the shots. The hero fired an arrow that went in between his legs and hit the pavement, exploding into ice. Onomatopoeia slipped on the frozen spot and slipped, and then Green Arrow caught up with him and punched him in the face multiple times. "Stay down already!" he shouted, sounding frustrated.

Eventually, Onomatopoeia passed out, and Green Arrow stood up while taking a deep breath. "Never got what's the deal with this guy being so tough..."

With all the villains down for the count, Green Arrow and the blonde woman got together with the students. "Wow! That was awesome!" Denki said to him. "Seeing pro heroes fight is always great!"

"He probably can't understand you," Mina reminded him.

"Actually, I can," said Green Arrow in perfect Japanese, much to the student's surprise. "I had lessons in multiple languages!"

"Same with me," said the blonde woman in Japanese.

"That makes things easier!" said Toru.

"Strange bunch we have here, huh?" commented the blonde woman, noting Mina's pink skin and Toru's... seemingly floating set of shirts.

"So... What are you kids doing getting involved with Brick and his cahoots?" Green Arrow asked them.

"You see. We were minding our own business in our school when suddenly a portal..." said Mei, but she got interrupted by the sound of police sirens.

"Uh oh... Gotta bail! Let's talk about this somewhere else!" said Green Arrow.

"Why? It's simply the police," said Nejire. "You defeated the villains, so you have no reason to run from the police."

"The cops here don't really like me," said Green Arrow. The two heroes left the area, with the students following them.

After a while of running, the group was at a place far from the police, who were currently taking away the villains.

"All right... Let's continue where we left off," said Green Arrow. "You said you entered a portal, right?"

"Yes. We were at our school when a portal suddenly showed up, so I entered it to find out more about it, and so we ended up at that place and ran into those villains," explained Mei.

"Entering a portal you find at random? Isn't that too reckless?" asked the blonde woman in Japanese.

"I'm a scientist, so it's my job to study the unknown!" Mei told her.

"Some of our classmates previously went missing because of these portals, so we thought we should be able to find them if we went through one," added Denki.

"What school do you go to anyway? I assume it's in Japan?" asked Green Arrow.

"U.A., the most famous hero school in Japan," replied Nejire.

"U.A.? Hero school? They have hero schools in Japan?" said the blonde woman curiously.

"You don't know U.A.? It's famous that the whole world knows about it! How can you not know about it, seeing how you are pro heroes?" asked Mina.

"Can't say I have ever heard of it," said Green Arrow. "And if you don't mind me asking..." He looked at Mina. "What with your appearance?" Then at Toru... "And... are you invisible or something else...?"

"I'm a mutant-type, which is why I look like this," replied Mina.

"My Quirk allows me to bend light, which in turn made me invisible," replied Toru.

"Quirk?" said the blonde woman in confusion.

"You don't know what Quirks are? How is that possible?! You even have one yourself! You know, the screaming move!" Denki said to the woman.

"That's my superpower," replied the woman.

"Quirks are superpowers! Do they call Quirks differently in America?" asked Denki.

"This is starting to get confusing..." said Green Arrow. "Hold on a second..." He then touched his ear. "Overwatch, have you heard everything?"

"Yes, I heard everything," said a woman's voice in the hero's ear. "I'm just as confused as you are at first, but then I remembered a message the Justice League sent a few days ago, though I didn't see it until now... It says that teenagers arrived from an alternate universe and are currently staying at the Titans Tower until they can find a way back to their own world."

"I didn't know about this..." said Green Arrow. "I should be checking my mails more often... So... these kids are from an alternate universe?"

"Alternate universe?" said Mei in confusion, as he was speaking English.

"Right," replied Overwatch. "We should contact the League about this. I'll try to call Cyborg."

"All right, and tell him to portal us to the Titans Tower," said Green Arrow. "If those teenagers are still there, then they probably know each other."

Green Arrow ended the call and told the students to wait. He told them what he was called, and the woman introduced herself as Black Canary.

Shortly afterwards, a blue portal opened up next to them, much to the students' surprise, and Cyborg came out. "Hey Green Arrow!" he said to the archer. "So these are the teens you found?" When Mei saw the mechanical appearance of the newcomer, she became interested.

"Yeah," said Green Arrow with a nod. "Think you can take them to the Titans Tower and also tell the League about this?"

"That's what I came here for!" Cyborg told him. He told the students to follow him, claiming that he was going to take them to meet people they know. The students wondered who he was talking about, and though they hesitated to follow him at first, they eventually did so when Green Arrow and Black Canary assured them that Cyborg is a hero as well and therefore could be trusted.

The Class 1-A students were hanging out in the Titans Tower, each of them in their own rooms and trying to pass time until they felt like turning in for the night.

They then heard an announcement from Starfire, telling them to come to the living room to meet a certain group of people. Curious, the students headed to the living room, where Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven were at the moment.

"Who do you want us to meet?" asked Ochako.

"It's better that you see for yourself," Starfire told her.

The door leading into the room opened, and Cyborg came in, with the students following him. Needless to say, both sides were surprised beyond words to see each other.

"Kaminari! Ashido! Hagakure!" gasped Izuku.

"Hatsume! And even Hado senpai!" said Momo with widened eyes.

"Midoriya! You guys! You're all here?!" said Denki in shock and happiness.

"Wow! I didn't expect to see you at all!" said Mina happily. Mina, Toru, and Ochako ran to hug each other.

"You're the missing classmates! What are you doing here?" asked an equally surprised Nejire.

"We want to ask you that as well," said Shouto.

Izuku noticed Green Arrow and Black Canary, immediately becoming surprised. "You... You're the heroes Green Arrow and Black Canary from Star City! Wow! What a surprise!"

"You know about us?" asked Green Arrow.

"Yes! I've looked up on the heroes of this world when I came here, and I read about you!" Izuku said to him with sparkling eyes. "The internet says you have no powers, right? You're very good at archery and unarmed combat, even capable of taking down villains with powers by yourself!"

"Yep! I'm that good!" boasted Green Arrow.

"And you, Black, Canary! Your power is Canary Cry, a powerful screaming attack!" Izuku said to Black Canary.

"You sure did your homework!" commented the female hero.

"Can someone explain to us what on earth is happening?" asked Toru. "I'm totally confused!"

"You're never going to believe it!" Eijiro told them.
