Chapter 2
Meet the Justice League
After Cyborg contacted Batman and Martian Manhunter, the former turned his into an arm cannon and pointed at the air before himself to create a blue portal that he walked through afterwards. The students noticed that the portal looks more or less the same as the one that brought them here, though they didn't say anything about it.
A few seconds later, he came back out with a man dressed in a black bat-like costume. At around the same time, a green humanoid stepped out a tunnel seen at one side of the room, even though it was a dead end within the tunnel.
Izuku was thrilled to see more heroes appearing. A sense of fear appeared on him when he saw Batman, however, as the bat-themed hero had an intimidating glare, and the costume itself was rather unnerving to look at in that it resembles more of something a villain would wear. Just by seeing the bat motif, Izuku was already making his mind busy, wondering if he has bat-related powers.
"These are the otherworldly visitors you told me?" Batman asked Superman, sounding rather intimidating, and the latter nodded.
"I see... They are Japanese, so there will be communication problems," said Martian Manhunter, observing the students. "All right, this will take a second." His eyes then glowed, and that was when the students felt strange feelings inside their heads. It was almost like someone was touching their brains, albeit in gentle massage-like way.
"What the...? I feel strange..." commented Eijiro.
A few seconds later, Martian Manhunter asked them, "Can you try speaking English now?"
That was when students who previously didn't know English realized that they could perfectly understand what he was saying, not to mention speak perfect English themselves.
"I can speak English now!" said Eijiro in surprise.
"It no longer sounds broken!" said Ochako happily.
"Is that your Quirk? Making other people learn different languages instantly?" Izuku asked Martian Manhunter.
"Quirk?" said the hero curiously.
"I think it's time for explanations before things get even more confusing," said Superman. "Kids, from what I remember, you said you were doing training at night at a school called U.A. When you encountered villains we are familiar with, your fights with them caused you to go through portals they came out of, thus bringing you to this place, right?"
"Yes, that is what happened," Tenya said to him. "Judging from what I've seen so far, this is undoubtedly America."
"I can't believe my first trip overseas would be such a way!" said Eijiro.
"Are you all pro heroes? It's strange I have never heard of you before, and I keep track of several heroes in the world," Izuku asked the heroes. "Judging from what I've seen, you seem to be very famous, so that makes things even weirder..."
Superman looked at Cyborg and nodded. The latter understood what he wanted to say, and then he shined green light on the students in a manner that looks like he is scanning them. When finished, he looked at the results on a holographic screen and said, "Yep, this confirms it. They are from an alternate universe."
"Alternate universe?" said Momo in confusion.
"Have you ever heard of the multiverse theory?" Superman asked them.
Tenya nodded. "I have heard of it. It is theory among scientists that there exists several different versions of the world out there, each one created from different decisions made in life."
"That's the gist of things, but what you said is actually parallel universe," the Flash told him. "They are worlds that, while similar, has differences that can be subtle or big. For example, a universe where there are evil versions of you people, or a world where, like, Neil Armstrong isn't the first person on the moon."
"And then there are alternate universes, one where the differences are so big that sometimes they have almost nothing in common with each other and may not even be Earth," continued Cyborg.
"You're saying all this because we are in... like... a different universe?" asked Shouto, who was having a hard time believing what he heard.
Superman said, "Yes, Cyborg here has just confirmed things after scanning your bodies. People from different universes have different vibration frequencies, and all of you have different ones than us."
"We're in a completely different universe?! How is that possible?! This idea is supposed to be just a theory!" said Tenya in disbelief.
"I can't believe it!" said Ochako.
All the students were in shock and disbelief that the concept of the multiverse would turn out to be true and that they would experiencing it firsthand themselves. Izuku was the most excited, as this means an entire world of whole new heroes unheard of to him was ready for him to find out more about. The superhero geek in him was making him explode with excitement any second.
"This is unreal...! A whole new world! A new set of superheroes!" said Izuku, trying to contain his excitement, as evident of his trembling.
"Here we go again..." grumbled Katsuki, noticing his reaction.
"How are you taking this so easily?" Shouto asked the heroes.
"Dealing with alternate universes is nothing new to us," replied Green Lantern. "In fact, some time ago, we had a bunch of female visitors from another universe, and then some time after that, we traveled to a parallel universe to fight... evil versions of ourselves."
"And before the latter happened, some of us also went to a world with battleships in the form of human girls!" said the Flash.
"Evil versions of yourself...?" asked a confused Momo.
"Battleships in the form of human girls...?" said Ochako in confusion.
"Some other time," said Batman sternly.
"So how about we introduce ourselves?" suggested Superman. "First off, we are the Justice League, the world's most famous group of superheroes that deal with situations going on all over the world!"
"So you are superheroes, and an organization at that!" said Momo. "And did you say you deal with problems all over the world?"
"Yes," said Wonder Woman. "Our base may be in America, but that doesn't mean we only resolve situations in this country. It doesn't matter where it is, as long as there are people in need, we go there to help, even if we have to go to space."
"We even perform hero duties in space? Wow! That's awesome!" commented Eijiro.
"Yep! We're that good at getting everywhere!" said Green Lantern.
"Then allow us to introduce ourselves!" said Tenya. "We come from a world where 80% of the world's population have superpowers known as Quirks. Because of the abundance of Quirks, many people have decided to take up being superheroes as an occupation."
"Yeah! People become rich and famous from being heroes and saving lives! It's a dream job that many people love!" said Ochako.
"Wait... Being superheroes is an occupation there?" asked the Flash in surprise.
"Why yes," replied Ochako. "Isn't that the case here?"
"We don't make profit from being heroes," said Batman, sounding rather... displeased.
"You don't? Then... how do you earn income?" asked a confused Ochako.
"You see... Things work differently here," Superman told her. "In this world, there are no such things as superhero occupations or schools where you obtain licenses and whatnot to become one. All the heroes here, when not saving lives and fighting crime, have ordinary jobs and live like normal people."
"Then am I right in saying that this makes you all vigilantes?" asked Fumikage.
"You can say that," said Wonder Woman. "It is true that when we first started out, the public and law enforcers didn't really approve of us, but eventually, they came to accept us for the good deeds we did, so much that the government has now approved of us and let us do things as we see fit, as long as we do not cause too many problem."
"Maybe except for Batman, because from what I know, the law enforcers in his city don't really like him because of his violent and gloomy tendencies," said the Flash.
"They'll just have to deal with it," replied Batman.
"So anyone can just be a hero by simply having powers?" asked Shouto.
"You can say that," said Cyborg. "As long as you do a good job, nobody will complain. Except villains for obvious reasons..."
"I like the sound of that already! Now I can go out there and wreck villains' shits without having people telling me to stop because I don't have licenses or whatnot!" said Katsuki, sounding glad.
"So you all have to go to schools to learn how to be heroes and obtain official licenses in order to do hero work?" Superman asked them.
"Yes, as fighting crime without licenses will make you a vigilante and criminal, thus making you wanted by the police," Izuku told them.
"Considering that superpower is common in your world, I guess there has to be a way for the government to keep a check on things, so that makes sense," said Wonder Woman.
"You seem to be imply powers aren't common in this world," pointed out Fumikage.
"That is indeed the case," said Superman. "People with powers aren't that common in this world, much less those born naturally with them. Most people with powers, which are called metahumans here, get their powers from freak accidents or experiments."
The students couldn't believe what they heard. Due to the fact that they grew up in a world where getting powers naturally is the standard, hearing that the people of this world got powers through external means surprised them. Izuku couldn't help but be reminded of the way he got his Quirk.
"That aside, the Justice League is basically a vigilante group?" asked Momo.
"Like we said earlier, the government is cool with us, as well as the public, so yeah, you can consider us vigilantes, ones that are fully accepted by the people!" said the Flash.
"We do not take orders from the government, as we do not trust them to make use of our powers properly, but that doesn't mean we do not cooperate with them nor do we disrespect them," said Superman. "So long as there are people who need help, we will always be there to save them!"
Having grew up in a society where being a superhero is an occupation that requires official acknowledgment, the students were surprised that this was not the case in this world. Katsuki thought this was great, as he no longer had to be held back due to not being considered an official hero, while some like Momo and Tenya were wondering if this was actually a good thing, letting people with powers go around and be heroes whenever they wanted to. Ochako was still having a hard time accepting that heroes in this world aren't paid for their work and instead had to find other ways for getting income.
"It must be tough having to find a balance between being a hero and a normal person doing everyday job, isn't it?" asked Ochako.
"We're used to it," said Superman. "It does get tough at times, having to come up with excuses at work so that we can leave to save lives and fight villains all of a sudden."
"You sound like you keep your identities as heroes a secret," said Shouto.
"Right, we do that in order to make sure villains do not find out who we are and so target our loved ones," said Green Lantern. "And you're implying that you don't in your world?"
"A few heroes do keep their identities a secret, but for the most part, a hero's identity is public knowledge, as the government has vowed to keep them safe," explained Tenya.
"That's dangerous and reckless," said Batman, not approving of what he heard. "If you want to be a hero, then you must have what it takes to keep the people you care about out of harm's way. Letting the world know who you are is basically asking for a death wish!"
"No have to be so strict, Bats!" the Flash said to him while patting his shoulder. "It seems like their world knows what it's doing. If they have been doing this for a while already and nothing bad has happened, then I'm sure everything is all right!"
"Right, there hasn't really been any cases, at least serious ones, of villains targeting heroes' families," said Tenya.
"Hearing this actually made me worry about my mother a bit..." said Izuku.
"All right, before we go on, I want to know more about you," said Batman. "If all of you are heroes in training, then you have powers, right? Mind sharing the details?"
"Right, we should," said Tenya. "I am Tenya Iida, and my Quirk gives me engines on my feet that lets me run incredibly fast!"
"So you're a speedster, huh?" said the Flash with interest. "And you have engines on your feet? As in car engines?"
"It does resemble motor engines," said Tenya with a nod.
"So you're basically a cyborg?" asked Cyborg.
"It grew naturally, so I wouldn't say so," said Tenya.
"Strange... Never heard of machine growing out of flesh naturally..." said Cyborg, sounding interested.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya! My Quirk is..." He then remembered about keeping the truth of his Quirk a secret, so he came up with something else. "...Super Strength! I can channel energy into different parts of my body to get power boosts, allowing me to hit harder, lift heavy objects, move faster, and jump higher!"
"Sounds a bit different from the usual super strength, what with the energy thing you said," commented Superman.
"I'm Ochako Urarako," said Ochako. "My Quirk lets me cancel out the gravity of things I've touched to make them lighter or float into the air. I can even change my own gravity to move faster and jump higher! I will throw up if I overuse it, though..."
"Sounds fun! I mean the changing gravity aspect, not throwing up..." said Green Lantern. "Doesn't sound like a nice drawback to have..."
"I'm Shouto Todoroki," said Shouto. "My Quirk allows me to create ice and fire."
"That's not something you see everyday! It's usually either one or the other," said the Flash. "I'm sure the fire and ice heroes in the league will be interested to know this!"
"I'm Eijiro Kirishima! I have a defensive Quirk of hardening myself!" said Eijiro, and he hardened himself as a demonstration.
"A good defense is also a good offense!" commented Wonder Woman.
"I am Fumikage Tokoyami," said Fumikage. "My Quirk is Dark Shadow." In saying this, Dark Shadow came out of his body, surprising the heroes.
"Whoa! That thing lives inside you?! And it's sentient?" asked Green Lantern.
"Indeed, Dark Shadow has its own consciousness," replied Fumikage with a nod. "He is more powerful when in the dark, but if it gets too dark, he can get out of control and become aggressive."
"Then we'll have to keep an eye on that," said Batman, sounding cautious.
"And you have a bird head... Is that normal?" Cyborg asked Fumikage.
"Indeed, I am also a mutant-type. They are people with Quirks that alter their appearances, sometimes even resembling animals," explained Fumikage.
"Wow... Imagine waking up one day and finding out you no longer have your original face..." said the Flash.
"I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, and my Quirk lets me create anything inorganic from my body, as long as I know the components," said Momo, and she reached into her body and pulled out pencil as an example.
"Huh, that's unique!" said Green Lantern. "Sounds like a superior version of what I can, since my creations aren't actually the real things." Hearing this made Izuku curious about what the powers of the Justice League members are.
"I'm Katsuki Bakugo, and my Quirk is..." said Katsuki with a smug look, and then he generated pair of miniature explosions from each of his hands. "...Explosion!"
"Guess that explains the grenade-like gauntlets you're wearing," said Cyborg.
"I can tell that you have the kind of personality to go with that power as well," said Martian Manhunter.
"Okay, now that you've introduced yourself to us, then I guess it's only fair that it's our turn," said Superman.
"Please do so! I'm very curious about what your powers are!" said Izuku with enthusiasm.
"You should be more patient, Midoriya! You sound like you're demanding them!" Tenya lectured him.
"Right, sorry... I can't contain my excitement..." apologized Izuku.
"It's all right! It's always nice to meet people who are fans of heroes!" said Superman. "For starters... I'm an alien."
There was silence among the students for several seconds when they heard this, but then Izuku broke it. "An alien?"
"You mean as in life forms from outer space, another planet?" asked Fumikage.
Superman nodded. "Yes, I'm from a planet called Krypton, and I came here when I was a baby due to my parents evacuating me. The planet was exploding, so they tried to save my life by doing that."
"Your planet exploded?! Does that mean...?" said a worried-sounding Momo.
Superman's expression turned a bit sad. "Sadly, yes... My parents and pretty much my entire people died..."
"That's horrible! It must be really said to learn that you are the last of your kind..." said Ochako, who felt sorry for him.
"That's true, but I'm glad that my parents gave their lives for me so that I can live on, and to honor their wishes, I have chosen to become a hero and guide the people here to a better future!" said Superman, sounding happier this time. "And also, I'm not exactly the only one left. My cousin was also evacuated from this planet, and she's currently here on Earth as a hero as well, going by the name Supergirl."
"I saw you fly and freeze things with your breath," Izuku said to him. "What exactly are your powers? Does it have anything to do with you being an alien?"
"Yes, it has to do with my alien biology," replied Superman. "My kind absorbs yellow sunlight in order to obtain super strength, super speed, flight, heat vision, ice breath, x-ray vision, super hearing... Just to name a few..."
The students were amazed when they heard what his powers are. This was basically the same thing as a person with several Quirks at once. The only person from their world they could think of who has so many Quirks at once is the villainous All For One, and he got it from stealing them from other people.
"Incredible...! You have so many powers! You must be really powerful and manly!" said Eijiro in awe.
"I'm not trying to boast, but most people agree that Kryptonians are considered one of the most powerful beings in the universe when under the yellow sun," replied Superman. "I learned that Krypton has a red sun, which Kryptonians cannot draw powers from, so they are like normal humans when on their own planet."
"Superman isn't the only alien here," said Martian Manhunter. "I am a Martian, as in I came from Mars."
"There are aliens on Mars?!" said Tenya in shock.
"I can't believe it! Astrologists back in our world have concluded that there are no intelligent life forms on Mars!" said Momo in disbelief. "There is an entire Martian population on Mars here?!"
The Martian nodded. "Yes, there is an entire Martian population on Mars. All Martians have the same power set of telepathy, super strength, shapeshifting, phasing, and Martian Vision, which is essentially the same thing as Superman's heat vision, shooting beams out of our eyes."
"All Martians are like that?! That would make them as powerful as Superman and his kind!" said Eijiro.
"Martians are indeed considered powerful enough to give Kryptonians a run for their money, but we are also generally peaceful beings who avoid violence as much as possible," replied Martian Manhunter. "Therefore, our civilization is a safe place to go to, even though everyone has such powers. And while I do admit that I read your minds a little bit to clarify what you said, I did not pry into the deepest secrets that you do not wish to let others know. Still, I apologize that I did this without a warning beforehand..."
"It's all right. I'm sure you know what you're doing," said Momo.
"I can't believe that not only do aliens exist here, they can also become heroes on Earth!" said Shouto in disbelief.
"This is a world where anyone can be anything!" said Wonder Woman. "As for me, I am Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman. I am an Amazon, offspring of the Amazon Queen Hippolyta and the god Zeus."
"Amazon?! Zeus?! As in the ones from Greek mythology?!" said Tenya in shock. "Zeus is real in this world?!"
"Yes, as well as all the other Greek pantheons," replied Wonder Woman.
"If you are Zeus's daughter, then that would make you a goddess, right?" asked Ochako.
"Partially, because my mother is an Amazon," replied Diana. "Even so, I have been blessed with the divine gifts of super strength, speed, and flight." She then showed them the lasso she previously used. "And this is the Lasso of Hestia, which can make people say the truth."
"Sounds like something police interrogators would love to have," commented Shouto.
"And that was the Invisible Plane I used to bring two of your friends here earlier," continued Wonder Woman.
"That was indeed something bizarre..." said Katsuki. "Imagine forgetting where you parked it..."
"And I'm the fastest man in the universe, the Flash!" said the Flash proudly while pointing to himself.
"Right, we saw you moving incredibly fast, so much that we can't see you move at all," said Shouto.
"Exactly how fast are you?" Tenya asked the speedster.
"How fast I am? Well...?" said the Flash before running out of the room in a blink of an eye. Before any of the students could say anything out of amazement, he returned about a second later with a bag containing canned sodas, which he gave to each of them. "Is that a good enough demonstration? The store I went to is about a 10-minute walk from here, mind you.
"You ran there, paid the clerk, and came back all in one second?! That's incredibly fast!" exclaimed Izuku.
"And that's not even the fastest I can run! I can run faster than the speed of light!" boasted the Flash.
The students' jaws dropped upon hearing this. While speed-based heroes weren't unheard of back in their world, one who can run faster than light is nonexistent and even considered impossible, yet this one...
"I can't even to begin imagining how fast that is..." said Momo.
"That's so manly and fast! You can get anything done in a blink of an eye!" said Eijiro in awe.
"This puts my speed and my older brother's speed to shame...! I can't think of any heroes from our world who can move as fast as you!" said Tenya in awe.
"I'm Cyborg," Cyborg said to the students. "I know, it's not the most creative name, considering I am literally one... I didn't really care about being a superhero at first, so I didn't seriously come up with a name, and now it's sort of stuck..."
"So you're part machine and not just someone wearing armor on your body?" Ochako asked him.
Cyborg nodded. "Yes, these mechanical parts are part of my body and cannot be removed. I used to be a normal person, but then I almost died in an accident, so my father, who is a scientist, made me like this in order to save my life. I didn't like it at first, because I thought it made me look like a monster and also derived me of my dream of becoming a football player, but now I've come to embrace my new role as a member of the Justice League!"
"Good to hear that things worked out for you!" Momo said to him.
"With this new body, I am capable of manipulating anything based on technology, especially the internet," said Cyborg. "From searching data to all over the world to activating machines from afar, none of those are impossible for me!"
"You're like a living computer! That's incredible for a world we live in that heavily relies on machines!" said Izuku in awe.
Fumikage then looked at Batman and said, "If I have to guess from your appearance, I would say that you have the powers of a bat, creatures of the night and shadows!"
"I don't have powers," said Batman bluntly.
The students were once again in silence like when they heard Superman calling himself an alien, and Izuku once again broke the silence. "You don't have powers...?"
"No," replied Batman again, bluntly.
"Not even basic ones such as enhanced strength, speed, and senses?" asked Momo.
"No, none of those," replied Batman.
"Then how do you fight villains?" asked Shouto.
"I trained to fight a lot, and I also use gadgets," replied Batman.
"You're kidding me!" said an unbelieving Katsuki. "How can you accomplish anything without powers?!"
"Batman may not have powers, but we all agree that he's the most important member in the Justice League, and perhaps even the most dangerous!" the Flash said to him. "No offense on calling you dangerous, Bats..."
"It is indeed true. Batman does not have powers," Superman told the students. "He is still a very important member of our team, and he is more than capable of defending himself even without powers. I dare say he's one of the most powerful normal humans on Earth!"
"You seriously don't have powers of any kind and simply trained your butt off in order to fight villains?! That's manly!" exclaimed Eijiro with sparkling eyes.
Meanwhile, Izuku was as if he was staring into blank space while saying, "No powers, but is a hero... No powers, but is a hero... No powers, but is a hero..." He repeated this over and over.
Ochako looked at him and then waved her arm in front of his face a few times. "Are you all right...?"
Izuku returned to his senses and then said, "Sorry... I was trying to absorb what I heard just now... I... I can't believe that there is a hero without powers of any kind...!"
"That's something unheard of in your world?" Green Lantern asked them.
"Right, heroes with no Quirks don't exist in our world, as far as I know," replied Tenya. "Every single hero has a Quirk of some kind, otherwise they won't be able to stand a chance against villains."
"Of course they wouldn't! Quirkless people are piss poor weak!" said Katsuki. "They may be able to handle common thugs who don't have Quirks, but those with Quirks... Yeah right!"
"Someone is arrogant, huh?" said Green Lantern. "Whether you believe it or not, heroes with no powers is considered a norm here, with some of them even capable of going against powered foes with little problem. I myself do not have any powers, but rather, I get my powers from this ring." He showed them the green ring he is wearing on his index finger.
"So you used that to create all those green objects when fighting that villain?" Momo asked him.
"Yes, this is the Green Lantern Power Ring, a ring of alien origin belonging to the Green Lantern Corp, which you can say is a space police force run almost entirely by aliens," explained Green Lantern. "This ring allows me to create whatever I want with just a thought, as long as I have strong willpower."
"A space police force run by aliens...! This world is insane!" said Izuku in awe.
"So you're a normal person without that ring?" Ochako asked Green Lanter.
"Indeed, though I am an air force pilot, so I do have some knowledge in self-defense," replied Green Lantern.
"That's an improvement over this Batman guy. At least you have something that lets you fight like you have powers," said Katsuki.
"Someone needs to teach this kid to be humble..." said the Flash, and then he looked at Batman. "How about you show him what you are capable of, Bats?"
"That's a waste of time," replied Batman.
"You're just scared that you will lose against me!" Katsuki taunted him.
"Bakugo! You shouldn't say such rude things to him!" Tenya lectured him.
"I do agree that this child needs to learn a thing or two," agreed Wonder Woman.
"I am very curious about how Batman can win against someone with powers," said Momo. Izuku said the same.
Batman thought about it for a while and then said, "Fine, I'll give you a demonstration. Do not blame me for consequences. And I'm not doing it to prove a point."
"All right! I'm going to show you why you are inferior!" said Katsuki while punching his palm, and Tenya lectured him again for his rude remark.
The heroes then went into a different room that was large and empty, which according to them is where they do combat practices. Batman and Katsuki got to their positions, while everyone else watched from the sidelines.
"I can't wait to see what Batman can do! I still can't believe he is a hero without any powers!" Izuku said in his head with excitement.
"That kid is going to be put in his place!" Green Lantern said with enthusiasm.
"Ready or not, here I come!" said Katsuki as he began to run towards Batman, but the moment he made a move, the latter threw a batarang at him so fast that he didn't see it coming and got hit in the forehead. "Ow!" He looked at the projectile that fell onto floor angrily and then ran at Batman.
When close, he launched an explosion at Batman, who swiftly stepped to the side before rushing at Katsuki, seemingly putting something onto his shoulder. Katsuki turned to him and was suddenly zapped all over the body.
"What happened to Bakugo?!" asked Izuku in surprise.
"Batman probably put an electrocuting device onto him just now," replied Green Lantern.
When the electricity disappear and Katsuki was still trying to recover from it, Batman thrust his palm into his chest hard, forcefully knocking him on his back. "Did I get the message clear?" the vigilante asked him.
"Like hell! I haven't even gotten serious yet!" said Katsuki as he got up and fired explosions at him again, only for him to jump to the side fast. The teenager then approached him to attack with his fists, but Batman kept on dodging them as if he knew where they were going to hit from.
Batman eventually caught him by the arm and then forcefully flung him to the side. While Katsuki was still in the air, Batman hurled a couple of batarangs at him that exploded into smoke on contact.
"They exploded! Isn't that dangerous?!" asked Tenya.
"Knowing Batman, he surely used smoke bombs that aren't lethal," replied Superman. "Relax, Batman may be rough, but he knows when to hold back."
Katsuki fell out of the smoke and coughed, and when he stood back up in anger, he was hit by something that Batman threw at his body. The object suddenly released strings that wrapped themselves around him, binding him tightly. "Hey! What the heck is this?!" he asked in shock while trying to break free.
"You can't break through that with force alone," Batman told him while approaching him. "Stand down. The match is set."
"Fuck you! It's not over unless one of us is on the floor badly bruised!" Katsuki angrily said to him.
"It's finished whether you like it or not," said Batman as he turned to leave. Katsuki attempted to use this chance to hit him with a flying kick, but Batman saw this coming and turned around to grab his leg before hurling him in a random direction, making him hit the floor with his face.
"All right, that's enough!" said Wonder Woman. "Batman is the victor of this match!"
"I can't believe Bakugo lost to someone without powers!" said Ochako in disbelief.
"Batman is good!" said Eijiro. "That was a manly fight!"
"THERE'S NOTHING MANLY ABOUT THIS!" Katsuki yelled at the redhead in response.
"I can't believe it! Someone without a Quirk managed to defeat one with a Quirk! I can't believe this is real!" said Izuku with sparkling eyes. "So it is possible for the Quirkless to win in a fight against those with Quirks!"
"Now you know that even if you do not have powers, you can still be a hero, so long as you have the right heart and the right skills," Superman told the students. "Like I said before, Batman may not have powers, but he is undoubtedly the most important member of the Justice League. It's thanks to him that the League is able to exist to this day!"
"I will never underestimate Quirkless people again!" said Eijiro. "I would even love to spar with a Quirkless hero myself!"
"I'm sure there are some other non-powered heroes out there who are willing to give you a spar!" said the Flash.
"You have several more Quirkless heroes?!" asked Izuku in surprise.
The Flash nodded. "Sure! Green Arrow, Nightwing, Wildcat... Just to name a few..."
"Wildcat has powers," Batman corrected him.
"Wait? He has? I thought he's just a tough boxer!" said the Flash in surprise.
"They don't have much use in combat, so you wouldn't know," said Batman.
"They... He has more than one power?!" said the Flash, even more surprised. "What are they?"
"Find out yourself," Batman told him.
"Question! If you have non-powered heroes, then do you have non-powered villains as well?" asked Tenya.
"Yes, there are villains with no powers too," replied Wonder Woman. "That doesn't mean they are weak. In fact, some of our most dangerous adversaries do not have powers."
"Then you must be piss weak to not be able to do something about them already!" said a still salty Katsuki, who had been freed from his bondage.
"You shouldn't insult them like that!" Tenya angrily said to him. "There must be a good reason those villains are dangerous!"
"All right, let's talk about how to get you home," said Batman. "Do we know how our villains got to their world in the first place?"
"I've interrogated Tattooed Man, and he says he received a package from an unknown sender containing a small round device with a single button on it, along with a message saying that it will open up a portal for him to somewhere he can rob to his heart's content," said Green Lantern. "It also says it's one time use. The device exploded afterwards, leaving behind nothing."
The other heroes said to same about the villains they interrogated. "So we just have to find out who the sender is," said Batman.
"If they do not know, then reading their minds will not do," said Martian Manhunter.
"How are you going to send us back home anyway?" asked Momo.
"Simple! One of the things I can is open up portals to anywhere in the universe, including other dimensions!" replied Cyborg.
"That's useful!" commented Izuku.
"But I need to know the coordinates, and this can be tough to pinpoint when searching for alternate universes," Cyborg told him. "It's basically searching for a needle in a haystack, or rather, the entire planet's ocean! I've obtained data when I scanned you just now, so give me some time to process it and look for your world."
While the students were sad that they couldn't return home immediately, they were also glad that they got to get more time to know the heroes of this world, especially Izuku.
"So where they going to stay? The guest rooms of this place?" asked the Flash.
"No, they'll be staying with the Teen Titans," replied Batman.
"Teen Titans?" said Green Lantern curiously.
"Our faction of young heroes came up with that name recently," explained Batman.
"That sounds like a good idea! Since they are all closer to each other in age, they can surely have fun keeping each other company and learn from each other!" said Wonder Woman in agreement.
"We're going to meet heroes our age? That's great!" said Ochako excitedly.
"They're already fighting villains at our age?" asked Tenya.
"Yes, they're pros and are almost as good as us! I'm sure you will like their company!" Superman told him.
This sounded exciting and also unbelievable to the students. They were still in-training and not allowed to fight crime by themselves, yet there are teen heroes in this world who are already fighting crime as if they are professional licensed heroes. The thought of meeting them soon excited them to no end.
