Chapter 42 - CHAPTER 42: HOW I BECAME THE DEMON KING PART 7

Meanwhile, in the quiet morning hours, Finn walked from stall to stall, a bundle of apology letters and a pouch of coins in his hands. The vendors, still setting up for the day, greeted him warmly. "Ah, Young Master Finn! What can I do for you today?"

Finn handed them the apology letters and the coins, his expression sincere. The vendors' faces showed surprise, then gratitude, as they read the letters and saw the compensation. "Bless you, Young Master Finn... thank you for makin' things right."

The vendors patted Finn on the back, offering him a nod of respect and a few words of praise. "You're a good one, Young Master Finn. Your parents must be proud." Finn smiled slightly, feeling a mix of relief and humility. He nodded, then continued on to the next stall, repeating the process. The morning sun rose higher as he made his rounds, leaving a trail of goodwill in his wake.

as he was making amends for the destruction he had caused, completely unaware of the turmoil unfolding at his home.

After he had finished, he met up with Aria and decided to show her around town – his favorite fishing spots, the village green where kids played, and the sweet spot with the best blackberry bushes. Aria's seven elvish bodyguards lurked in the shadows, unnoticed by the townsfolk. The two five-year-olds giggled as they chased after butterflies.

After they had their fun for the day, they decided to return home to Sixton Manor, laughing all the way, talking about the fun that they had. The elvish bodyguards trailed behind, keeping a discreet distance. As they approached the manor gates, Finn's parents were waiting with a mix of relief and amusement, having heard about Finn's earlier exploits.

Franklin and Amber smiled seeing Finn return home with Aria. But before they could say anything, Emily rushed forward, wrapping Finn in a bear hug. "Finn, my little Finn, I missed you! Did you miss your big sis?" she exclaimed. Finn was a little shocked, eyes wide with surprise. Aria giggled at the sight, and the elvish bodyguards exchanged amused glances in the shadows.

Finn's face lit up as he stared at Emily, "Big Sis Emily, you're here. Does that mean...? before he could finish" Frederick stepped from behind Franklin, grinning. "That's right, Finn! We're all here!" Finn's eyes sparkled as he ran to his siblings, hugging them tight. "You brutes! You all forgot about me!" he exclaimed, laughing.

Finn's six siblings held him tightly in a warm embrace for a few minutes. Then Alexander said, "We heard that you took Destroyer out and destroyed half the town." He said with a laugh. Finn shook his head and said, "No. His name's not Destroyer. It's Brutus."

Then Sophia had a smile on her face. "So Finn, are you gonna introduce us to your little girlfriend?" Finn shook his head and said, "No. Aria's not my girlfriend. She's just a friend." Aria smiled and stepped forward, introducing herself as Arianna Starkloak, the third princess of the Elvin Kingdom. "But you can just call me Aria" She said with a smile.

After hearing what Aria said, Frederick stepped forward, a big smile on his face. "Pleasure to meet you, Third Princess of the Elvin Kingdom. I'm Frederick Sixton, and this is Alexander, Lucas, Michael, Emily, and Sophia. And we're the Sixton Six from the Kingdom of Elmon.

It's nice to meet you all. Aria said with a smile. "So Aria, when are you and little Finn getting married?" Sophia asked, teasing.

Aria's ears turned bright red as Sophia teased her. "I..... I.... I mean... Me and Finn are only 5 years old!" she stammered, looking mortified. The Sixton siblings burst out laughing, and Finn's face turned red again, "Sophia, stop!" he exclaimed.

"Anyway, the reason we are here is to train you, Finn," Frederick said with a serious tone of voice. "So, does this mean I can become a knight or a mage like you guys?"

Finn's eyes widened in pure excitement! "WOOAHAHH! YES! I wanna be a KNIGHT !! he pump his little fist in the air"

''Okay then. Starting from tomorrow you shall become an apprentice knight. Frederick said with a smile."

"Also we will teach you some healing and defensive magic." Sophia chimed in.

Finn was beaming. "Yes! I'm gonna learn magic and be a knight!"

Just then Aria stepped forward and asked, "Would it be okay if I also train as well? I would like to become a mage."

Emily looked at Aria and smiled. "Sure, I'll take you on as my apprentice. But be warned, my training will push you to the limit. Is that okay with you?"

Aria smiled and nodded frantically. "Bring it on, I'm an elf.

Aria's enthusiasm was infectious. "I'll make sure to keep up, don't worry!" she added, her ears twitching with excitement.

Emily chuckled. "Alright then, let's get started tomorrow. We'll begin with the basics of elemental magic."

but just then Lucas stepped forward, narrowing his eyes, slightly gripping the hilt of his sword. "Princess Aria, are those seven people, in the shadows with you? Because they've been following you and Finn from the time you got back here." He asked.

Aria nodded with a smile. "Yes, those are my personal bodyguards." She said.

Lucas added with a smirk, "Oh okay then,

They're lucky, because if they weren't with you, I'd have dispatched them all."

From the shadows, Matthew, the head bodyguard, was stunned. "Impressive, he was even able to spot us while we were using our shadow technique."

He said with a smile to the other bodyguards,

"Well, it's to be expected, he's one of the Sixton-six from the kingdom of Elmon. Their reputation proceeds them." One of the guards, Hank, replied with admiration in his voice.

After everything was settled, Finn turned to his siblings and asked, "Hey, do you guys have time to play Castle Quest with me and Aria?"

They all nodded enthusiastically and rushed off to play, leaving Amber and Franklin outside, both wearing big smiles .

Later that night, they all gathered in the dining hall for dinner. After they finished their dinner, they all went to bed because they had a long day ahead the next morning.

Early the next morning, Finn's training began. His brothers, each a master in their own right, took turns teaching him the ways of their craft.

Frederick, the axe wielder, taught Finn the brutal art of chopping through defenses. "You gotta put your weight behind it, Finn!" he growled.

Alexander, The Archer, showed Finn how to find the perfect aim, his arrows flying true. "Focus on the target, Finn."

Lucas, the swordsman, sliced through the air, demonstrating finesse and speed. "Quick, precise, and deadly."

Michael, spear wielder, took Finn through the basics of keeping opponents at bay. "Keep 'em guessing, Finn."

Once Finn mastered these techniques, he'd move on to magic training with his sisters, Emily and Sophia, who specialized in various magics like healing and defense.
