The snow around him parted, giving way for Ralph to walk through the snow as he moved back up the mountain to the point he last saw Ash.
The last part he had contact with Ash before he leapt for the monster that suddenly came out from the bushes in agony. It was not clear what the beast wanted but it was obvious that it was running from the avalanche and just happened to see them along the way.
'Why did he take a risk like that! When I see him I'm definitely going to punish him. I just pray he's alright, I pray the gods protect him in some way and return him back to me safely…I'll serve them all through my life!'
His heart ached at the thought of something bad happening to Ash because of a mistake he didn't intentionally make. Actually, it wasn't his fault but seeing the situation he found himself in, he didn't know what to think.
