The tremors worsened, reaching high altitudes. He could feel his weight shift, making him feel light under the vibrations of the earth. He couldn't keep his body steady as each tremor felt heavier than the last, and the snow beneath his feet slid in response. If not for the tree he held tightly, he would have fallen down the mountain minutes ago.
He shifted his vision to Ash who kept his calm despite the ground shaking below them. His attention stayed concentrated in one direction but Ralph could not decipher why he remained so focus in that direction. "Ash!!" Ralph yelled, snapping him back to reality.
He turned to Ralph and tugged at his garment, pulling him in the same direction he was staring at but Ralph couldn't decipher anything Ash was trying to relay to him but from his behavior it felt serious. "What is it boy? Why are you so tense? What are you afraid off?" He called out, still gripping the tree tightly.
