Elena finally realized that Reginald had been kind and magnanimous to Anna, only because she had grown up beside him. Hence, he had faith in her and only thought of her scheming tricks as little tantrums. Besides, Anna had been manipulating and instigating others to deal with Elena. Hence, Reginald naturally did not know a thing about it and did not intervene. She was filled with a sudden mix of emotions.
Reginald sighed and said, "Elena, did you have something to do with Anna's current plight…"
He had recently been feeling guilty towards Elena. Just like what she had said, he had always been magnanimous and tolerant towards Anna and doted on her.
