Although Reginald had indeed felt angry and disappointed to see Anna plotting against Elena, he did not expect that the Waverly Family would be so heartless as to sever ties with her and even announce it on the newspapers.
Anna looked up at him coldly and sneered. "Mr. Ashford, what do you mean? Are you taking pity on me or showing me sympathy?"
It's all just hypocrisy. If he truly cared about me, why didn't he stop Elena from ruining my welcome ceremony?
Reginald frowned and said, "The fact that you're the adoptive daughter of the Ashford Family cannot be changed. It's only right for you to move back home."
Anna chuckled sinisterly and gibed. "You're making yourself so high-sounding. Aren't I just the Ashford Family's adopted daughter on the surface?"
She was utterly disgusted by the hypocrisy.
Reginald turned pale and asked with a frown, "Why would you think that way?"
