Synopsis
Imagine you suddenly reincarnated into your very own novel after you die. You would expect it be all sunshine and rainbows, me being the author and all. Unforunately, my novel was set on hell difficulty, matter of fact, higher than hell difficulty. A world where demons run rampant, humanity is barely holding on, and internal strife runs strong. This is the type of novel I wrote. The tragedy of a hero who lost it all trying to protect what he cherished. One thing I do know is that I will do anything in my power to survive in the world I created. ------

Chapter 1 - Seth Lothric My Beloved.

It was a ordinary morning. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and I was slaving away at my desk writing my novel.

What a exciting job to do!

"Journey of Hero," was the novel's name but I liked to call it journey of bums because of how much I hated my main character.

Now, I'm the author but that doesn't mean I have to like my novel. Now a days, everyone is feining for harem novels, steamy scenes, and everything in between.

Afterall, anyone who has to write about a guy getting head for the tenth time would get a little frustrated.

Gotta pay the bills though, am I right or am I right?

The story starts out in Ethrean, the land that humans currently reside in. Alan, the main character, gets accepted into royal academy called Ethrean Academy. Very unique I know.

You can guess what happens after that. He gets the attention of a bunch of girls, creates his harem, and sets out to defeat the demon king.

Of course, being the malovlent author I am, I plan to kill off the Hero and rid the joy of my viewers! You signed up for the tragedy tag, don't blame me.

Currently, Alan is at the demon king's castle ready to get absolutely pummelled but I haven't finished writing that part yet.

Why is that a big problem? Because there's a large semi-truck blasting it's horn at me and coming straight in my direction.

Not to mention that I'm on the third floor of an apartment building. No biggie though!

"Holy fuck." My breath quickens and adrenaline rushes through my body. I lunge to the side barely managing to dodge the truck.

"Not today you isekai motherfuckers!" I laugh out joyfully while pointing my middle finger at the sky.

A second horn sounds, even closer than the first time, and I barely have any time to react when I feel my body flung across the room.

In my last moments, I barely see the truck driver snickering. A man with black shirt, black trousers, and... no face!

I got fucking killed my slenderman. Slenderman of all people. Are you kidding me?

"Fuck, my head hurts." I muttered to myself as I opened my eyes. The first thing I noticed around me was the extravagent bed adorned with curtains. It looked incredibely expensive, and extremely comfortable I might add.

"Where am I?" A thought anyone would think after finding yourself in a random bed.

Standing up, I walked around and observed the room around me. Wooden cabinets, walls painted red, and the most noticable was the lack of objects around me.

"Extremely tidy..." While I won't say I am a unorganized person, I also wouldn't say I take good care of my surroundings either.

A window paired with curtains in the corner of the room caught my eye. I walked over to it and opened it seeing a vast field of green outside.

"What in the-" It was a beautiful sight. As I was admiring the view, my head started throbbing. Memories that weren't mine appeared and a wave of emotions rushed through me.

"Fuck. I am so fucked." I had entered my novel and entered the body of a third-rate villain called Seth Lothric. A fallen noble of the Lothric family. They gained their nobility during the first great war against the demons but ever since Seth's father became the head of the house, he racked up enormous amounts of debt ultimately leading the king to revoke their title with his father deciding to end his life.

Oh, that's right. This wasn't the first time humanity was in a war against the demons. In the past, the demon realm had invaded onto Earth conquering the land wherever they went. During this dark time, a hero had appeared who had the ability to become a incarnation of a god.

"Daniel Lightworth." The first hero and the person who managed to seal the demon king. His seal was strong, afterall he used his life force to lock the demon king away. Yet, it wouldn't last forever. It was slowly weakening over time and soon he would awaken, plunging humanity into another great war.

"Why couldn't I have entered some harem novel.." Wait, this was a harem novel. Fuck me.

If I wanted to survive in this world, I would need to get strong. Not as strong as the main character, but strong enough so that I can protect the things around me. I'll make sure of that.

"Seth was a swordsman if I remember correctly." Looking around, I spotted a sword held up on the wall. Below it was a scabbard to hold onto it.

I grabbed it and felt it's weight. Thankfully I had gotten Seth's memories so I knew how to use the sword. Swinging it felt almost natural, and I could feel the amount of effort Seth had put in to learning swordsmanship.

"Well, Seth has nothing to do with me anymore. All I need to do is make sure of my survival." Maybe Seth had a sad back story. His family might have fallen to ruin. Does that matter to me though?

"Nope. I hope you have a good afterlife atleast." A dead man has no wishes, although I'm not sure if this would classify as death. Given that his body is alive and possessed by none other than me!

The first thing I needed to do was find out the current date. Looking around, I found a phone on a wooden cabinet next to the bed.

This world was actually far more technologically advanced than Earth. Through war, humans were forced to innovate and progress faster just so they could survive resulting in ultra-fast trains, flying screens, and more.

Thankfully, I had Seth's memories so I knew the phone password and opened it easily.

Sunday September 12th

That meant there was only a week left until the academy enrollment where I would finally see the main characters for the first time.
