Chapter 265 - Chapter 265: Castle Smashing Runs In The Family!

Yang Xing's POV:

'Why are you making such a fuss about this? Can you not just let our daughter have her fun with her new hubby?'

"Chrystalla! You have no idea how cruel these types of men can be! Knocking up our baby girl was just a pretense to take her away from us by force! It's just the kind of thing this type of dirtbag might pull to force a woman into becoming his! If we are lucky, that letter was just a lie, and he hasn't gotten there just yet!"

'Pft!'

"What's so funny?"

'I am well aware of how cruel people can be! What I find funny is that you think our daughter would actually go along with this kind of thing!'

"What are you talking about?"

'Even if she somehow got pregnant against her will, there is no way she would stick around after the fact, if she did not at least like the boy!'

"Who said she has a choice! He is probably holding her against her will!"

'*Giggle*'

"You are way to calm about this!"

'Well, unlike you, I actually want grandchildren! Plus, I think married life might do her some good! She was pretty restless the last I saw her, so this might help her slow down and unwind a bit!'

'I am starting to think I really did go mad, and you really are just a voice in my head.'

"HAVE YOU GONE MAD?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHOSE PALACE THIS IS?!" An angry old man shouted at me as I used my aura to blast my way through the gates.

"Move it!" I said, running my radiance armor on full power, burning anyone who tried to touch my body.

After the meeting where I was told of my Nox's situation, me and my mother had rushed off to save my daughter from this playboy, despite the rest of the family trying to stop us. After figuring out that Nox had been held captive in that fancy pink prison, I rushed ahead of my mother, burning through anything that stood in my way as I frantically searched for her.

*Smash*

"NOX!!!"

I eventually found her, being pinned down on a bed and about to be sullied by that dirtbag.

"HEY, GET OFF MY DAUGHTER YOU FOOL! CAN'T YOU SEE SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT?!"

"Hm? Oh, if it isn't father-in-law! Are you finally ready to give us your blessing?" The bastard said in a light tone as I watched my poor daughter struggling to get out of his grip.

"YOU WISH! NOW GET OFF MY DAUGHTER DIRTBAG!" I screamed as the only thing stopping me from blasting this guy out of existence was the fact that Nox was still in the line of fire.

Suddenly, as I was about to try and pry that dirtbag off her, a bunch of guards tried to jump me, only to get their hands burned off upon touching my 3rd stage aura.

*Screaming Guards*

"Hehe! Even though the rice is already cooked you still won't accept us, father-in-law?"

"Hm?"

"YOU'RE FULL OF IT! YOU THINK I'D BELIEVE THIS DRIVLE?!" I screamed as I threw the piece of paper this bastard had sent us, only for my daughter to snatch it out of the air before it hit his face.

After reading through the letter, she looked up at the bastard and said.

"You dick!"

"Hm? What is that my lovely wife-to-be! Are you feeling ne-!"

*Bang*

*Gulp*

*Puff*

Before that dirtbag could even finish his sentence, she threw something into his mouth, then punched his jaw shut. Soon after, his body made a sudden jolt, before letting go of Nox as a puff of smoke came out of his mouth.

"SERVES YOU RIGHT! Now, let's go home! Papa is going to let you ride on-!"

Just as I was about to let my daughter enjoy a piggyback ride on her father's draconic back as we ran back home, my mother came to steal my thunder, as she quite literally tore the roof off the building, along with the floors above us.

"NOXY! GRANDMAMA IS HERE TO SAVE-! HUH? Wait, where is my cute little granddaughter?!" She said, not recognizing her granddaughter at a glance.

To be fair, I have never seen Nox decked out in this much jewelry, not to mention she has grown abnormally tall since we last saw her. She is almost as tall as me now. Mother has a habit of hyper focusing on things that are small and cute, so that might be why she doesn't recognize her at a glance.

'Well, there is that, and the fact she is not a dragonewt with an inbuilt detector for blood-relatives!'

'Oh, right! I almost forgot, only dragonewts have that ability'

'Also, vampires!'

'Ha, ha! You're not gonna fool me with that! We both know vampires aren't real!'

'*Giggle*'

'Anyways, Nox is blocking us from using that ability on her, so it doesn't count!'

"She is-!"

"MOTHER! THIS IS NOX!" I shouted to my mother, before she flew off to go look through the rest of the building.

"Damn it! A flaw!"

*Swoosh*

The moment she processed my words, she bolted down in front of Nox at an incredible speed.

"Back! Get back I say! You foul creature! I refuse to become your furry pet again!" Nox said, as she tried to shoo my mother away with her shoe.

It was only after I was treated to another round of my wife's creepy and headache inducing laughter that I recalled the kind of traumatizing effect my mother has on children. My mother has always had an obsession with small and cute creatures, to a dangerous degree. I still recall how she nearly killed my nephew Feng just by hugging him so hard she broke both his arms and some of his ribs. If there was one perk from having so little free time in my childhood, it would be not having to be smothered by her in my every waking moment. However, I had forgotten this fact at some point after Feng grew too big for her to smother. Nox, who is currently being backed up against a wall, might not realize she is now safe from those hugs given her current size, which would explain why she seems so terrified of her.

"Hey, I'm too big for those costumes, so back off!"

*Sigh*

"Why'd you have to go and get so big! Well, whatever! Let's get the hell out of here!" My mother said, as she seemed depressed over how big she has gotten.

"NO! I'll never go back to that doll hell! SMOKE BOMB!"

"HEY, WHAT THE!?"

Unfortunately, Nox seemed to not have caught on to my mother's disinterest and threw something on the ground that created a smokescreen that covered the entire room in an instant. Fortunately, the smokescreen disappeared almost as quick as it came, as the dirtbag playboy blew it away with his incredible qi pressure that had me staggering, even with my aura protecting me. The playboy finally wiped that relaxed smile off his face after the smoke disappeared along with Nox. Even without our eyes, immortals like my mother can easily track someone's movements, so the only one effected by this smokescreen was me.

"Mom! Go grab Nox while I hold this guy off!" I said, as I was probably the only one here who didn't see where she went.

Even if we have an earth immortal like my mother on our side, we might be in trouble if we stay here for much longer as the playboy alone is already a threat on his own. I already heard of how he managed to keep up with my mother, so I know I can't beat him in my current state, but at least I can hold him off until they get away.

'You really need to get your eyes checked!'

"Hm?"

"So, did anyone see where she went?" My mother asked.

'Both of those two have the words, 'where did she go?', written all over their faces.'

"Wait, what?"

'Our daughter has always been incredibly good at hide and seek! I still remember the first time we played! She had just barely learned to walk and speak, but I still needed to pull out the crocodile tears to bring her out of hiding! Turns out, there had been an old hidden escape passage in the room which she had crawled into!'

"That does not explain how she managed to sneak past an immortal's senses!"

'Hm? Oh! It could be her aura, or it might be spirit magic! She has more ways of hiding herself, but these are the most likely! Also, you're speaking out loud again!'

"Oops!" I said as I noticed the concerned gaze my mother was giving me from the side.

*sigh*

"Everything is fine! She won't run away this time! So, it is fine!" I heard the dirtbag mutter to himself as he started recomposing himself.

"Well, I guess there is only one thing left to do!" My mother said, before she appeared in front of the dirtbag.

*BOOM*

"IT'S TIME FOR SOME PAYBACK PLAYBOY!!!" I heard her shout after punching that guy through several walls.

Seeing what she was about to do, I quickly transformed into my dragon form to fly out of there, only to catch a glimpse of something rushing towards us.

"AI! XING!" My father shouted as he approached us in his dragon form.

Most likely he came here to try and stop us from storming this place, but he was too late.

"NOT NOW SNOOKUMS! I HAVE A SCORE TO SETTLE!" My mother said as she just tilted the upper half of this palace she had been holding up before throwing it down on the guy she just punched.

*BOOM*

*RUMBLE*

"THAT WAS FOR SOCKING ME IN THE FACE WITH A GOD DAMN RAINBOW!" She shouted after burying him under a mountain of rubble.

'That settles it! She definitely got her violent side from your side of the family!' My wife said after we watched my mother smash half a castle on to the dirtbag.

"AI! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! WE CAN'T AFFORD TO MAKE ANY MORE ENEMIES, ESPECIALLY THIS PERSON!" My father shouted at my mother.

"NEVER MIND THAT! WHAT ABOUT NOX?! SHE COULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT UP IN THAT!" I shouted as I was worried my precious daughter might have been hiding over in that pile of rubble.

'Doubtful! Unless there was something important here, she probably left the building before your mother even punched him! Hm?'

"Stop your yapping! My intuition is tellin me my granddaughter is fine, so calm down! Also, I just can't stand it when some arrogant schmuck comes into my house, acts like he owns the place, then leaves scot-free!"

*Pop*

*Cough*

"I would hardly call the state my Noxy left me in by the end as me getting off 'scot-free'!" The dirtbag said, as he appeared in front of us through a spatial distortion.

His body was covered in dirt, there was a bruise on his face, and there was a light trickle of blood coming out of his mouth, but aside from that, he appeared completely fine.

"Tsk! Back for another round?" My mother asked as she looked ready to throw down again.

"No, no! You were simply upset at our last encounter, correct? How about we call it even!"

"Oh, you chickening out, playboy?" My mother said, trying to provoke him into making a move.

"Hehe! This great lord would like to keep at least some off his capital intact!"

Seeing he had no intentions of fighting my mother lowered her guard, only to grab something out of thin air, causing the space around her hand to distort.

*Gag*

In her hand was the throat of a red skinned man in black armor with two black horns protruding from his forehead.

I recognized what this man was right away. He was a demon-kin. Similar to how we, the dragonewts are a mix between humans and dragons, demon-kin is a result of demons mixing their blood with humans, creating hybrids between humans and demons. Their characteristics can vary even more than that of dragonewts, but they all share one commonality, they all possess this demonic presence unique to the demon race we call Demonic Aura. It is hard to describe exactly what it feels like, but if I had to try, it would be something between the feeling of being slighted and killing intent. Like they want you dead but treats the task of killing you beneath them, making it both intimidating and insulting at the same time.

"Nice try, douchebag! I almost believed your little act too! Too bad I noticed your little goon hidin in between the dimensions!" She said, as she threw the demon-kin at the dirtbag, before readying an attack.

"Damn it Yami! You could have not picked a worse time to intrude!"

*BOOM*
