Chen Jing's POV:
I have been a fool. When I first saw her holiness, I had mistaken her nature as that of evil. Like a devil, she brought untold temptations, with catastrophic consequences to any who dared fall into her trap. I myself fell victim to such cataclysms, as I was tied up, covered in paint and launched into the sky, but it is only now that I recognize her true intent.
Where there is good, there must also be evil, light can only exist because there is darkness, like yin and yang, my lord must have his counter to balance the world. He is the one who shall lead us to the promised land while she is the one who punishes those who dare go astray. She is the devil who tests our faith by offering us the path of evil, only to punish us once we give in to that temptation.
"Come on! You know you want to! Just a single one!"
"No, I shall not fall to your temptations! My faith in his holiness decisions will never waver again!" I spoke, showing my resolve to not fall for the temptation of her captivating paintings and sculptures.
"Okay, you drive a hard bargain! I'll drop the price by 10 %!"
"I refuse! Now is there anything I can get you, oh holy mother! I have brought you only the finest clothing and accessories for you to peruse! I have also ordered for various clothes to be made for the holy child! If it pleases you, I would like to hear your opinion on them!" I said as I handed her the sketches I had Sir Wong make.
While I would never dare entertain the idea of there being a flaw to his holy lordship's body, but there was this one thing that had me worried. Namely his lack of interest in women. At one point I entertained the idea he might just have a preference for the body of man, but that was soon overturned as I watched the males who threw themselves at him with the same thoughts be turned to ash or sent to the frost palace, just as the women. While I do see why he might have a distaste for lesser beings such as us mere humans, somewhere deep in my heart, I lamented not being able to serve his majesties progeny, but that sorrow I had buried deep down was soon unraveled by his majesty's sudden interest in the devil.
At first I had opposed the idea, believing the forces of evil had corrupted his mind, to lead his majesty into ruin. As such, I had tried my best to sway his thoughts away from that devil, by presenting him with the best young ladies on the continent with the help of Sir. Fuji, but then a most wonderous thing happened.
*Bonk*
"AAAAAAAA!"
I was enlightened then cleansed of all sins by the holy mother who shall bear his majesty's child. It was only then that I realized the error of my way. She was not a source of evil, she was merely another divine entity such as his holiness, and the only woman worthy to carry his spawn. After my enlightenment, she deemed me worthy of serving her holy will while preparing for the coming of the new messiah.
"Hm? Fine! I'll drop it to 50%!"
"…!"
"If you buy it now, I'll even throw in this live sized statue for free!"
"Forgive me your majesty! I cannot resist!" I said as I could not stop my hands from reaching into my wallet.
"Hehe! pleasure doing business with you!"
I know this will no doubt come back to bite me in the future, but I am only human. I cannot resist the temptations of such grandeur, especially when it is of none other than the object of my worship. And so, I would lose the fight against my own sinful desires, before returning home with a new collection of art that must never see the light of day, lest I may be banished from paradise once more.
