The giant alloy walls of the awaken academy came into view. The walls were comparable in size to the tries within the twin's nightmare.
They had to make a quick stop at the front gate to verify their IDs. However, with a quick flash of Justin's ID. They were in.
Driving in, the roads changed to stone. Looking around both Anderson and Zena saw scaffolding and half finished buildings.
"Ah I see you've noticed the ongoing construction. Although the academy is used by all it is still new. But due to sleepers being sent to the dream realm every year, the higher ups wanted this place open as soon as possible." Justin noticing the two's stares explained.
Soon the PTV came to a stop. Getting out, Justin started heading to the main entrance of the building.
"You two are very quite aren't you"
The twins nodded.
'Like seriously, a normal sleeper would be asking hundreds of questions. This silence is killing me.'
However, luckily for him they reached the front desk.
"Hey Melisa, I got two new sleepers for you. Can you get them set up for me I got probably another weeks worth of work to get done by the end of the day."
"Oh Justin, of course. You should head out its already 6 in the afternoon."
"I know that's why I am in a rush. By tomorrow I will have another weeks worth of work. Anyway, this is Anderson and Zena, they are twins, so treat them well." As he finished his sentence he started walking back out the front entrance.
As Justin left, Melisa turned her gaze to the two. "Hello, I am Awakened Melisa. I will be taken care of you if you need anything during your stay in the academy. Give me a second and I will get each of you a room."
Hearing this Zena spoke up. "Um, is it possible we can share a room. We have lived like that all outlives."
Melisa glanced up at the two and spoke. "Typically most people can't share a room. However, usually they are not related so I can get the two of you a room. However, the two of you will be in the mix gender hallway, is that ok for the two of you?"
Anderson responded, "Yes that's fine."
With that Melisa handed over two key cards and a map. "You both get a key to the room and a map so you can get around. You two should go to the cafeteria first though as dinner is about to start. To get your food just scan your key cards."
Just like that Anderson and Zena started walk. Anderson holding the map.
"What in the world is the layout for this place. You would think the cafeteria would be between the training areas and the dormitories, but no they are in the corner of the campus. While the dormitories and training areas are on the exact opposite side."
"Your right, even us, two teens form the outskirts, could see the flaws of the layout. Lets hope someone on the construction team sees it to or the future sleepers would also have to deal with it. I guess its good that the main entrance is next to the cafeteria cause I am starving." Zena holding her stomach complained
"Well your wish is about to be fulfilled cause we are here." Anderson quickly opened the heavy door.
In the cafeteria there were quite a few people in there, around 70 or so sleepers. All of them split into different groups. However, one group stood apart. In the middle of the group, a girl with unnaturally blond hair seem to be leading the conversation with a huge smile on her face.
Anderson blinked, 'I can take a guess on who the legendary Smile of Heaven is.'
Leaving his thoughts alone they continued to look around the room. There was one more larger group and the rest were much smaller than the two big groups.
Once they were done looking they walked over to one of the many lines within the cafeteria.
After waiting a while, they got their food. I was a strange looking piece of bread with a piece of meat between it. With it there was a yellowish mash of something on the side of their trays.
While the two were looking at the unfamiliar food they walked to the conner of the room that had the least number of people. Even though they wanted to sit alone their were no spots left that would let them so they sat next to a black haired girl who seemed to have a proper air around her and at the same time a sense of hatred for something.
As they ate Anderson and Zena talked about the classes they planned to take.
"Zena as I said we need to focus on four classes: combat training, nightmare creature biology, and the general education class."
"But why do we need the education class its not like we will use any of it in the dream realm."
"Do you really think they have that class here if it won't help us in the dream realm. Plus it might help us understand the nightmare creature's powers. Just like those stories of tigers help me predict how tiger like nightmare creature would attack. Maybe if you listened to those stories you would have had a better attack against that thing."
"Ya, ya. You already told me. I know, I was carless then. But I was more focused on that wolf that was chasing us. I hadn't expected to get attacked going up since it seemed everything like all the other creatures were going up too."
"I guess, but from the little you have told me about your aspect. It doesn't seem like you will have that thought again."
"What, you want me to hunt any fallen demons we encounter from now on and not run for our lives."
"Well I didn't mean like that. I meant you will be the one causing the nightmare creatures to run, if what you told me about how your aspect works is true. In the future you will be a great hunter."
At that moment an unfamiliarly voice asked, "Excuse me, but are the two of you talking about your nightmare? Aren't the first nightmares by yourself?"
