"And prove it to everyone right here… TO ME!" Nova's final yell crashed through the Sovereign Hall before slowly dying into silence, her finger still pressed against her own heart, wet purple eyes locked stubbornly onto Razeal's as though there was nobody else left in the entire room.
Razeal stood opposite her just as still, his face cold, that strange darkness within his left eye making his stare almost frightening, yet neither of them moved. For those few seconds, they seemed completely trapped inside each other's gaze Nova breathing hard, waiting for an answer, Razeal's jaw clenched as countless words seemed to rise behind his lips without a single one coming out. Then another voice slammed down between them.
"ALRIGHT! THAT IS ENOUGH!" Nerrisa's reprimanding voice shook the silence apart.
"What are you both doing?!" Her platinum eyes moved sharply between them. "You both look like children right now! At least look around and understand what kind of situation we are in!"
