Zephan;
There's a spot on my wrist that keeps aching.
It's not a wound. I've checked. I've pushed up my sleeve at least ten times since this morning and stared at it till I got an answer, but I got nothing. Just plain skin, the same as it's always been.
But the ache is real. A dull little pull right under my skin, like someone far away is holding the other end of a thread...and getting tired.
I caught a glimpse of Elien's wrist yesterday. The mark is fading...And so is my connection to Elian.
I don't need anyone to tell me. I can feel it going, a little more every day. The mark is thinning out, and the bond behind it is thinning with it. And the worst part is that I can't seem to be able to do anything about it.
I lean my forehead against the cold stone wall of the corridor and close my eyes as everything crashes down on me again.
Two people. There were two people.
