I freeze when Koda walks into the room. He brought soup.
It isn't a small bowl of soup... It's a pot. A whole, steaming, palace-kitchen pot, carried carefully in both hands, with a loaf of bread tucked under one arm and a spoon sticking out of his pocket.
"The cook said you'd want broth," he says, kicking the door shut behind him. "I knew you'd want everything."
"Alpha Koda, that's enough for six people." I managed to speak through my shock, but he smiles kindly.
"You're eating for two." He corrects, and I just blink at him. I know bears eat a lot. As per their culture, when their partners are pregnant, the Alphas let their omegas nest while they provide everything else. Including mountains of food.
But I'm not from the bear clan. I...I can't eat that much. And worse, I don't have Elián's appetite.
"A-Alpha Koda, I can't eat that much." I inform him, trying hard not to panic, cause what do I do if he insists that I finish the whole pot??
