''Beyond the Eyes of the World,,
As afternoon slowly began to cross the threshold into evening, the heat of the sun was no longer as intense as before. A gentle softness of evening began to settle over the golden sands of the desert. With the moving wind, grains of sand would rise from one place and scatter somewhere else. It felt as though the desert itself was moving to some unseen melody.
Ramish and Richer walked slowly toward the bikes, their steps falling into rhythm with each other.
After a few moments of silence, Ramish looked at Richer.
"Richer, should we take separate bikes and have a race?"
Richer shook his head with a faint smile.
"No. We'll take one bike… and ride together."
Ramish looked at him for a few moments.
Richer's answer felt like a hidden wish from Ramish's own heart, suddenly appearing before him.
He smiled, took a bike, and sat on it before looking toward Richer.
"Come on, Richer. Get on."
Richer climbed onto the bike and sat behind Ramish.
Ramish turned his head and looked at him.
"Hold on to me tightly so you don't feel afraid."
Richer laughed.
"You just ride carefully. Don't end up getting scared yourself and screaming."
Ramish laughed as well, started the bike, and the very next moment, it sped across the desert sand.
Strong gusts of wind began striking their faces.
After they had gone some distance, Richer said somewhat nervously,
"Ramish… be careful. We could get hurt."
Ramish replied with a laugh,
"Richer, let go of your fear for a little while. Just hold on to me tightly."
Richer immediately wrapped both arms around Ramish.
The bike sometimes climbed toward a dune before descending again, sometimes turned right, and at other moments suddenly swerved to the left.
Ramish called out,
"Richer! Let go of your fear and enjoy the ride!"
Richer closed his eyes for a few moments.
He took a deep breath.
Then, as though he were telling himself that today, instead of being afraid, he had to live in this moment.
Slowly, he straightened himself, placed his hands on Ramish's shoulders, and a few moments later, stood up on the moving bike.
He stretched both arms out into the wind.
At that moment, he was neither a famous actor nor a man carrying the weight of everyone's expectations…
He was simply Richer.
A Richer who, after years, finally felt free.
As the bike raced across the desert, his clothes and hair fluttered wildly in the wind.
There was a kind of happiness on his face that did not look like a practiced smile.
He was genuinely happy.
Ramish saw him through the mirror, and an indescribable sense of peace settled into his heart.
After a few moments, Ramish slowed the bike and said,
"Richer, now you drive. Let me enjoy the ride too."
Richer looked at him in surprise.
"Okay."
Ramish stopped the bike.
Richer moved to the front and sat in the driver's seat, while Ramish climbed on behind him.
Ramish asked mischievously,
"Richer, you do know how to ride a bike, right?"
Richer looked back at him with a faint smile.
"Hold on to me tightly… or you might get scared."
The very next moment, Richer moved the bike forward.
Ramish wrapped his arms around him and rested his head near Richer's shoulder.
For a few moments, they rode in silence.
Then Ramish suddenly said in a playful voice,
"Richer… I'm getting pretty scared."
Richer burst out laughing.
"What are you doing, Ramish?"
Ramish continued teasing him.
"I'm really very scared."
Richer slowed the bike down.
"Are you actually scared, or are you just messing around with me?"
Ramish smiled and held him even more closely.
"If you're going to ride this fast, of course I'm going to be scared."
Richer grabbed Ramish's hands and tried to move them away.
"If you keep doing this, how am I supposed to ride? What if I start teasing you like this too? Will you still be able to ride?"
Ramish immediately replied,
"I'll still be able to ride."
Richer looked at him mischievously.
The next moment, he suddenly straightened himself, turned around on the bike, and sat facing Ramish on the tank.
Looking directly into Ramish's eyes, he said,
"Then drive. Let me see how you manage to ride like this."
Ramish stared at him for a few moments.
Then he leaned slightly forward, started the bike, and pulled Richer closer to him.
The bike began moving across the desert sand once again.
But this time, Richer's eyes were not on the road.
He was quietly looking at Ramish's face.
The wind passed between them.
Playfully, Richer moved even closer and wrapped his arms around Ramish.
He could feel the warmth of Ramish's breath so close to him.
For a few moments, Richer closed his eyes.
He felt a strange sense of peace.
Perhaps he was not trying to understand why this closeness felt so good to him.
He was simply feeling it.
Ramish, too, was enjoying those moments.
For several moments, the bike continued moving through the desert.
People passing in the distance were watching them, but it was as though neither of them cared.
They were living in a world of their own.
A world where there was no fear of separation, no burden of questions about the future, and no urgency to search for their answers.
There were only the two of them.
And a quiet closeness between them.
But then Richer's eyes fell upon the people around them.
He noticed that some eyes were still turned toward them.
For a moment, that old fear returned to his face.
He said quietly,
"Ramish… stop the bike."
Ramish immediately noticed the change in his voice.
"What happened?"
"Please, stop the bike."
Ramish immediately slowed down and brought the bike to a stop.
Richer got off and stood silently for a few moments.
Then he came back and sat behind Ramish again.
"We should head toward the Desert Safari now. Come on, Ramish. Let's go back."
Before starting the bike, Ramish turned around and looked at him.
"Richer… you're okay, right?"
Richer replied with a faint smile,
"Yes, I'm fine."
But Ramish knew that Richer's smile was not revealing the whole truth of his heart.
He turned the bike around and began heading back.
Once again, the wheels of the bike began leaving their marks across the desert sand.
Richer quietly held on to Ramish.
But a question still remained restlessly alive in Ramish's heart.
Would Richer ever be able to step beyond people's eyes, his fame, his fears, and all those restrictions?
Would he ever find the courage to consider the voice of his heart more important than the voice of the world?
And above all…
Would Richer ever be able to accept the love that Ramish carried in his heart with so much hope?
The desert evening was slowly growing darker.
And ahead of the two of them, there was still a long and unknown road left to travel.
