As she pressed the high-quality silk fabric meant for a corset, Selina heard the doorbell ring twice. She froze, glancing at the wall clock, which struck seven p.m. Her gaze slid toward the door, wondering who it was.
Setting the electric iron carefully aside, Selina moved from her spot and strode out of her room. As she reached the door, Selina creaked it open, revealing the young man with the warmest smile she had ever seen.
