"How could something like that happen so easily at the company? I thought a corporate office was supposed to be a sanctuary for the staff," Eloise asked, her voice tinged with genuine confusion.
Selina nodded, her expression hardening as she followed Eloise's logic. Her sharp, calculating thoughts were already moving three steps ahead.
Annabelle looked up at Selina, recalling her brief, hurried meeting with the security guard. She had bumped into him midway to the security room, desperate to gather the critical details before she left the building.
"I know you'll need evidence to punish that pervert," Annabelle said, her voice dropping with visible frustration. "So, I questioned the guard I came with. He told me there was no CCTV footage of what happened. The cameras in the restroom weren't working. Not even the ones in the corridor. But strangely, every other camera in the building was functioning perfectly."
