Chapter 93 - Thanos vs. Yuki

"Um... Miss Galacta?"

Yuki watched the dazed Galacta and called out curiously.

Only then did Galacta snap back to reality, her face flushing with embarrassment as she quickly scratched her head.

"Ah! Sorry, Mr. Yuki, I got a little lost for a moment."

"Hehe, I understand. It happens to every woman who meets me," Yuki replied with a light laugh.

"Mhm, mhm, mhm! Mr. Yuki really is incredibly handsome. Even I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw you!" Galacta lowered her head shyly.

Hearing this, a faint smile appeared on Yuki's face.

"By the way! Mr. Yuki, are you still a student?" Galacta then asked, a unique gleam in her eyes as her gaze closely followed Yuki.

"Mhm." Yuki nodded gently.

"Don't let appearances fool you. I'm actually only 17, still a first-year in high school," Yuki said with a slight curve of his lips, revealing a fact that left Galacta stunned.

"Huh?!"

Upon hearing this, Galacta's expression was one of utter astonishment.

Theoretically speaking, Yuki's age was incredibly young, both by human standards and compared to her own. Using Galacta's age as a benchmark, Yuki's 17 years would be equivalent to a time before she was even born.

"Alright, age isn't important. What matters now is dealing with the situation at hand." Seeing Galacta lost in thought again, Yuki quickly reminded her.

"Oh, oh, oh! Right, right! I almost forgot!"

Prompted by Yuki, Galacta finally remembered the purpose of summoning him here: to save her father and the entire Marvel universe.

"So, what do we do now? Should we approach stealthily? Do we need to come up with a plan?" Galacta then asked about Yuki's strategy.

Hearing this, Yuki couldn't help but shake his head.

"No, that won't be necessary anymore."

As Yuki finished speaking, he snapped his fingers. Instantly, Galacta felt the scene shift around them.

When she regained her bearings, she found herself and Yuki standing in an endless expanse of starry space.

Before them stood a figure whose body shimmered with cosmic starlight, his face that of a withered skull. Though his appearance had drastically changed, his attire was reminiscent of Eternity's own.

However, based on his form, it was unmistakably the Mad Titan Thanos, infamous across the cosmos for his madness!

With Thanos' current level of power, plans and schemes were utterly useless. The only option was to confront him directly with strength.

Facing the enemy who had harmed her father, Galacta's expression grew vigilant. Her purple uniform materialized instantly, and the cosmic energy ray emitters on her back extended like the tentacles of an octopus, all aimed at Thanos.

"Thanos, release my father now!" Galacta shouted sternly at Thanos.

It was hard to imagine that the former suitor of Death had ascended to such heights, reaching this pinnacle so silently.

"Daughter of Galactus... you should not make such demands of a Supreme Sovereign." Thanos's skeletal face bore eyes that glowed with red light as he glanced indifferently at Galacta.

"Don't you know my father represents the balance of the cosmos?! If he dies, do you have any idea how catastrophic it will be for the universe?!"

Facing Thanos, even knowing that a mere wisp of his aura could annihilate her, Galacta felt no fear. She bravely challenged him.

"I know. That's why I absorbed him."

"I actually sympathize with your father. As an embodiment of cosmic balance, he is yet compelled to submit to his hunger."

"Reduced to the Devourer of Worlds, driven endlessly by hunger to consume planets."

Thanos looked deeply at Galacta, his gaze profound as he spoke slowly.

"In a way, I helped him."

"By absorbing him, I allowed this being, who should have perished in the Sixth Cosmos, to return to Death itself!"

"And the cosmic balance he represented will now be upheld by me."

"He no longer needs to remain a puppet of hunger."

"So, haven't I done him a favor?"

Thanos's words left Galacta momentarily speechless.

Undeniably, some of what Thanos said held a twisted logic. But the price was far too great—it cost her father his very life!

"Let's set aside the matter of Galactus for now."

"But you've absorbed every abstract entity, and even OAA's avatar, AAO. Aren't you afraid its true self will return for you?"

"With your current strength, even with the Reality Gem, facing OAA's true form would be difficult, wouldn't it?"

At this moment, Yuki spoke up calmly.

The moment he entered the Marvel universe, Yuki had already used his omniscience to understand everything that had transpired, even clarifying the relationship between AAO and OAA.

Currently, OAA's true form had already departed from the Marvel universe. Before leaving, it had created an avatar, AAO, to oversee the cosmos.

The Reality Gem was something created by AAO, which was later seized by Thanos, who used it to absorb the true essences of all the abstract entities in the Marvel universe—including OAA's avatar, AAO.

Yuki couldn't help but admire Thanos's audacity. Without knowing whether OAA would return, he dared to take such a reckless gamble.

Although Thanos, as the One-Above-All, now possessed power transcending the omniverse, AAO was merely OAA's avatar. OAA's true self would undoubtedly be far stronger.

If OAA returned, Thanos's fate would be sealed: death.

"You..."

When Thanos turned his gaze to Yuki, his eyes instantly flickered with disbelief.

He couldn't see through this outsider who had suddenly appeared in the Marvel universe—not his past, nor his future. It was as if he didn't exist within the flow of causality, making it impossible for Thanos to grasp any information about him.

This was the first time since becoming the One-Above-All that Thanos had encountered such a situation. In the infinite multiverse, anyone who appeared before him, even if they weren't from the Marvel universe, would have their past and future laid bare before him.

"Who are you?!"

"Why are you so... anomalous?"

Thanos spoke, his tone filled with astonishment.

Even Galacta, seeing Thanos's shocked reaction, couldn't help but turn to Yuki with a look of surprise.

At that very moment, countless figures suddenly materialized around them.

Leading them was a being whose form resembled Eternity's—a vast expanse of cosmic stars, colossal in size, but with a single eye where a head should be. Surrounding this being were countless figures clad in black armor.

"Thanos! You truly dared to consume Eternity and the others... and even that Sovereign?!"

Yuki and Galacta turned to look at these newcomers.

They immediately recognized them.

The leader was the First Firmament, the original universe of the Marvel cosmos.

The black-armored figures accompanying it were its creations—Celestials. Unlike the multicolored Celestials of later ages, these were loyal to the First Firmament, its devoted servants, known as the Dark Celestials.

But that wasn't all. Alongside the First Firmament and the Dark Celestials, another group arrived.

They wore high-tech metallic suits, their appearances bizarre and varied. Across the cosmos, they were known by a formidable title—the Beyonders.

On another side stood two more figures: Thanos's brother, Starfox, and his companion, Pip.
