Il Ji awoke to a very panicked sister. As the high-powered water hose struck him repeatedly in the face, Il Ji once again heard his sister's screams.
"IIIILLLLLLLL JIIIIIIIII! COME BACK TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
Wet, awake, and very, very cold, Il Ji ran to comfort her.
"It's okay, Laila, I'm alright!" He shouted, hugging her.
As she held the hose to the side, she hugged him back and then replied shyly. "Brother, you're wet."
"Can you turn the hose off?" Il Ji wryly replied.
"Yes!" She dropped it to the floor and ran off to turn the valve. Her arms and legs akimbo, she nearly slipped before righting herself and disappearing into the backroom.
As Il Ji got even more wet, he sighed. 'This girl…'
Luckily, the floor was built for it. To ease his time mopping, he normally just used the hose to clean it off. The small vents on the sides of the room directed the water flow, and small pillars kept the fixtures from getting wet.
'More important, though… How did I slip?'
After a few moments, he realized the truth. "Jackpot was climbing back up the stairs and had to use his tongue to keep balance."
As his sister returned, he gave her instructions. "Go upstairs and change into something warm. Hold the railing all the way. The third-to-last step is a bit slippery."
"In five minutes I'll come find you and we can eat and watch a show in my old room."
"Okay!"
As she dashed off, Il Ji sighed and grabbed the pizza. Taking it upstairs, he made sure to hold the railing himself.
This time, he didn't slip. Taking the pizza into his room, he quickly changed into his pajamas before bringing the pizz back to the other room.
He had replaced the decor of his old room with that of a living room. When they were kids, they had often hung out in there, so now that their parents were gone he had turned it into an office/hangout area.
Previously, their living room had been the store's backroom, but after moving it upstairs he had made room for the chickens, ants, and isopods.
A computer and desk set near the entrance. Next to it sat a giant blue couch. Across from that was a large tv.
"Il Ji! I'm here!" His sister showed up in her pink pajamas. "We match!" She shouted, excited.
Smiling, Il Ji kneeled to the ground and flipped open the pizza box. "My Princess. Your pizza awaits."
Thus said, he flipped the remote on the TV, and it began to open up to her favorite movie: 'Pretty Princess Snowtime Excursion.'
She shuddered with glee, accepted the box and snuggled up to him on the couch. As she ate her Alfredo Pesto Delight, he smiled.
Celebrations were to be celebrated.
Chewing the slice of Spicy Squid Extravaganza, he kicked back and watched the show.
For the record, Il Ji did watch most of it. But when it got to the part of the angry men promising to behave themselves and the 'great beauty' telling them they'd better watch out for her, he rolled his eyes and entered his soul space.
Il Ji believed that true beauties didn't need to defend themselves- the people around them saw the kindness in their heart, and let them be.
Willing himself to the top of his soul space, he tapped the golden-brown star above.

As Yin Kai went back to the real world, he took a glance at his sister. Luckily, she hadn't noticed. Scooping another slice of pizza, he waited for the inevitable jaw drop.
As the evil queen slapped the dog away, Laila's eyes opened… and her jaw hit the floor. "You're evil, Queen!" She shouted at the tv.
"Yeah she is!" Il Ji responded.
Laila smiled at him and took another bite of her pizza. Slowly savoring the taste, she looked on as the evil queen sent her guards to search for the young princess.
Once the show was over, Il Ji took a moment to put the uneaten pizza in the fridge and grab some dessert. After bringing it to his sister, they sat and continued their pajama party for several hours.
Eventually though, it was time for bed.
Settling her into her covers, Il Ji wished her goodnight and fell asleep on his bed. The day had been exciting, and he nearly had a hospital visit.
It was time for exhaustion to take over.
