Yeah, so... let me introduce myself.
The name's Kyouya Kanzaki. Twenty years old. My place is just a flat in Kabukicho, Shinjuku – you know, that neon-soaked part of Tokyo that never really sleeps.

I'm currently living alone, which is exactly how I prefer it.

My job now is "private investigator." Which mostly means I get to pick my cases, unlike before. Before that, yeah, I was a police detective.
And honestly, that was a grind. The endless paperwork, the mind-numbing bureaucracy, the constant stream of minor infractions that wasted precious departmental resources… it was like being stuck in a tutorial level for years.
My current gig as a PI offers something infinitely more valuable: flexibility.
