Uchiha Madara suddenly changed the tone of the conversation, mocking coldly:
"Now it seems Kronos was wrong about you. You're nothing but an overrated fraud with a flashy reputation!"
"I thought you were truly talented… but in the end, you're just a three-legged cat!"
In this world, the only person daring enough to insult a Marine Admiral like that was Uchiha Madara himself.
Everyone knew how terrifying a Marine Admiral was—figures so powerful that even the Pirate King would avoid them if possible. Any one of them possessed the strength to shake the world.
And yet, within the Kamui Pirates, a crew filled with monsters, such power meant nothing.
Kronos himself never took Marine Admirals seriously. Naturally, his crew followed the same mindset.
For Madara, an Admiral wasn't a threat—just another obstacle to be crushed.
Akainu's teeth clenched tightly, his face twisted in rage.
He had not suffered humiliation like this since becoming an Admiral.
Now, this shame burned deeper than his wounds.
At that moment, the Marine Vice Admirals, realizing Akainu's defeat was inevitable, stood forward with unshakable loyalty.
"Everyone! We must cover Admiral Akainu's retreat today!" one shouted.
"Even if it costs us our lives—we'll block Uchiha Madara here!"
Though they knew their strength was no match, they were determined to fight.
Akainu's chest tightened—not from wounds, but from sorrow and rage.
He hated his own powerlessness. That his subordinates needed to protect him…
If word of this spread, his prestige would collapse. Pirates across the seas would mock him as a clown.
But the Vice Admirals were thinking too highly of themselves.
How could they possibly stop Uchiha Madara alone?
"Susanoo!"
With a cold roar, Madara's Susanoo exploded forth with terrifying speed, a giant fist blazing like a comet as it charged toward Akainu.
The five Vice Admirals tried to intercept him—
but they were far too slow!
Boom!
Before anyone could react, the enormous fist smashed through their defense as if it were nothing, and struck directly.
That punch…
It felt capable of crushing the entire world itself.
Even Charlotte Linlin, known for her ironclad defense, wouldn't dare claim she could take it head-on.
And Akainu?
Already battered, his body at its very limits—he had no chance.
Boom!
The impact shook the sea itself.
Akainu coughed blood violently as his body was launched into the air, crashing down into the ocean with a thunderous splash.
For a Devil Fruit user, the sea meant certain death.
Once submerged, there would only be one outcome.
"Admiral Akainu!!"
The Marines cried out in horror. Desperation overtook them, and many soldiers leapt into the waves without hesitation, racing to rescue him.
If not for their frantic efforts, Akainu would have drowned on the spot.
