The world almost seemed to have fell into a monotone loop.
Everyone's schedule was the same, wake up, attend classes, train, eat and sleep.
The motionless training grounds were helping the students of Shrek academy with their soul power training.
In the underground motionless training grounds,
Liu Yan and Ying Xuan were performing their Dual Cultivation technique, the crystals naturally formed and molded in the area had their energy being drawn in by the two of them.
The energy of true nature crystals were much more potent, they stirred the ever increasing soul power in both of them.
Nearby were a bunch of younger students, they too were training, but also observed the two.
"Dual Cultivation technique is pretty rare, isn't it?"
"Hey, bro. How about we try it?" One of the younger students told his frind.
"I won't recommend it. It actually requires some form of good will towards each other to be effective. The romantic kind."
The two male students thought of what that means, before shivering in disgust.
"Senior Liu really is lucky though. Senior Ying is such a beautiful woman." One of them fantasised.
Whack
A girl hit him in the head, "you have me as your girlfriend and you still think that way!" She pouted and walked away.
"Eh, wait. Don't walk away like that, Xiao Ai!" The junior chased after the girl.
MuBai had been doing well in controlling himself. He truly wanted to be with ZhuQing, and wanted to change his past behaviour of being a pimp.
"Come on, ZhuQing. Just accept me and I'll make you the happiest person alive!"
Thud
MuBai was punched to the ground the moment his eyes wandered down from her eyes.
"Hmph, you're still a pimp." She moved her hair behind her shoulders and walked off.
MuBai laid on the ground defeated.
HongJun approached, "Boss Dai, how about we go to a brothel. Maybe it can cheer you up." He suggested.
Oscar was talking with RongRong in the garden,
"AAAAAHHHHHH! Save me, OSCAR!!" HongJun ran towards them, behind him was an angry MuBai, who was using his second soul skill constantly trying to hit HongJun.
"Get back here!"
Oscar instinctively stepped aside, but was pushed into the fountain nearby.
MuBai continued to chase him down.
As Oscar coughed out some water, he looked up and saw his dear RongRong looking at him.
She extended her hand for him to grab, she helped him out, before quickly letting go. Embarassed that she would so instinctively hold his hand.
Oscar was celebrating internally.
Xiao Wu however was the most depressed of the members.
She often sat outside waiting for Tang San to come back. A pitiful sight it was.
But she still had not slacked off. She used this need to see Tang San and vented it all into training.
The levels of the students of Shrek academy went up again and again.
Half a year had passed by,
In the cave motionless training ground,
Liu Yan and Ying Xuan sat there crosslegged, their fingers intertwined.
"Seniors, seniors!" A junior ran in, panting.
They both opened their eyes and got up.
"What is it, Junior Bai" Ying Xuan asked.
"The dean has asked for you two to go to his cabin. A person named Tang San is back" he finally got his breath and said clearly.
Liu Yan smirked, "well, I expected him to be back soon."
They walked out and stood still.
"You ready?" Liu Yan looked at her, which she responded with a nod.
Liu Yan created a crystal hoop around her waist, holding onto her. Before launching themselves into the sky.
The moment they reached the height, Ying Xuan unfolded her crystal wings, before starting to glide over to the cabin.
Liu Yan hung onto the hoop for a moment before he let go, creating a stale slide for him to skate on.
Skrrrr
A few minutes passed, before they finally arrived in front of the cabin.
Tang San and the others were already there.
He was talking with Xiao Wu, who held a red white flower.
"Treasured herbs! Wait… are there any crystal related ones for us?" He looked up at Ying Xuan who was slowly descending.
"Brother San! You're finally back!" Liu Yan greeted him kindly, he raised his hand.
"Liu Yan, you've gotten even stronger." Tang San understood, and they dabbed each other up.
"Just in time, here. Take this." Tang San handed him a special herb. It was black, shiny and it's leaves and petals were smooth and sharp.
"This is a Volcanheart Herb. Known for increasing the affinity with the world for the person who eats it. It's only ever bloomed if a flower were to be able to bloom in the mouth of the volcano during it's active period. But also stayed alive when the volcano died out and survived the freezing cold of the snowy peaks. Only then will the seed of the flower bloom a Volcanheart Herb." Tang San explained it's formation.
"I see. Brother San, I thank you sincerely for this." Liu Yan smiled and patted his shoulder.
"This is truly fascinating."
"It has a weird story of side effects, where the fate of one would be altered if it is taken. But it only ever happened twice. It must be false" Tang San thought to himself.
"Sister Ying Xuan, I prepared this for you. Known as the Velameth Nightbloom."
The herb was a beautiful shining purple. It reflected off the sunlight.
"It's… beautiful." She smiled and thanked Tang San.
