When the dust finally settled, only Ryuunosuke remained standing at the center of it all.
"Disarm."
He sheathed his longsword and immediately dispelled the invisible barrier.
"Captain, did you get it?" Merlin flew over at once, unable to hide the expectation in her eyes.

If races like that truly existed in large numbers, then when Lilith and Adam descended, it would not have been just one Great Kingdom resisting them.
"It doesn't matter where they came from, or what their real goal is," Roy said, voice sharpening.
"Now that they stand against us, we should think about how to eliminate them."
He turned his eyes toward Roger.
"Has Lilith still not recovered?"
At that moment, Adam spoke, calm as ever.
"Not yet."
"Lady Lilith's power was shared with us earlier. The purpose was to keep me from being detected."
"She won't wake up now. It isn't the final time yet."
Roger shook his head. "Not possible at the moment."
Roy's expression darkened.
"Then there may be another problem."
"Now that Laugh Tale's location has been exposed, a large number of pirates will definitely rush there."
"If we can't stop it, it will cause Lady Lilith's energy to be continuously wasted."
Anyone who stepped into the Black Valley would receive Lilith's legacy.

"Are you sure you only want Imu's body?"
"You don't want your own anymore?"
From Roger's perspective, how could anyone not prioritize themselves?
Roy claimed he wanted to take back Imu's body, but in reality he had been using Imu as an experiment.
No one knew what would happen once the original contract was dissolved.
In Roger's eyes, Roy was the kind of scoundrel who would gamble on anything.

"Me?" Roy's gaze softened.
"My body is this body."

"I don't want that sickly body I had back then. I want this one now."
"We've been together for hundreds of years."
"The relationship between men and women faded a long time ago."
"So is it really necessary to go back to that body?"
"I'm strong enough now to help you, Brother Roy."
"If I could get my original body back, then…"
