The next target of Hana's index finger is a pair of Arcanines, who are both maned dogs with mildly bristled-up thick fur at both their back feet, while their whole body has orange fur with black slit accents all over; of course, Anthony's focus is on their very fluffy tails that have some Growlithes hanging on them while the two waved them around calmly. Furtheremore, Anthony also noticed that they are the most sirene out of all the Pokemons that almost suffocated him with their harsh love.
"These Arcanines, alongside their puppies, are given to us by the Officer Jennies in the Police Station in our district to look out for temporarily because their ranch is yet to be expanded. We have a 1-year contract with a guaranteed 1 million Pokedollar and 100k Pokedollars for every egg they lay. These 2 and their puppies are one of the reasons why we're able to afford 3 elf trucks as well as a private gym, and not to mention the partnership with a toy company. Of course, there's part of the profit that was invested in the stock market; who knows, we may be able to become majority owner of some company in the future."
Anthony nodded at this, though he fears that his mom seems to have become a little too business-minded, which he didn't expect to be used as an adjective for her. However, he can't really do anything about it, as she's someone free-willed, and even her battling strategies all hinge on 'what looks best' that she has to do in the situation rather than making sure that she outsmarts the opponent.
After that, Hana pointed to the Houndoom next.
"This is the alleged future Elite 4 Karen's Houndoom. It's condition is good and doesn't really need to be here whatsoever, but it's trainer is consolidating her roster, so she's pulling on and off Pokemons in her whole lineup. She will give us 3 gallons of ice cream once she pulls it away from our daycare."
Anthony nodded at this whilst waving his hand a little at the Houndoom, who gave back his gesture with a nod. Anthony is quite sad that the value of Houndoom's care is just 3 gallons of ice cream, but he reckoned that he could also promise such a token if he ever wanted to make his mom and dad take care of a Pokemon of his, so maybe it's fine.
The next explanations are about the other Pokemons which are mostly inside the berry forest, which is honestly of little interest to Anthony except the strong ones like Heracross. Mostly, this is because these types of Pokemons are the most common and the most well-documented in books he has read; they're actually just on demand because, again, they were raised by the Dover couple and they come with free instructions on how to properly raise them into strong Pokemons despite being averagely mediocre or weak.
Anthony is more interested in the Ground types, which are not endemic to Indigo Plateau; these are introduced to him by his father.
"These are our Flygons, which we need to have permission and a contract from the league to have their eggs sold. You see, this Pokemon is slowly being introduced in certain parts of Indigo as wild Pokemons, so things like us not being allowed to release them randomly or put them in a place not conducive for their growth have to he agreed upon; if we did any of that, it would be considered a breach of contract and our business will be punished."
Looking intently at the bowing Flygons with their children all over their body, clinging or biting on them, Anthony nodded before squinting his eyes.
"But dad, there's no desert in Indigo Plateau, is there?"
Wouldn't that make the Flygons either have to be in caves or loamy-soiled area of Indigo, a place not suited for their ambush predator nature before becoming dragons? Such were Anthony's thoughts, which Ben and Hana agreed on, or at least recognized as a good question.
Ben replied.
"Yes, apparently, the league wanted to use the two safari zones of Indigo so it can introduce Trapinch to trainers."
Anthony nodded at this.
_So it won't be publicly available, huh, which is good since the Trapinch line is an ambush predator, so if they didn't limit the place they were in, then they might become pests in the structural integrity of buildings, like how Diglett has become..._
While Anthony was connecting the dots, his father pointed at the next pair of Pokemon, which is a pair made up of a Krokorok and a Krookodile, one of the strongest Ground-types of the Unova region due to its Moxie ability, which makes the Pokemon's damage increase every time they knock out an opponent. Knowing this, Anthony's eyes shone as his head snapped toward his dad's.
"Ah, yes, those are my Pokemons that are not part of my main roster. You see, while most of our Pokemons are already inside our backyard, some of them are very troublesome to let propagate inside a region where they're not endemic, especially strong Pokemons like Pseudo-Legendary ones. Krokorok and Krokodile are the ones that are less troublesome to get a permit for, so as of now, they're the only ones that can have their eggs sold."
Anthony nodded at this whilst inferring that the Pokemon League differentiates between having a Pokemon and making them procreate.
_Furthermore, it seems that only state-affiliated labs are allowed to make tagged non-endemic Pokemons to give birth inside a specific region... most likely... I wonder what they do to the children that hatched in eggs of Pokemons..._
As Anthony thought of this, his mom spoke.
"These Pokemons, alongside me and your dad, your books, and your own Pokemons, will all be your partner for the next 2 years in preparing for the breeder's exam, which is of course specifically designed by the two of us based on our experiences on the exam and anecdotes from other forums, you can ask Cynthia for some help after she becomes a champion, too."
Hearing this, Anthony smiled. After all, while he always jokes around that his greatest cheat code upon coming to this world is the fact that his mom and dad have a lot of connections all over the world of Pokemon, he still recognizes that these connections are made through their skills and their mysterious reasons why they seem to have no intention of being a champion.
While Anthony expected that he would be left on his own, as they were not exactly the most supportive of parents, it's much better for his chances to pass the breeder's exam if two licensed Pokemon Breeders, and very capable ones at that, assisted him in his review journey, which he has been doing almost ever since he got transmigrated into this world.
"The contents of your review are basically just the contents of your internship minus the data collection part and are more compacted that you need to do more things in a day. Furthermore, you also will be facing each of us in mock Pokemon battles where we use unevolved Pokemons against either Zubat and Miltank, and when you're able to constantly defeat us, the evolution level goes to their second level and so on."
For a moment, seemingly to make Anthony absorb and make sense of her explanation, Hana paused.
"Are you ready?"
And when Hana asked Anthony such a question, her son nodded with a faint smile splattered on his flaccid face.
"Yes."

Viridian City is known for its many names: the eternally green paradise, the evergreen city, among others. One of the many reasons, besides its green-based city planning, is that they're the geographic owner of Viridian Forest, which separates it from Pallet Town, the home of the research center of Pokemons of the whole Kanto region.
The city is full of wonders that the citizens are proud of; however, not until recently have the people of Viridian learned their darkest secret: the Earth-type Gym, officially recognized by the league inside the city, is the main base of Team Rocket, the most heinous poaching and illegal syndicate in the whole Indigo Plateau, and also their birthing place. This fact alone dealt a huge blow to the city's tourism sector, as even rookie trainers from Pallet, a place where a tradition is born where they use Viridian Forest as a site of their 'first steps' and also the place where they catch their first Pokemon, have started to rent Laprases and other swimming Pokemons to go to Fuchsia or Lavender temporarily.
Not only that, the fact that conspiracy theorists has been spreading their own dillusional takes about how did Team Rocket was able to even be concieved in Viridian made parents, trainers, coordinators and even casual toursists alike to get paranoid and avoid the city altogether despite not knowing if what they have read in the internet is right, they opted to adhere to the 'better safe than sorry' logic.
Of course, the rumors, like the government using Team Rocket to regulate the masses' use of Pokemon as they wanted to use these wondrous creatures as weapons once more, or the ones where Team Rocket is the remnant of a faction within the government that are conservatives and see Pokemons as biological weapons and not as companions, are all false.
In truth, the origin of Team Rocket is much more humble than such grand theories. The organization called Team Rocket all started from the hardwork of the man called Gordon, the first leader of Team Rocket and the father of the current leader: Giovanni. In his time, while Gordon wasn't able to raise Team Rocket into its prosperity unlike the primetime of his son, he was able to make it popular and notorious enough to be noticed by the government.
Their operations started as simple stealing of rare Pokemons that are either carefully put in an environment similar in structure to their former home but on different land into starting to make counterfeit Poké Balls and lab equipments. Besides making the benchmark for the prosperity of Team Rocket, Gordon also raised the leader who would bring them prosperity: Giovanni.
While not being his true child and was randomly adopted in an orphanage as a way to find suitable heirs to the aging Gordon, he still showed great promise, which caused Gordon to be sure to raise him into the perfect heir. During his waning years away from his prime, Gordon taught Giovanni how to run an organization, how to kill his emotions, and how to be ruthless if it means being able to reach your goals and for the betterment of Team Rocket.
Of course, the child that Giovanni was at that time, he doesn't know any better and its not like the orphanage that he was in is particualrly well-funded to have dedicated moral lessons class that parents should provide, thus he just became what Gordon wanted: decesive, radical and ruthless, making him able to dispatch of people who tried to desert the Team Rocket and those that failed msierably on major operations, which made Gordon relieved enough to finally retire and make Giovanni the leader while Gordon step up and relax in his mansion, which at that time is yet to be ransacked by the Interpol.
During the time when Giovanni is the leader, the whole Team Rocket became true to their name as their fame and notoriety propelled them to the skies and beyond. Now, they were able to block other organzations from within and outside Indigo from forming a challenge or even disembarking inside their Plateu while they themselves have started to have some clout in the smuggling of pseudo legendaries and Legendary-subduing equipments in other regions.
Furthermore, at the time where Giovanni was the leader, Team Rocket was also able to build underground factories and facilities to create counterfiet scietific equipments that are restricted by the government as 'licensed researchers only' and smuggle them to different regions for the other gangs and organizations big enough to have labs of their own. Of course, just as he was taught, Giovanni made all of the organization's success possible through being ruthless; in his tenure as a leader, blackmailing, dispatching, fraud, and breaches of contract were common and were also taught to other members.
To make the other members do better through competition, Giovanni even announced to his executives that he didn't plan to raise an heir from scratch but rather wanted to choose between them, which yielded results as he had expected, as all the operations handled by their executives were great successes.
Just like this, he made Team Rocket the greatest enemy of the Interpol situated in Indigo.
However, as they say, everything that has peaked will eventually fall, and Giovanni's dark empire is no exception.
"How did it all go wrong?"
Such were Giovanni's question, and while he can point out the time where they went too far and irked a no-loose ends type of girl named Hana Dover, Giovanni knew that it was way before Hana even started to hold a Pokeball.
"Good day, Mr. Giovanni. I'm Layla. I will be your new secretary from now on."
