The reason I wanted to keep Ryan and Leo out of this incident was simple.
The energy of this dragon vein wouldn't be of much use to either of them.
Once Ryan awakened, any energy other than the Holy Sword's power would be purified and disappear. As for Leo, he was already approaching the limit of the magical power he could accumulate.
Technically, Leo could probably increase his capacity if he used the dragon vein properly.
But there was another problem.
He was the eldest son of the Taylor Group.
Even if Leo himself had no interest in the dragon vein, his father certainly would.
Of course, he wouldn't simply seize it by force.
That wasn't how the Taylor Group operated.
He'd probably offer to build a larger, better-equipped orphanage somewhere else and relocate the children there.
On paper, it would even sound like a generous offer.
But I knew how these things worked.
Once the original orphanage disappeared, the story surrounding it would change completely.
