With Franky on board, Bellamy could finally get his hands on a proper ship. After acquiring this warship, he would immediately give it some simple modifications, and then they could prepare to enter the New World. Before this, he had already given Drake his mission; he should have made some progress by now.
"Hey, it's me." Bellamy called Drake. "How's it going? Found any good ships?"
"Captain, we've found a top-tier warship. It's at Port District 3."
"I'm on my way."
The quick news didn't surprise Bellamy. This was Sabaody, after all, the most prosperous place in the world. Grove 3 wasn't far from his location. Before long, Bellamy found Drake and the others, and at the same time, he saw the top-tier warship Drake had mentioned.
It was a massive vessel, over three hundred meters long and about fifty meters high. The hull was entirely red, carved with various exotic and ferocious beasts, looking incredibly majestic from a distance.
"Captain, this is the Celestial Dragons' personal vessel, the Redwood Treasure Ship."
This ship was famous in the area; Franky naturally recognized it.
"Hmm, not bad."
The Celestial Dragons' ship was bound to be the best of the best; that much was obvious. Bellamy took a liking to it at first glance.
"Can you modify it?" he asked, turning to Franky.
"Of course. I can change it however you want." Franky pounded his chest, brimming with absolute confidence in his shipbuilding skills.
"Good."
After so many years of using kerosene lamps, Bellamy had had enough. Now with Franky here, he could finally have electricity. Although the power source would likely be cola, which felt a bit unreliable.
"Drake, I have another mission for you."
"Your orders, Captain."
"Tonight, you and the others will clear out the guards on the ship. Tomorrow, I'll bring the coating artisan over to coat it."
Once coated, they could immediately use the ship's power system to dive into the sea. Once they were underwater, finding them would be harder than finding a needle in a haystack. As for the Celestial Dragons' reaction? Who the hell cared. If any Celestial Dragon dared to show his face, he could just die. Once they entered the New World, it would be the pirates' domain.
"Captain, isn't this ship a bit too big?"
Even with two new members, operating a warship this large wouldn't be easy.
"It's fine. Ships like this usually have an extra power source."
The technology controlled by the Celestial Dragons was top-tier. This ship wouldn't rely solely on wind power. Franky could just modify it to have a simpler operating system. Unnecessary parts, like the pleasure facilities that were bound to be on board, could all be scrapped.
"Franky, you'll be busy tonight. Strip out everything unnecessary on the ship."
"I just need it to be able to sail. We can figure out the rest later."
"Understood, Captain."
As a top-tier shipwright, Franky's knowledge of ships was far deeper than Bellamy's. He didn't need to be told twice; he would modify the ship according to the crew's current size.
"Go and prepare some supplies. We move as soon as it gets dark."
There were still a few hours until nightfall. Bellamy could take another stroll around the island and cause some trouble for his mortal enemy.
The Human Auction House was, without a doubt, one of Doflamingo's most profitable businesses. He had heard of its fame even when he was in one of the Four Blues. The auction house boasted that you could buy a slave of any race here, as long as you had enough money. To make such a bold claim on Sabaody and stay in business meant they could actually deliver.
If he burned it down, Doflamingo would definitely be heartbroken enough to cough up blood.
That's right. Bellamy's plan was to burn the auction house to the ground. A top-tier luxury establishment like this wouldn't be so easy to rebuild once it was destroyed. Of course, Bellamy was going to attack Dressrosa as soon as he entered the New World. Whether Doflamingo would even survive was still an unknown. But destroying this place would definitely cause his nemesis a great deal of trouble. So why not?
"I heard you came to Sabaody looking for me. A shame you didn't stay for long."
Doflamingo had clearly been held up by something important, forcing him to abandon his pursuit of Bellamy. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the order must have come from Kaido. That useless Heavenly Yaksha didn't dare to even breathe in front of Kaido. Who knows what Kaido did to him back in the day to make him so obedient. That was another thing Bellamy was very curious about. Doflamingo might be a bit of a waste, but he didn't seem like the type to fear death. Kaido must have used some method to get him so completely under his thumb.
"Since you dared to leave, you must have been prepared to lose this place."
Did Doflamingo not know what kind of person Bellamy was? Why had he rushed to Sabaody in the first place? It was to protect his business here. Doflamingo's departure must have been a carefully considered decision. The person happiest about Bellamy's half-year disappearance was probably Doflamingo.
But now he was here, and Doflamingo's worst fears were about to come true.
That night, a fire broke out in Grove 1 of the Sabaody Archipelago. The moment the fire started, it spread unstoppably, engulfing the entire district. The fire burned for a whole night, reducing half the street to ashes. The Human Auction House suffered the most severe losses. The entire building was completely incinerated, and the thousands of slaves imprisoned within vanished from the world along with the flames.
The next morning, standing on his new warship, Bellamy gave his final order in the first half of the Grand Line.
"Set sail for the New World."
"Yes, Captain!"
Protected by a thin membrane, the Redwood Treasure Ship silently sank into the sea. On a nearby rooftop, Rayleigh and Shakky, who had witnessed everything, had complex expressions in their eyes.
"If he survives, the world order might change drastically in a few years!"
"It's not a 'might'."
"If a man like that can survive the Four Emperors, the entire world will tremble at his madness!"
Rayleigh was absolutely certain of this. Because he had seen more than one man like that before.
