Chapter 325 - Chapter 325: Bepo, Do We Have A Camera?

On the Sabaody Archipelago side, the Straw Hat Crew said goodbye to Rayleigh and Shakky and quickly located the Thousand Sunny.

They had deliberately hidden the Sunny in a secluded place to avoid the Marines.

Momoo, who had been guarding the ship, poked his head out and mooed excitedly. It was unclear if he was happy to see his friends or thrilled to be heading home soon.

The Sunny was now covered in a thin coating membrane. Stepping on it felt very soft, like jelly, giving everyone a strange, new sensation. Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper were already stomping around excitedly, laughing out loud at the small game.

Franky immediately dove under the ship and removed the buoyant bag, causing the membrane to start inflating.

"Wow! It's puffing up! That's amazing!"

"Look, the membrane has formed a roof!""What an incredible membrane!"

A group of simpletons led by Luffy stared blankly at the film, using their poor vocabulary to praise the magic of the coating.

Nami tried to explain the principle of the coating. But after explaining for a long time, she realized Luffy and the others didn't understand, so she simply gave up. After all, sailing didn't depend on those guys; as long as she and Franky, the shipwright, understood it, that was enough.

It was also important to emphasize that the coating couldn't be destroyed, or she had no idea what those guys might do.

"Alright, everyone, hoist the sails!" Nami directed. Although the crew didn't fully grasp the process, they still followed her instructions.

The submarine next to the Sunny was also ready. Law, Bepo, and the others stood on the deck, watching the magical film and marveling at it repeatedly. However, Law worked hard to maintain his cool and handsome image, so he didn't say a word.

The submarine also needed coating. Although Law's submarine could dive to a depth of two or three kilometers, Fish-Man Island was 10,000 meters under the sea.

The water pressure at that depth was terrifying; even a submarine couldn't withstand it. Therefore, coating was essential, or the strong water pressure would crush the submarine.

Fortunately, the submarine was relatively small, so the coating process was quicker, and it finished in time to keep up with the Sunny.

Luffy jumped to the bow, raised his fists, and shouted, "Partners! Set sail! Our target is Fish-Man Island!"

"Oh!!!"

Everyone was undoubtedly excited and looking forward to the journey underwater.

The Sunny and the submarine began to sink slowly. Momoo acted as their guardian. The upcoming underwater journey would mainly be escorted by Momoo, as he was the only one in their group who could move freely in the sea.

When the Sunny completely sank below the surface of the sea, a beautiful scene came into view.

Huge tree roots were entangled, reaching down into the deep sea. The sun from the surface shone down, and they could see groups of fish swimming, creating a beautiful sight.

"That fish looks delicious! I really want to eat it!"

Luffy threw himself against the film, acting as if he wanted to grab the fish, causing the film to stretch.

"Luffy, the fish here don't look bad. Let's catch some and eat them!" Zoro silently drew his sword.

Then came two sharp impacts. Usopp and Chopper simultaneously punched the two idiots, knocking them down onto the deck.

Usopp and Chopper reprimanded them, "Nami just said not to destroy the membrane! What are you doing? If the membrane breaks, we will all be buried at the bottom of the sea!"

"Sorry!!"

Luffy and Zoro rubbed their heads in apology.

The two were quick to apologize, but everyone knew they only said the words; they hadn't actually reflected on their actions.

It was likely something else would happen again very soon.

Carl ignored Luffy, took out his camera, and started filming. He specifically chose beautiful shots, intending to turn them into a photo album later. But Carl soon felt the scenery alone was monotonous, so he asked Marie and Robin to take a group photo with him.

Robin and Marie were happy to join in, each hugging one of Carl's arms.

Jango enthusiastically helped with the shooting. Jango was quite skilled at taking pictures. He took more than a dozen high-quality photos in a row, then adjusted his glasses, showing the expression of an experienced photographer.

"Damn, Carl is monopolizing Robin-chan! I want Robin-chan to hold my arm for a photo too!"

Sanji immediately rushed over, trying to take Carl's place.

But Sanji was doomed to be disappointed because it wasn't Carl who refused, but Robin.

Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper also saw the commotion and ran over to join the photoshoot. Carl had no choice but to take out a few more cameras, and everyone had a great time.

Finally, of course, there was a group photo of all the members.

These were the most precious memories. Compared to a dry logbook, a photo album would undoubtedly be much richer.

On the submarine side, Law watched the commotion on the Sunny and silently glanced at Bepo.

"Ahem, Bepo, do we have a camera?" Law asked uncomfortably.

"No, Captain, we don't usually use cameras, so we didn't buy one. If the Captain wants to take pictures, you can borrow a camera from Luffy and the others. They would definitely lend it," Bepo replied innocently.

Law suddenly choked, choosing to remain silent.

Of course, he knew the Straw Hats would lend them one, but if he wanted to maintain his cool image, why would he borrow a camera?

"Bepo, remember to buy a camera in the future. It can be reimbursed with public funds. Since you're in charge of the logbook, you must also be responsible for making a photo album. The Straw Hats are doing well with this; you must learn from them!"

"Oh, alright, Captain," Bepo agreed, but he looked at Law suspiciously.

He had noticed that the Captain's facial expressions had become much more expressive since the Heart Pirates joined the Straw Hats.

Not long after, as the Sunny and the submarine dove deeper and deeper, the surroundings became pitch black, and nothing could be seen. Fortunately, both ships had lights, and they could occasionally see some glowing fish. Otherwise, they would have to continue in total darkness.

Since they couldn't see anything, Luffy and the others quickly grew bored and started eating.

Carl took the opportunity to ask about the details of the previous battle.

Although Carl had used Observation Haki to keep track of everyone's fights while he was battling Kizaru and Black Haki, he hadn't seen the events firsthand, so he still needed to ask for many details.

Carl showed a knowing smile when he learned that Marie and Liji had completely stalled the Tea Dolphin.

He knew Marie and Liji could do it.

With Luffy and Sanji absent, Carl was most confident in that combination. He also knew the strongest move of Marie's paint ability, which was why he had allowed Marie and Liji to take the lead.

Although intercepting an Admiral candidate was very dangerous behavior, Carl thought it was an excellent training opportunity.

Since Rayleigh was nearby, they didn't need to fear any danger, so such a good opportunity had to be seized.
