In the evening, Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher returned to the Fisher Family's villa. Autumn York instructed the household staff to prepare a very sumptuous dinner, as the new daughter-in-law was formally visiting for the first time, so she couldn't make it too shabby.
Looking at the table full of delicious dishes, Alice Turner was deeply moved. She wasn't a foodie; it wasn't because she was excited about the food, but because she felt Autumn York's heartfelt intention.
"Mom! Thank you for such a warm welcome. I'm really touched."
Alice Turner walked up to Autumn York, and regardless of whether the other would be displeased, she opened her arms and directly hugged her mother-in-law.
The person who just hugged her affectionately, Autumn York, however, showed a face of disdain. "Who's warmly welcoming you? I made all these dishes to welcome my son home. My son has been wandering outside for many days, and now that he's back, of course, I have to make some good food to welcome him."
