Over the phone, Lily Turner heard the sound of her sister Alice Turner slapping her forehead on the other end. She joked, "Sis! Do you enjoy torturing yourself that much?"
Tomorrow she planned to visit, hoping to meet up with her sister and have a chat. Discussing things over the phone was really inconvenient, and she didn't want anyone else to hear what they were talking about.
"Yeah, I do!"
Alice Turner laughed and responded, then gestured silently to Thomas Fisher, who was watching her take the call, indicating for him to start driving.
On Lily Turner's end, she had no idea what was happening over there. Hearing Alice say she wasn't home yet, Lily assumed her sister was driving and didn't say much else. She was about to hang up, "Sis! We can talk when we meet tomorrow. Focus on your driving for now."
"Okay, see you tomorrow."
