The secretary was surprised, "Isn't it just a wait? The director's meeting hasn't ended yet."
"No need, your director is a busy person, perhaps communicate later. Besides, our proposal hasn't been delivered yet."
Molly Polis said simply, then glanced at Chloe Grant.
Chloe Grant tried hard to maintain a cold demeanor, following Molly Polis out of the meeting room.
"Please take care."
The secretary was still diligent, escorting Molly Polis and Chloe Grant to the elevator doors.
"Chloe, when do you have the dinner appointment with Grandpa Morgan?" Molly Polis suddenly asked before entering the elevator.
Chloe Grant was a bit stunned, but she reacted quickly, "Oh, tomorrow I suppose; I'll see when I'm free."
"Let's make it the day after tomorrow, we'll go together," Molly Polis suggested.
They had already entered the elevator, and Chloe Grant responded, "Alright."
The elevator doors slowly closed.
Molly Polis remained stone-faced and didn't speak again.
