After listening to Naruto's explanation, Kakashi's expression darkened with thought. Ura Shiki's time-space regression technique… it was almost impossible to conceptualize in practical terms.
"This technique," Kakashi muttered, "it fundamentally changes the meaning of reality itself. Predicting moves a few seconds ahead and then manipulating time… how can one even counter that?"
Raikage A, sitting forward with his arms crossed, turned toward Naruto. "Naruto, if Urashiki is that powerful… did you ever manage to defeat him in your previous life?"
Naruto let out a short, wry laugh. "I did fight him. He's extremely difficult to handle, no doubt about it. But fortunately, he has a fatal weakness."
Gaara leaned forward, curiosity piqued. "A weakness? What is it?"
Naruto's smile widened slightly. "It comes from the aloof attitude of the Ōtsutsuki clan. That's right, all Ōtsutsuki are indifferent to the lives of other beings in the universe. They view mortals like ants beneath their feet. This arrogance makes them blind to certain things."
The Kage exchanged glances, trying to understand.
"Basically," Naruto continued, "they underestimate their opponents. They think minor attacks are inconsequential because nothing a mortal can do could ever truly harm them. That's the point of our strategy. We exploit that arrogance to create openings."
Seeing a few puzzled looks, Naruto elaborated further. "Even though Urashiki can regress in time, the damage he suffers doesn't disappear—it accumulates. Every time he backtracks, he still carries the cumulative damage in his body. That's our key!"
Several Kage nodded thoughtfully. From a tactical perspective, it was clear. If an opponent could rewind time, but cumulative damage still remained, then repeated attacks that force backtracking would eventually overwhelm him.
Naruto stood, his posture confident. "That's all I need to explain for now. During this period, Sasuke and I will go to the moon to assist Toneri in keeping Momoshiki and Kinshiki at bay. When they arrive, we can fight them directly, up in space, away from Earth."
He smiled at the monitors. "Also, I'll have Sai draw a portrait of Urashiki and distribute it to everyone. Make copies and share them with your ninjas. Alert your villages—everyone should be on guard."
Raikage A's brow furrowed with concern. "Naruto, what about my brother?"
Naruto's smile widened. "Master Raikage, don't worry about A. He has an excellent understanding of teamwork with Hachibi. I'll write out detailed information about Urashiki later. You can give it to your brother to review—he may attempt to capture Urashiki's chakra, but he won't succeed."
Raikage A nodded, clearly relieved to hear Naruto praise his brother's combat intelligence.
With that, the meeting concluded. Shizune's display disconnected, and the monitors in front of the Kage went dark.
Kakashi looked at Naruto and gave him a thumbs-up. "Looking at the way you handled that meeting, Naruto… in a crisis, you're calm, collected, and decisive. I don't think I'll have to worry about you taking over my class anymore."
Naruto chuckled. Of course he understood what Kakashi meant. During the meeting, he had maintained a professional demeanor—strategic, commanding, and fully in control.
Turning to Sasuke, Naruto said, "Sasuke, you'll project the Urashiki image to Sai so he can draw it accurately."
He focused on Sasuke's Rinnegan and transmitted the memory of Urashiki's appearance. Sasuke nodded. "Understood. Honestly, even without this, I already know him."
Sasuke exited to meet Sai, who was waiting to begin the portrait. Meanwhile, Shikaku approached Naruto.
"Hokage-sama, I'll prepare the village ninjas and put everyone on high alert," Shikaku said.
Kakashi nodded approvingly, and Naruto smiled. Shizune also organized the meeting minutes before approaching Naruto.
"You said we need to document Urashiki's abilities in detail, right?" Shizune asked.
Naruto nodded, took Shizune's pen, found a sheet of paper, and sat at his desk. His writing was meticulous, almost professional.
He listed everything he knew: Urashiki's transformations, ocular abilities, ninjutsu, tools, combat strategies, and even personality traits. Ten minutes later, he handed the completed dossier to Shizune.
"All done, Sister Shizune," he said.
Shizune examined the notes and asked, "Naruto, what about Momoshiki and Kinshiki? Don't you want to document them too?"
Naruto smiled confidently. "No need. I can handle them myself."
Kakashi gave a small nod of approval, clearly impressed.
Outside, Sai had completed the portrait of Urashiki. Sasuke examined it and nodded in recognition. Naruto looked over it, smiling. "Excellent work, Sai. The likeness is perfect."
Sai blushed slightly at the praise. Naruto handed the portrait to Kakashi.
"Mr. Kakashi, please give this to Shizune so it can be shared with the other villages. Sasuke and I will return home to greet our families before heading to the moon."
Kakashi patted both Naruto and Sasuke on the shoulders. "The peace of the shinobi world is in your hands now."
Naruto smiled. "Don't worry, Kakashi-sensei."
Sasuke smirked lightly. "Kakashi, take care of the village in our absence."
With that, Sasuke left. In this life, he had no conflicts with Naruto, his hands were uninjured, and there was no need for subterfuge. Sasuke only acknowledged Naruto, his brother Itachi, and a few others—no one else influenced him now.
Naruto watched Sasuke leave and sighed softly, then turned to Kakashi. "That's just his way."
Kakashi chuckled. "I'm used to it. You'll be fine."
After a few brief greetings, Naruto left to visit his family—Hinata, his parents—and to prepare for the journey to the moon. Sasuke went to greet Mikoto, Fugaku, and the others. Sakura and Koso had their explanations to offer, while Itachi would be informed by the village authorities.
The relationships between men were complicated but well-understood.
Just as Naruto and Sasuke left to pay their respects, Toneri, standing before Tensei on the moon, frowned sharply.
Something felt… wrong. Someone—or something—was approaching the moon.
