After Uchiha Teru completed setting up the battlefield, he noticed that Tsunade and Jiraiya were still some distance away. Without hesitation, he formed hand seals once more.
"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
Fueled by Uchiha Teru's infused chakra, the surrounding forest erupted with life. Trees twisted and extended rapidly, intertwining to form a colossal wooden dragon, which surged forward toward Tsunade and Jiraiya.
The dragon's advance caused the air to roar as its massive form cut through the battlefield with cries echoing like those of a living beast.
Tsunade's expression grew grim.
She was now convinced: this Immortal Organization must have inherited the complete techniques of her grandfather, Hashirama Senju. The mere sight of the wooden dragon confirmed it. And the magma giant summoned by Uchiha Yun? It was unlikely that its height was only 20 meters. Clearly, Uchiha Yun had held back. That realization brought an even deeper chill to her heart.
Uchiha Teru's presence wasn't as overwhelming as Uchiha Yun's. Despite him using her grandfather's Wood Release, his pressure paled in comparison to that of Yun. That thought alone was unsettling.
Activating her monstrous strength, Tsunade struck forward, breaking through the dragon's wooden coils.
Meanwhile, Jiraiya's white hair expanded wildly, forming a defensive barrier around his body to absorb the brunt of the wooden assault.
The massive dragon's head shattered from the collision, splinters flying, though deep scratches remained along Jiraiya's barrier.
"As expected… Even if he wields Grandpa's Wood Release, the true power behind it is limited," Tsunade muttered.
While Uchiha Teru engaged the Sannin, far away, another confrontation was unfolding—one that was far more deadly. Uchiha Kiyo and Danzo stood facing each other in the ruins of Root's headquarters.
Clad in crimson magma armor, Uchiha Kiyo emitted clouds of steam with each movement. In his grasp was the condensed Qi Yuan Slash, unstable yet held back, like a scythe of judgment waiting to fall.
By the time Danzo had rushed out of his office, most of Root's forces had already been annihilated. The destruction was absolute.
Surveying the carnage, Danzo's eyes widened with rage. Veins bulged from his forehead, and his blood-red eyes locked onto Uchiha Kiyo, seething with hate.
But Kiyo felt no sympathy. In fact, Danzo's hatred only fueled his amusement.
In a blur of movement, Kiyo activated his Body Flicker Technique, enhanced by the propulsion jets beneath his feet. His form vanished, leaving behind a ghostly white afterimage speeding toward Danzo.
Before Danzo could react, Kiyo slashed at his right arm with the Qi Yuan Slash.
But Danzo had anticipated a fatal blow. Before the attack even connected, his Izanagi had already been activated—the trigger set to activate the moment his arm was severed.
This was Danzo's failsafe. His Izanagi would grant him illusionary immortality—for a time.
Kiyo narrowed his eyes. "No… not just ten times. If he added more Sharingan recently, I might have to kill him more than ten times."
Danzo's body had more Sharingan—one arm full of them. And likely more hidden beneath his clothing. Legs, maybe. Kiyo couldn't afford to be careless.
Anticipating Danzo's resurrection, Kiyo used Body Flicker once more and repositioned 300 meters away—the maximum range where standard Three-Tomoe Sharingan Izanagi can remain effective.
Danzo reformed from the illusion, face darkening with every passing second.
"This bastard understands Izanagi too well," Danzo thought grimly. "Even its activation range…"
Uchiha Kiyo exhaled deeply. He dismissed the Qi Yuan Slash and formed a new weapon—a spear, glowing with dense chakra.
It had been a long time since he fought like this. Like a true warrior.
Again, his propulsion technique engaged. The sheer speed of his assault left even Danzo's enhanced senses behind. Despite his enhanced reflexes thanks to Hashirama's cells, Danzo couldn't follow Kiyo's movements.
Kiyo swung the heavy spear. The combined force of his strength and the spear's weight hurled Danzo through the air.
Not done, Kiyo released the spear mid-motion. The weapon sailed through the air, propelled by inertia.
Forming a new spear instantly, Kiyo launched forward again, catching up with the airborne Danzo. He hurled the second spear with deadly precision—impaling Danzo through the heart and pinning him to the ground in the distance.
Moments later, Kiyo flickered again—reappearing 300 meters away.
Danzo's body regenerated.
"One less," Kiyo muttered, watching as Danzo's body slowly reconstructed itself.
Removing the bandages over his left eye, Danzo revealed a powerful Sharingan. Without it, he couldn't even track Kiyo's movements. The speed was comparable to the Yellow Flash—Namikaze Minato himself.
True, Kiyo lacked Minato's instantaneous reaction time and refined control, but his close-combat ability and aggressive techniques made him equally dangerous—especially with his armor and chakra weapons. His use of propulsion and enhanced body movements gave him the edge in head-on combat.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Teru's battle was less lethal. His objective wasn't to kill—only to stall. The intensity paled in comparison to the killing field Kiyo had created.
From her vantage point, Tsunade saw Danzo's body regenerate again. She froze.
Once, she might have been confused. But now, as Hokage, she knew all of Konoha's dark secrets.
And that eye—Danzo's exposed Sharingan—it confirmed her fears.
"That's… the forbidden illusion of the Uchiha—Izanagi," she growled. "No wonder he helped orchestrate the Uchiha massacre. He coveted their eyes!"
It was a taboo in the shinobi world—taking another's Kekkei Genkai. Especially from the same village. Danzo's actions were beyond shameful. Even the Hyuga Clan would see this as intolerable.
Danzo had to die.
Tsunade clenched her fists. She could see blood-red Sharingan scattered across Danzo's body—every one a reminder of his crimes. Her stomach churned at the sight.
And then she saw it—Hashirama's cells.
"Bastard," she spat.
By now, both Tsunade and Jiraiya had spent significant energy in battle. Their attacks slowed as their focus shifted to Danzo's betrayal.
Uchiha Hui sensed the change in momentum and focused his perception toward Kiyo's battle.
"Heh… You brought this on yourself, Danzo," he muttered.
All it took was Danzo revealing his secrets. That one unwrapping of his bandages changed everything.
Kiyo, still calm, activated a new jutsu.
"Buddha's Fury: Fire Lotus!"
From his hand, a tri-colored lotus of fire formed. He flickered forward, dropped it near Danzo, and vanished again.
Boom!
The explosion rocked the field.
"One more life down," Kiyo said out loud—just to spite Danzo.
Danzo was visibly shaken.
"Damn it… I can't track his movements, and I can't dodge the fire lotus…"
He had ten lives left—at most. His only chance was to confuse Kiyo somehow.
Danzo had pushed his body to the brink. The Hashirama cells could only support so many Sharingan before his body collapsed. Several eyes were already closed, signaling they'd been used for Izanagi. His body was losing balance.
Then… equilibrium.
With a few Sharingan gone, his body stopped decaying for now.
On the other side, Kiyo sent a signal.
Tsunade and Jiraiya responded by slowing their fight even more. They noticed Teru's wooden creation momentarily freeze, but said nothing.
Silently, Uchiha Hui used the Annihilation and Rebirth Technique—his clone dispelled, transferring memories back to Kiyo.
None of them realized—Uchiha Teru had vanished.
Now fully synced with his clone's memories, Kiyo activated Body Flicker again—charging Danzo with a spear in hand.
This time, Danzo was ready. Though he couldn't fully track Kiyo, he could barely dodge—just enough to avoid being impaled.
The two clashed repeatedly. Danzo suffered cuts, while Kiyo remained untouched.
"Earth-Style Shadow Clone!"
Three clones emerged. Kiyo sent them at Danzo, creating an opening. Swapping his spear for Qi Yuan Slash, he closed in—
Danzo's arm fell to the ground, severed cleanly.
Another Izanagi activated.
But Kiyo was prepared.
He flickered again—appearing directly before Danzo. His Sharingan spun, and Danzo met his gaze.
"Izanami."
A kunai pierced Danzo's heart.
Simultaneously, Kiyo and Hui reappeared 300 meters away—leaving behind a single flickering Fire Lotus…
