The entirety of Konoha was abuzz with rumors—not baseless ones, but truths too bitter to be dismissed as idle gossip. And these truths had taken root, growing like wildfire throughout the village.
Moreover, when Uchiha Kiyo spread the information, he hadn't even twisted it out of context.
Faced with this, Tsunade couldn't deny anything. Her conscience would not allow her to.
This left both her and Jiraiya in a state of headache-inducing frustration. The constant complaints piling up on her desk only worsened Tsunade's irritation.
"Boom!"
Her fist slammed down, shattering the desk. With practiced efficiency, the guards outside rushed in, cleaned up the debris, and replaced it with a new one. It had become a regular occurrence.
Uchiha Kiyo hadn't spread this information recklessly. His actions carried intent—targeted and purposeful.
Danzo desired the Hokage position?
Then Uchiha Kiyo would strip him of the public support required to obtain it. With his reputation destroyed, how could Danzo hope to become Hokage?
After all, the Hokage was meant to be loved and respected, not feared and despised.
Tsunade hadn't considered this aspect. Her view of the Hokage position was never one of obsession, and she hadn't placed much political weight on it. Her ascension had been more out of necessity than ambition. She simply wasn't wired to understand power games the way Danzo was.
Danzo, however, had coveted the Hokage seat for decades. Even after Tsunade had taken the position, he hadn't given up. Yet now, thanks to Uchiha Kiyo's maneuvering, Danzo's ambitions were all but dashed. He could already envision his future—shunned, blamed, and humiliated by the very people he claimed to protect.
He would forever be nailed to Konoha's Pillar of Shame.
No redemption. No escape.
"Too ruthless," Danzo growled, gritting his teeth.
But he conveniently forgot his own actions—the slaughter of the Uchiha clan, young and old, all for his twisted sense of order and control.
This was karma. The wheel of fate turning, delivering judgment.
Of course, Danzo would never accept this. In his mind, everything he did was for the good of Konoha. That was the most terrifying part—he truly believed it. The twisted narrative had been repeated to himself so often that he no longer saw the lies.
It was the result of deep-rooted brainwashing, embedded within the structure of Root itself—combined with the warped ideology of the ninja world. The side effects of too much tampering with forbidden arts and rules-based jutsu, especially those connected to dojutsu like the Sharingan and its evolved states, had their psychological consequences.
These were things only Uchiha Kiyo could understand. Others lacked the awareness to perceive such abstract rules.
Tsunade and Danzo had made efforts to track the source of the rumors, to find Uchiha Kiyo by following the trail.
All had failed.
Uchiha Kiyo found the idea laughable.
They expected to find him? Ridiculous. He had dispersed dozens of shadow clones across the village, all transformed and cloaked using advanced suppression techniques that completely hid their chakra signatures. They posed as ordinary civilians—untraceable, unremarkable, invisible.
Ninjas could be tracked through registration files and chakra analysis, but Konoha was filled with civilians, many of whom had inconsistent or incomplete records. Where would one even begin to investigate?
More importantly, the village leadership had narrowed their focus to shinobi. They never considered the possibility that true civilians were involved—let alone that they were cleverly disguised clones.
Uchiha Kiyo observed the chaos from the shadows. Danzo's reputation had been successfully destroyed. Mission accomplished.
Now it was time for the next phase.
Danzo would die.
Kiyo emerged from his hidden base and made his way to the Forest of Death behind Konoha.
There, he rendezvoused with one of Orochimaru's avatars.
"To show sincerity, here is what Yunjun requested," Orochimaru said with a smirk.
Uchiha Kiyo's swift action had even caught Orochimaru by surprise. The day after their agreement, he had moved in the shadows and annihilated what remained of the Shimura clan.
A serpent slithered from Orochimaru's mouth and regurgitated three scrolls.
Uchiha Kiyo, unfazed by the viscous slime coating the scrolls, took them without hesitation.
"These contain my complete theoretical framework on bloodline limits and inheritance. With sufficient talent, the techniques described should be cultivable."
Kiyo did not elaborate. He made no mention of his own body-forging methods, nor did he reveal anything regarding the fundamental rule-based systems he had deciphered. The scrolls only included what the deal required.
"By the way, I heard that Senior Orochimaru has conducted extensive experiments on transplanting Hashirama's cells. I wonder… do you still have the test bodies?"
The inquiry seemed casual, but Orochimaru's snake-like eyes narrowed sharply.
"The first-generation cells are far too... potent. None of the subjects survived. All of them died. Are you asking for the corpses?"
After a pause, Orochimaru noticed Uchiha Kiyo's unwavering gaze. He really did want them.
Strange. What use were corpses?
To extract first-generation cells?
Possibly. Despite being dead, the experimental bodies still housed active cells due to the regenerative nature of Hashirama's DNA. The cells could be extracted and diluted for reuse.
Still, Kiyo could have simply asked for purified cells. Why the bodies?
There had to be another motive. Perhaps he knew there were Root caches that also held first-generation DNA samples?
Regardless, Orochimaru handed one over, intrigued but unbothered. He had plenty.
Besides, Hashirama's cells weren't particularly valuable to an Uchiha—unless paired with very specific uses.
Kiyo accepted the corpse and conducted a swift inspection, nodding in approval.
"Then the transaction is complete."
With that, he vanished.
In a remote, secluded area, he took out the corpse and summoned two shadow clones.
Within half an hour, a new clone had been created.
But this wasn't just any clone.
This was Uchiha Hui—a separate identity born of Kiyo's technique, forged in a body still brimming with vitality thanks to Hashirama's cells.
The presence of first-generation cells granted the body incredible durability, enhanced chakra capacity, and more importantly, adaptability.
The clone wasn't made to be another warrior—at least not initially. It was a vessel, a tool, and an ace in the hole.
Under normal circumstances, chakra drawn from a clone was limited by the body's condition and durability. But the presence of the first-generation's regenerative cells pushed the limits.
Even if the clone's body had died, the cells kept it alive at a biological level, enabling advanced chakra manipulation and storage. This bypassed many of the original technique's drawbacks.
In theory, chakra extraction through such a clone could be infinite. The only limit would be the body's tolerance, which was now significantly enhanced.
The reason Kiyo had developed Lightning Release Body Forging despite having upgraded Yang Release cultivation was precisely to push this chakra ceiling.
Now, with this new vessel, it was easier.
According to Kiyo's calculations, Uchiha Hui could harness seventy to eighty units of chakra—a number equal to Kiyo's reserves in the original timeline.
A perfect replacement.
Over the next two days, Kiyo allowed the clone to acclimate to the body and synchronize chakra flow.
Then, he went further.
He transplanted a pair of extra three-tomoe Sharingan into Hui's eyes.
After ensuring everything was stable, he layered a seal on the eyes, making them appear like ordinary ones.
When unsealed, they would activate instantly.
Preparations complete, Kiyo and Hui moved toward the new Root base—one Kiyo had monitored from the beginning. After all, it had been rebuilt right under his surveillance.
You thought I wouldn't strike? I will strike precisely because you thought I wouldn't.
And with the clone technique in hand, numbers no longer frightened me.
With the Immortal Organization behind me, the only thing I fear… is not having enough enemies.
This time, I'll bring reinforcements from the Organization.
"This time, the Immortal Organization moves with justification," Kiyo muttered.
At the entrance of the Root base, both Kiyo and Hui released the suppression seals on their chakra.
Two overwhelming chakra signatures erupted, immediately noticed by all of Konoha.
But awareness didn't guarantee a timely response.
After half a month of quiet, no one expected the Immortal Organization—or Uchiha Kiyo—to resurface so boldly, right at Root's doorstep.
And they forgot one crucial fact—the Immortal Organization was not just one man.
The moment those chakra flares were felt, Tsunade and Jiraiya understood the danger.
"Warframe Mode 1.0!"
Uchiha Hui activated a technique previously unseen—battle armor mode.
Inspired by the Snow Country's chakra armor and his own Gundam combat design, Uchiha Kiyo had spent half a month crafting this prototype version.
For someone who had built three Gundam modes, a basic armor augmentation was child's play.
And so the storm began to gather.
