Kaia stepped out of her car, straightening the invisible wrinkles on her clothes. It really was a bad idea she made to wear this outfit. She looked up at the sign on the building she was standing before, letting out a small tut. She hated Hayes but he only made her hate him more by setting up a meeting at a bar. All the rumors she had heard about him was enough to make her hate him. Not that he had done her wrong.
"And you seriously do not see anything wrong with this, mother?" Kaia mumbled, her gaze not leaving the neon sign. Although her mother didn't know where they were meeting up, Hayes didn't let her which Kaia found suspicious but Kylie waved it off.
"This marriage is important, Kaia. You do not have to throw a tantrum over the fact that he is meeting up with you at a bar." Kylie responded nonchalantly from over the phone. The only reason she had called again was to make sure Kaia met with Hayes and didn't want her to ghost him like she did for all the other men.
