No way this was happening. What were the fucking odds of something like this? James thought as he stood there, and it almost felt like his mind had stopped working for a moment, because what he was seeing and hearing did not feel real at all.
It felt impossible… and a tsunami?
That was something people only saw on the news from other countries, some far away tragedy that had nothing to do with this place.
But now suddenly an earthquake had started everything, shaking buildings, cracking roads, tearing the ground apart like it had been waiting for this moment for years, and before anyone could even understand what was happening a tsunami followed right after it.
It felt unreal and well James could not stop the thought that it was like his entire life had become a magnet for disasters.
When he was still a college student he had been nothing more than a nobody, a broke kid trying to survive day by day back then the country had been peaceful. Nothing ever happened.
