Description: Axofloreus is a powerful predator of Sumeru's wetlands. Its long, vine-like external gills have developed beautiful, blooming pink Nilotpala Lotuses that glow softly in the moonlight. The luminescent flowers attract various Bug Pokémon that help spread its revitalizing pollen, causing rapid growth in nearby flora and vegetation. Some people say that giving a flower from an Axofloreus to your significant other ensures eternal love, though this is likely due to the pollen's mild aphrodisiacal and hallucinogenic effects.
When angered, Axofloreus produces this pollen in excess, turning it from a mild hallucinogen into a deadly neurotoxin that coats its gills. It attacks by lashing its gills like whips with enough force to create shockwaves and dent reinforced steel, often leaving its target engulfed in toxic pollen and deep lacerations. If any of its external gills or limbs are heavily injured, Axofloreus will tear them off, regenerating them within a few days. A single drop of its blood is said to be five times more effective than a Full Restore, capable of healing lost limbs and damaged organs in both humans and Pokémon.
