Description: Florenidae is an amphibious Pokémon that spends most of its time half-buried in the mud of shallow wetlands. It uses its leaf-like external gills to photosynthesize while keeping its body moist. A thin layer of mucus coats its skin, preventing dehydration on land and reducing friction to almost nothing, allowing it to make sudden, slippery bursts of speed when escaping danger.
When threatened, Florenidae quickly buries its body and folds its gills tightly over its head, resembling a closed lotus bud. This camouflage is its primary defense, as it lacks strong offensive capabilities and relies on blending into the surrounding aquatic plants to avoid predators.
