" Mr. Slime, " tears came down Ultear's face as she remembered what happened. Just as she and Mr. Slime were escaping through the woods, a magic blast suddenly came towards her from nowhere.
The attack was so sudden that Ultear had no chance to dodge. Just as she was about to close her eyes and accept fate. Mr. Slime suddenly came in front of her and protected her. But Ultear, who was saved, didn't have any time to be happy; she found Mr. Slime's condition becoming worse.
His body was beginning to get more and more illusory. And she also found that Mr. Slime's aura was dropping at an alarming rate. This made Ultear get a very bad feeling.
Although she was a researcher or a wizard with extensive knowledge. She knew one or two things after staying in that research lab for some time. And she knew that when a person's aura drops past a critical level, it means they are either seriously injured or they are dying.

"Hmph, of course I'm alive. You really thought that puny explosion could kill me," Akira's clone said with disdain.
Well, truthfully speaking, that explosion did actually kill him due to him using all his magic power. But knowing how much of an impact his disappearance would have on Ultear, Akira decided to make a new clone so that Ultear wouldn't actually go towards the darkside.
And facts have proven his decision was correct. Just now Ultear was almost darkened by all the negative emotions after just regaining consciousness.
Just thinking of the consequences of this girl's blacking made Akira's clone feel very scared. You know, due to his presence, this Ultear had managed to gain hope again. And everyone knows when a man is thrown into despair twice, he will become a menace that throws the world into chaos.

"Mr. Slime." Ultear looked at the slime with obvious reluctance. She liked it very much when the squishy slime was in his hands. It brought her a sense of fulfillment and security. And it was very squishy.
"Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Akira Kurenai, a wizard of Fairy Tail," Akira said as he showed his guild emblem to Ultear.

" I.." Ultear hesitated to speak, not out of reluctance but because she herself didn't have a clue as to what to do next.
Seeing her like this, Akira winked at his clone to act according to the script. The slime nodded and then jumped into Ultear's lap and said,
"Hey Ultear, why don't we go and see your mother?"
Hearing this, Ultear froze. She looked at Mr. Slime with obvious hesitation and a bit of hope.
"Ultear, after you escaped last time, you didn't talk with your mother, right? You are still thinking that your mother had betrayed you because of those lies those researchers said without you even confirming it yourself. You should know yourself how much love your mother had for you. So how could she bear to abandon you? My advice is that you should go and meet your mother for the last time and understand the situation yourself. " Mr. Slime said earnestly.
"Okay," after a while, Ultear finally agreed in a low voice.
