Chapter 9 - Arrival in Terra!

The sensation of being torn apart and stitched back together hit Jax all at once. Jax had a-lot of expectations for being teleported to Terra, but he could never of expected the most horrifying, painful experience of his life.

Space collapsed, and reasserted himself, and he felt his entire body being pulled apart and stitched back together, all within a heartbeat. The only reason he didn't screech like a little girl was because his pain tolerance improved.

His vision flared white and finally Jax could feel his feet touching an actual firm, physical floor. He staggered half a step before instinct and power stabilized him, his body correcting itself instantly.

A deep, ancient pressure pressed down on his senses, not hostile, but immense, like standing beneath a mountain that acknowledged his presence.

When his vision cleared, Jax acknowledged he was no longer in the Divine Realm.

He stood within a colossal cathedral, with an absolutely massive ceiling supported by titanic obsidian pillars etched with glowing runes

Crimson and violet mana flowed through the walls, converging toward the center of the structure where an enormous altar rose, carved in the likeness of the Three Demon Goddesses.

"HE'S HERE!"

A sudden shout of a single sentence echoed in his ear followed by an absolutely massive roar of awe and faith, shaking the very ground due to how loud the roar was.

Jax could immediately tell that roar came from a large amount of people, so he turned around, his golden eyes widening slightly as his perception expanded outward.

There were demons everywhere. Hundreds of Thousands if not millions of Demon everywhere, spilling from the Cathedral into massive plazas beyond.

Streets, Balconies, Rooftops and Elevated Terraces that were all packed so densely that the land itself seemed to sink under the immense weight.

He could spot an insane amount of clan banners flying across the sky, each marked with sigils of ancient families and long-standing rivalries. From Vampires, to Demi-Humans to Succubi, Jax could spot every species.

Then, Jax's Demonic Domination unfurled around him like an invisible crown.

It wasn't something he activated consciously. It simply activated as soon as he appeared around Demons. An immense pressure swept across the entire environment, a force of absolute power that rippled through every soul present.

Conversations died mid-word. Those who were slouching straightened their backs and unbent their knees. Even the most prideful among them felt it, a primal recognition clawing up from their blood.

All of their senses screamed one thing -- The Demon King had Arrived!

Soon, all of the Demons began to kneel. Not all at once, but in waves. First beginning with the Lesser Demons, like Imps and Goblins, then some of the veterans and officers. Even those who tried to resist, felt their legs tremble, instincts screaming at them to acknowledge.

Then, Jax turned to his left, looking at the very front of the cathedral plaza, where he spotted a line of figures stepping forward as one, a line who he could immediately tell were the various Clan Leaders.

Each one had the aura of a sovereign in their own might, none of them kneeling as they just stared at Jax, who stared back confidently, inspecting each-other.

The first to move was the woman already halfway to Jax before anyone else could take a breath.

She was tall, voluptuous, and radiant with infernal beauty, crimson skin glowing faintly beneath ceremonial robes that barely restrained her presence. Black horns curved elegantly from her temples, and bat-like wings folded behind her back as her golden slit-pupiled eyes locked onto Jax with open devotion.

She dropped to one knee so hard the stone cracked.

"Oh, my King," she breathed, voice trembling with reverence and barely restrained emotion. "You've finally come."

This was Sabrina, the Succubus Saintess, Lilith's chosen voice and the spiritual heart of the Standard Demon Clan.

Her tail curled around herself as if to keep from springing forward from excitement.

"On behalf of the Standard Demons," she continued, pressing a fist to her chest, "and all races under our banner, orcs, goblins, trolls, imps, succubi, and countless others, I pledge our absolute loyalty to you, Jax. Demon King chosen by the Goddesses. Our armies are yours. Our lives are yours. Our faith has never wavered."

Behind her, an ocean of demons roared again, chanting his title as if they'd practiced it their entire lives.

"DE-MON KING! DE-MON KING!"

"DE-MON KING! DE-MON KING!"

"DE-MON KING! DE-MON KING!"

Sabrina lifted her head just enough to meet his eyes, her expression glowing with pride. "Command us… and we will break the world for you. Lilith promised us a true Demon King, and we have unwavering loyalty in her, and by extension, you,"

Before the echo could die out naturally, the ground shuddered and a huge wave of heat rippled through the air as a towering woman stepped forward, each footfall cracking the obsidian floor as though it were glass.

She stood nearly as tall as Jax himself, her presence overwhelming, muscles honed to perfection, scales faintly visible beneath smooth skin, and hair that shimmered with every color imaginable, like a living prism. Her eyes burned with ancient intelligence and draconic arrogance.

This was Orianna, the Dragon Queen!

She did not kneel.

She looked at him confidently without kneeling, the entire Dragon Clan behind her holding their breath, whether they were in their Humanoid Forms behind her, or even flying across the sky and looking down at the ongoings.

"So," Orianna said, her voice carrying effortlessly across the cathedral, "this is the man the Goddesses chose."

Her gaze swept over him, sharp and invasive, measuring Jax's strength and worth. It was a demanding gaze, one to see if he deserved to be on her level.

Then, Orianna smiled.

"…Good." She said, liking what she said as The Dragon Queen then placed one hand over her heart and inclined her head, not in submission, but acknowledgment of Jax's title and strength.

"I am Orianna, Queen of the Dragon Clan," she declared, "We bow to strength above all else. If you are as powerful as the world now whispers, then we will follow you into unmatched victory, destroying those who threaten us,"

Her eyes gleamed, something hungry flickering behind them. "And if not," she added lightly, "I will tear that crown from your head myself."

A ripple of tension passed through the crowd.

Jax's Demonic Eyes of Sin flared faintly as he saw how tense the crowd acted, and all he could spot was the sense of anticipating within the crowd.

Next up came a woman draped in deep crimson and black, her steps silent despite the heels she wore. Pale skin. Blood-red hair cascading down her back with sharp eyes.

She stopped a respectful distance away and knelt gracefully, "I am Nulissa, Matriarch of the Vampire Clan," she said, her voice calm and precise, " We do not give loyalty lightly… but we give it absolutely once earned."

She lifted her gaze, meeting Jax's without fear, "You have already earned our attention. Should you prove yourself as you have begun, you will have our shadows and our blood as your weapons in conquest,"

Behind her, vampires bowed in perfect unison, a huge blood pentagram appearing in the sky with a magnificent insignia, before it finally dissolved.

Next, a wave of charm magic rolled forward, but Jax was immune to it, and he just looked at who sent that, spotting a woman with flowing silver hair and nine magnificent tails stepping into view, her presence intoxicating.

This was Aurora, a Nine-Tailed Celestial Fox and Leader of the Demi-Human Clan.

She didn't kneel either, but did a graceful curtsy.

"Jax," she said smoothly, deliberately using his name that was revealed in the Oracle sent down by the Goddesses, "You carry power… and potential. Demi-humans respect strength, but we follow those who can protect our future."

Her tails swayed behind her like living flames.

"Show us that future," she purred, "and you'll have warriors who will never retreat."

~WHOOSH!~

Just as Aurora finished, the shadow of a pair of wings appeared, causing her to chuckle, "Can't wait your turn Xara?" Aurora said as she stepped back.

In the place she just was, a woman descended with controlled grace, black-feathered wings folding behind her back. Her expression was sharp as she looked Jax up and down.

This was the leader of the Fallen Angels, Xara.

She just smirked as she confronted Jax, "Me and my people will be watching you closely mr Demon King, so make sure to impress us,"

'So this is what they said about Politics,' Jax thought as he listened to all of these introductions, thinking about how he'd be managing all of these people soon enough.

Then, from the forest-green glow near the cathedral's edge stepped a slender figure with moonlit eyes and hair like liquid shadow.

She knelt fully, fist to chest as she spoke, "The Dark Elves welcome you, Demon King. I am Lyla, the Matriarch of our Clan," she said softly. "Protect our lands… and we will ensure your enemies never see the arrow that kills them."

Treants rumbled their approval from afar while Oni warriors slammed fists to chests. Ghostly figures hovered in respectful silence and Liches bowed their skulls. All the clans and various factions had all come together, their eyes on their new Demon King Jax.
