The air in the luxurious bedroom was thick with the scent of sex. The fire had died down to a soft, crackling glow, casting long shadows across the room.
Jax leaned against the ornate headboard, the silk sheets pooled around his waist with Serika curled up alongside him, her naked body pressed tightly to his side, and one of her soft, fluffy tails draped possessively over his thigh.
The Dual-Cultivation Skill was used when he was having Sex with her, and Jax felt a very small, but nice improvement in his strength. The improvement Serika experienced would be much more, as she was very weak, but he'd help her control it.
However, Jax wasn't focused on Serika right now, as he was currently looking at his System messages that came after he had finished with Serika.

Jax smiled as he got that, and snapped his fingers, blank holographic pages made of Magic appearing before him.
He also immediately accepted the reward, allowing Mana Engineering Knowledge to flood his mind.
Various Principles and Systems of Engineering immediately buried itself in his mind, allowing him to understand it all. Now, he understood how to make not only things from his past life, but massively enhance them using Mana.
He understood how to maximize energy efficiency to theoretical perfection, how to perfectly combine mana formations into his designs to improve performance.
He could create Mana-Based Logic Arrays, artificial structures that could monitor traffic flow or balance energy distribution across entire city districts in real time.
Now, he could design the most luxurious of trains, far more luxurious than back on Earth, while also allowing them to reach speeds in the thousand ( s ) of kilometers per hour.
It took him around 10 minutes to fully absorb and understand all of the information, and once he opened his eyes, the holographic pages before him responded instantly, runes flickering as his will touched them.
He raised one hand and began to draw. The first design was of course Mana Trains. He took designs from Chinese High-Speed Rail Trains, mostly because he liked how they looked.
He sketched long, armored carriages suspended slightly above reinforced rails, with the entire trains protected not only by Magic Barriers that surrounded them, but built from extremely sturdy Magic Materials and reinforced by Anti-Magic and Protection Formations.
Propulsion would be generated by directional mana turbines and the trains would be powered fully by Mana Crystals to maximize energy efficiency and power.
Underground lines branched beneath the city, while elevated tracks cut cleanly through the skyline, allowing tens of thousands to move across districts in minutes. Cargo variants followed, freight trains capable of transporting stone, food, weapons, and supplies without delay or risk.
He also made sure to maximize luxury. Unlike on Earth, with Magic, Jax would find a way to use spatial formations to increase the size of the space inside the trains, allowing for a huge amount of private rooms and luxury facilities.
He continued on his journey, designing Water Purification Systems, and even a very preliminary design of the Capital City's future roads & buildings, but the latter two were subject to change.
By the time he finished, dozens of holographic pages hovered around him and he immediately stored these pages for future use, as he now had a new problem.
All of these plans were dependent on Mana Stones, which are crystallized stones of Mana which are usually grown in Mana Mines that form naturally in places with unusually high concentration of very pure Mana.
Pretty much the entire world is powered by Mana Stones in Terra, and they were the foundation of every great Kingdom or Power, so he needed as much as possible.
Realizing this, Jax carefully shifted his weight, careful not to wake up Serika who was still sleeping peacefully against him.
He gently disentangled himself from her tails without disturbing her, and after making sure he hadn't stirred her, and went to the room's wardrobe and dressed himself in the clothes Sabrina had prepared.
It wasn't anything special, knee high boots with a brown pair of pants and a cream shirt with a long coat that immediately adapted to his size using magic.
With a final look at the sleeping fox-kin, Jax stepped out, walking down the corridors that were lit by mana Lamps, as he spotted various servants and officials bustling about, all bowing respectfully as they saw their new King.
He found Sabrina near an open antechamber, her wings folded neatly as she issued instructions to a small group of witches. They stood in a loose semicircle, staffs in hand, nodding as she spoke.
"…and have the last report on barrier stability delivered to my chambers by dawn," Sabrina finished. The witches bowed and dispersed quickly.
She turned, and immediately straightened, eyes lighting up as she noticed him.
"My King," she said warmly, placing a hand over her heart. "Is everything to your liking?"
"For now," Jax replied, falling into step beside her, "Everything is fine, I came to you as I have a question,"
Her expression sharpened at once, devotion giving way to administrative focus,"Of course."
"Mana Stones," Jax said. "Mines. How many do we control?"
Sabrina didn't hesitate, "We hold Several of them. Despite the relatively Young Age of the Demon Kingdom, our territory is still quite large, so we've obtained a noticeable amount of Major Mana Veins and hundreds of smaller veins scattered about. Most have been claimed but a-lot have been ignored,"
"Ignored?" Jax asked, brow lifting slightly, wondering why such an important resource would be ignored all together.
Sabrina, seeing her King's confusion, sighed with exasperation, "Mining is very despised by most people, especially us Demonic Races. It's very slow and dangerous but most importantly, it requires absurdly precise Earth Manipulation Magic. Crude force will damage the veins and corrupt the stones with impurities."
"To mine it effectively, you need very delicate control, for layer by layer extraction," She finally finished.
"So I'm guessing most Demons don't have that level of control?" Jax asked.
"Exactly," Sabrina nodded, "Pretty much none of the Demonic Races are attuned with Earth Magic, so we need someone exceptionally talented and determined in practice, or highly trained Witches to mine properly. Even then, many clans would rather raid, conquer, or trade than dig."
"It's why the Elves and Dwarves are the Richest Kingdoms. They are innately attuned with Nature & Earth Magic, so mining is very easy for them. For us Demons, we usually just stole from people who attacked us,"
"What about the Witches? Can't you just train them?" Jax asked, remembering that Sabrina had the Witches under the control.
"It's unfortunately not that easy. Witches are quite quirky, and more importantly, they all specialize in specific fields. There isn't a-lot of Earth Witches, and they usually take a high commission. Remember that we weren't an integrated Kingdom originally, but became this way to defend against the attacks,"
Jax nodded, and Sabrina continued, "The only reason I can lead them is with Lilith's assistance. Witches also follow Lilith, as she is the originator of their power. If you want them to send all their Earth Witches for Mining, you'll need to discuss with Willow, the Witch of the Stars. She's the Witch who trains everyone and controls them,"
"Where can I find her?" Jax asked.
"You're more powerful than me, so you should be able to sense it, there's a special dimension that drifts around the Demon Kingdom, that's where they're located," Sabrina explained.
Jax nodded and stood still, closing his eyes as he expanded his Mana Senses outward. His senses expanded outward, far beyond the basic structures around the Cathedral, and far outside the Divine Barrier, towards the other parts of the Demon Kingdom.
His Mana Senses swept through various forests, broken down towns, villages. He could sense groups of Dark Elves, Underground towns of Goblins & Trolls, and much much more.
As his senses continued to expand, Jax finally felt it, a ripple in space, a massive, floating drifting isolated space that he immediately could identify as Willow's Dimension.
"There it is," Jax muttered, and prepared to head there.
"Just be careful my King....Willow is, how do I say it....she's quite a handful despite her age, don't let her trick you," Sabrina said, and Jax nodded.
With that, Jax shifted through space, appearing on the edges of Willow's Dimension, and forcefully creating a door to the Dimension, which he entered.
