Chapter 6 - Claiming Rewards!

Seeing the results of his Lottery, Jax smiled.

Three of Nine Lotteries hitting was better luck that he was used to, and he immediately began claiming them one by one, staring with all speak.

When he claimed All-Speak, his mind was immediately flooded with linguistic knowledge. Not in a painful way, but in an expansive way.

An immense amount of linguistic knowledge engrained itself in his mind. From Ancient Demonic Script, various Divine Runes, Ancient Draconic Language, Elven Glyphs and many more all of which he could now perfectly read, write, speak & understand.

Jax immediately reached down and traced a random sigil into the obsidian ground, and the symbol responded, mana flooding it, understanding Jax's intent with that symbol as if he had spoken it.

"…That's OP as fuck, " Jax muttered, seeing the insane power he now wielded. As long as something could be understood, Jax would be able to command it.

In his case, language & knowledge would literally be power, and it would be extremely fun exploring all of those possibilities.

Next up, he claimed the Demon Emperor Combat Set, crimson and obsidian mana immediately swirling together, forming a vertical sigil that cracked open like a sealed vault.

One by one, the artifacts emerged, each of them appearing, and their names and uses appearing in Jax's mind the moment he saw them.

First was the Demonic Helmet of Sona, a sleek, black and red helmet with various glowing runes that mirrored Sona's own sigils. The Helm settled on his head, and its power immediately activated.

Jax could see mana currents flowing through space like invisible rivers. Distant floating mountains resolved into microscopic detail. Thoughts echoed faintly at the edge of his awareness.

He gained several powers from the Helm as well, accelerating his training. From Telepathy, Clairvoyance and a vast improvement in his raw magical abilities.

The Helmet also had an innate ability to help him Command and Dominate his Demon Subordinates. It was a show of status.

The next part of the Combat Set was the Charm of Demonic Magic,  a small charm anchored itself to his chest, pulsing once, and Jax could feel his mana flow becoming firmer, more regulated and the charm constantly sent out a purifying wave, which would remove various negative status effects.

Next up was the Necklace of Protection, an ocean blue necklace that settled around his neck, spreading a weird warmth spread through his core, which would improve his Defensive Magic, Nature Magic & especially improved his Healing Magic.

It also massively improved his Regeneration when he was wearing it.

"…So even killing me is going to be annoying." He muttered with a smile.

The next piece in the set was the Cloak of Oblivion, which unfurled behind him like living shadow, attaching to him.

Jax took a step forward and instead reappeared several hundred meters away without effort. The Cloak gave him assistance in using abilities such as teleportation & intangibility, and flight.

The next part of the Set was the Gauntlets of Fate, black and gold gauntlets that perfectly fit around Jax's hands, that increased his strength and spell power.

The Final Part of the Set was the Book of Sona, a heavy tome that hovered before him, opening on its own and showing endless pages, all of which had magical information.

Spells, Rituals, Mana Formations, Divine Countermeasures, Kingdom-level magic, Large Scale War Magic, and even forbidden magic that should only be used under dire circumstances.

It was a total amalgamation of Sona's Magical Knowledge, and Jax would be able to read and learn from it whenever.

Next was the Dual Cultivation Skill, which was a passive skill that allowed Jax to improve his power, and the power of those he has sex with.

Finally was Demon Sword - The Crimson Maw, which appeared in front of Jax, slamming into the ground point first.

~THOOM!~

Black metal veined with crimson pulsed like a heartbeat. The blade drank ambient mana greedily, reacting to Jax's presence as though it had been waiting its entire existence.

When he wrapped his hand around the hilt, the sword formed a soul link with him, and a hunger echoed through the Soul Bond.

The Sword would devour the Blood of everyone he kills, improving its strength.

Jax swung the sword, and a massive crimson slash flung out, slicing through the shifting mountains in the distance with venomous force.

"Jesus, that's insane," he muttered, loosening his grip on Crimson Maw, letting the blade dissolve back into demonic mana at his side. The practice domain settled, the air heavy but obedient, as if waiting for his next command.

Only two system entries remained, the skills he had received from becoming the Demon King. First was the Demonic Eyes of Sin, which he quickly accepted, causing his vision to temporarily blur.

His golden irises darkened instantly, crimson veins spreading outward as intricate black sigils bloomed within his pupils, rotating slowly like infernal constellations as the world in his eyes changed.

The world changed.

The floating mountains in the distance faded into irrelevance as people, imagined or real, seemed to exist in layers now.

Now, Jax could see the fear of others. That invisible, emotional feeling? He could see that fear like a writhing haze that clung to persons. Some fears were small and sharp. Others were vast, crushing, buried deep beneath pride, faith, or madness.

And he could manipulate that fear. He focused his eyes, and a pressure radiated out, causing the air to tremble as a wave of fear laced killing intent surged forward.

"Holy fuck, system you've really outdone yourself," Jax muttered.

[ Thank you for your Patronage, Host! ]

Jax ignored the system's sarcastic response as he cancelled the killing intent, gaining a deeper understanding of his new eyes. He could sense the deepest sins of others.

Lust, Wrath, Greed, Envy, Pride, Sloth & Gluttony. The Seven Deadly Sins, he could sense them all and amplify them in others, drowning out their rational thought.

He could implant terror, searing his presence into an enemy's instincts and his killing intent alone could shatter weaker wills without a single strike.

However, the best part of all of this is that each act aligned with the Seven Deadly Sins subtly reinforced his authority, deepened his connection to demonic law, and strengthened his very existence.

Just living his life, he'd grow stronger from sinning, from having sex, lazing around or just sleeping, it'll all boost his strength.

"Now what about you," He said, looking at the second skill he'd earned, Demonic Domination, and quickly assimilated it.

The final skill integrated without fanfare. There wasn't a surge of power or anything like that, but the practice domain responded instantly.

Mana around him bowed and shadows leaned inward. The very concept of hierarchy realigned around him.

Jax didn't need to test this one to understand it. This was law. Among demons, dark races, corrupted beings, abyssal creatures, anything born of shadow, sin, death, or chaos, his presence alone established rank.

They would feel it in their instincts. Resistance would require overwhelming power or absolute defiance of nature itself.

Lesser demons would kneel and Greater Demons would still bow to his presence, an unspoken truth whispering that Jax is greater than them in every conceivable way.

Jax exhaled slowly, rolling his neck as the implications settled in.

"Yeah," he said calmly, "Terra's not ready."

He stood alone in the infinite practice domain, fully armed and ready to begin his training. Four days to master all of these skills.

Jax's eyes gleamed faintly as he summoned Crimson Maw back into his hand.

"Let's get to work."

Jax held the weapon, it's weight felt perfect in his hand as he could immediately feel himself adapting to the weapon, finding the perfect way to grip it, the perfect stance to hold, and more.

This was due to one of his early Lottery Rewards, the [ Universal Max Talent ], that improved his talent to the maximum at literally everything, and it seems that included things like Magic and Fantasy Combat.

Jax quickly summoned the Book of Sona and began reading to learn various Magic knowledge, and sure enough, Jax could feel himself rapidly absorbing the information like a sponge. With every passing second, he was understanding more and more.

In fact, his talent was so advanced that it began to fill in the blanks in the minor information the book didn't have the time to explain, and Jax began to theorize original magic theories based on what he read from the book told him, due to his talent and magic knowledge from fantasy movies and books from both of his lives.

For instance, Jax had already theorized multiple original spells based on his knowledge from Fiction, such as Black Holes or Soul Executions.

Time was passing by quickly, and every second, Jax's body was adapting to the power, his strength was rapidly increasing and he wasn't even fighting at all, his talent was being pushed to the absolute extreme.

Jax was turning into a One Man Army!
