Leo grimaced, unable to even comprehend how many different things were happening in the vast room.
Ice... Lightning... Earth...
"AND NOW GRAVITY!?!?!" Leo screamed in confusion as Neveah used her barriers to block the meteors falling towards the three of them.
Meanwhile Griffin had just been playing the lute for the hell of it...
But Leo would be lying if he said that Griff wasn't going crazy with the beats...
Then just when he thought it couldn't get worse...
Flames soared straight towards the three of them, threatening to eat them alive the second they touched.
Neveah quickly tried to block the flames, but she was too late.
However...
Leo hadn't gotten the chance to show how far he has come yet...
So he leaped in front of her and Griff, bracing his body and summoning energy from his catalyst...
"COME ON GEMINI! SHOW ME THAT FIRE!" He screamed through the heat of the flames... The power of his roar firing through the flames with such force that it forced them to part like the sea...
"Interesting..." The feminine voice escaping Gemini's lips pondered aloud as Leo's body began to rot from the heat...
Leo; however, wore a grin of pure excitement, letting the flesh of his body rejoin and regenerate as soon as the flames halted.
"This body sure is interesting... But I wouldn't mind your affinity as well Leo of House Lion..." The possessed Gemini chuckled, reaching towards the ground with an open palm.
"Neveah! What is Gemini's affinity!?" Leo quickly yelled with the raspy voice of his molten lungs.
"I thought it was fire!?" She quickly responded, continuing to block the onslaught of meteors falling upon them.
Then his hand touched the ground before Leo could get out of the way...
Blades of metal ripped through the ground below, skewering his body in place from several sides...
'What the hell?' He thought in confusion... Unable to move from his horribly wounded body...
Neveah grit her teeth behind him, unable to bare the sight of Leo in such pain... Even though he could regenerate... He could still feel every ounce of pain that was done to him...
She grit her teeth, forcing her perception to split into two forces... One holding the barrier above...
And the other...
She charged at Gemini with her Greatsword, sliding underneath the mechanical head of a dragon that had formed in mid air out of metals from the falling meteors... Its jaw snapped shut instantly, Neveah; however, had moved faster.
Leaping above Gemini, and swinging with terrible might in a vertical arc of her giant sword...
Gemini grimaced, grabbing his warhammer... And intending to clash with the greatsword...
She braced her body, as Gemini spun, using the heavy force of his hammer to suspend his body into the air, knocking away the greatsword of Neveah with such force that her hands immediately went numb.
She leaned back, avoiding her face being smashed by the hammer with no time to spare.
She spun her body, reeling in pain as she pulled the sword in mid-air, swinging it vertically at Gemini's suspended body.
There was no way... Physics simply wouldn't allow him to swing such a heavy weapon in time to dodge...
However...
The hammer began to disintegrate... And Gemini let out a terrible laugh, as it began to rebuild itself in the path of Neveah's sword.
But from behind...
A mangled Leo boomed with laughter as he wrapped his arms around Gemini's throat, the intent to strangle him written all over his blood stained eyes.
However, the being that was in control of Gemini had somehow prepared for this...
His chestplate began to disassemble, shooting backwards and impaling straight through Leo's chest, sending him flying and piercing him into the upper section of the wall.
Neveah grimaced as her Greatsword clashed with the hammer once again, still before they could even reach the ground.
She grit her teeth...
Insanity filling her brain as the strain from multitasking began to eat her alive...
Then she pressed further, forming not only another barrier... But also a third perception...
A barrier that was pushing her body forward, forcing her into the advantage in this clash of weapons...
"Impressive..." Gemini strained out of his lips, unable to comprehend how Neveah was using such tactics in the heat of battle...
Then the hammer began to crack...
But Neveah knew she couldn't let that happen...
Her brain trembled as she willed herself to go further.
"NEVEAH DON'T!" Leo screamed in terror, trying to free himself from the metallic spikes that had pinned him against the wall.
Then several crimson barriers began to fill the air around them.
She laughed with insanity, as blood began to spill from her ears and nose...
Her body was pressed backwards, spinning the barrier behind into the front, then it spun again, another barrier forming below her...
The barriers replacing her need for balance as she willed her body forcefully to do her bidding.
She spun in a direction that should not have been possible, her sword's blunt side crashing into Gemini's side with such force this body wrinkled up before the force actually hit.
Then he was launched at the speed of sound into the wall.
Neveah's body fell as the barriers gave out.
Her body descended as Leo screamed several times in horror.
However, Griffin had thrown his lute aside, catching her in his frail arms with a slide as his magic continued to play the lute from afar.
"The show is not over yet..." He grimaced, looking down at Neveah's body stained in her own blood with worry...
Gemini's laughter echoed throughout the grand room...
The Northern wall beginning to slowly shatter...
Something was coming...
