Chapter 115 - Disloyal Disbelief

The war is truly over already. . . Titus defeated the invading army before word of it even reached us here. This mountain of equipment leaves no doubt. Yesterday, I last saw King Titus before midday. After that, he somehow received information about the invasion. Then, he went to resolve it by himself, or perhaps with assistance from the fairies. I do not think anyone noticed him as he left or returned.

King Titus must have forced the invading army to surrender with a demonstration of overwhelming power. Perhaps he disarmed them all with his magic. I see no blood on this equipment. Did he force them to surrender without killing anyone?

I heard some distant chatter coming from the people of the Kingdom's convoy, but otherwise, it was oddly quiet.

"That steel is going to rust if we leave it there." The elven blacksmith called out.

"Oh, yes." Sera said, addressing the elves around her. "Let's organize it. We should see that it doesn't go to waste."
