Thankfully, Marquess Everett was a lot less talkative after a couple more bottles of wine. Once he was visibly sleepy, I took the opportunity to slip away and go back to the sacred forest. Lisp said he had some things to do in Everett city, so I left him there. He can find his own transportation, and he can ask the Marquess if he needs anything.
It's dark out and I am frustratingly sober. I drank almost as much wine as the Marquess, but I don't feel anything. I guess I won't be getting drunk in this life. Oh well, I probably shouldn't try flying or teleporting while I'm drunk. I flew out of the city and landed in an open field. I can't see the sacred forest with my magic perception from here, so I can't teleport directly there. I'll have to teleport a few times. It's still faster than flying.
