Zero was confused that how can Acid even remember him all the times even if he takes off his eyes from him, it was strange but the answer was simple, Acid believes in Zero a lot once he just saved him and the woman he likes. He actually considers him as his true friend and even god who saved their lives from it, and so somehow, because of that, Acid was able to remember him again and again.
Acid got ready with the white uniform of the Academy. It was something strange for Zero, he didn't even look at his uniform he was in his normal, black shirt and black trousers and that was just enough for him as well. Acid was a little bit surprised that Zero wasn't in the uniform but he just smiled ignoring it and started walking to their room door and said, "Now come, let's wander and find something new in the Academy."
Zero jumped from the upside bed, confused about what new he meant by but Acid opened the door and started walking out of the room and Zero followed him. They both just get out and Acid locked the door and they both started walking in the empty hallways.
It was 6 a.m. and the sun was just rising on the sky, the sky looked a little orange as the sun was rising up on the sky. The hallways were empty and Acid looked around and said, "I guess... I woke up early today. When did you wake up, Zero?"
It was a wrong question, the right question would be...when did he even sleep. Zero looked up at the ceiling and replied, "I didn't sleep, I came here at midnight and then after getting the room, I just took a cold bath and after that I couldn't sleep, usually at night I am awake."
Acid started sweating, "...So you sleep at day?"
Zero looked at Acid and nodded, "Most of the time, I had a night shift and at day I would sleep. But if it's not work day, I may sleep at night...but at this place, I didn't feel of sleepiness. I was feeling something awkward, maybe because it's not my home where I was living from years."
Acid smiled, "Night shift makes sense, and it's obvious you will feel awkward here, but you will adjust with it--"
But suddenly a thought came in Acid's mind, he smiled with a sweat, looked at Zero and asked, "Where's your Alpha?"
"She also came here and Leader took her to her room. Maybe she would be sleeping with Kin?"
Acid pointed at Zero and asked, "...Are you missing Alpha? She used to sleep with you?"
Zero thought for a second with surprises on his face, "...Missing her...? Maybe, it felt weird when I looked at her leaving and she turned back, looking at me. And I used to sleep on the floor at the bedroom while she used to sleep with Kin on the bed."
Acid smiled and patted on Zero's shoulder and with happiness he was finally able to say, "So you are finally falling for her, even if slowly, it's still a great phase. I am sure one day you will give me the wedding invitation card."
But Zero was too innocent, he doesn't knows whose wedding invitation will he give to Acid. This is the side effect of always focusing on responsibilities and work and don't care about surroundings and other things like relationships. Acid understood Zero's confused face and just sighed, he was hoping that Zero would blush but even if he asks from him why he didn't, Zero will answer what's even the need, or maybe he doesn't even understands what blushing means. Acid can't help about it but just say, "You are so innocent, you wouldn't even know simple things which are common and even innocent people would know about it...but I believe Alpha will definitely teach you that somehow one day or another."
Suddenly Acid saw someone at the cross hallways, and it was his friends who were walking somewhere. Acid smiled and he started running away and just waved his hand and said, "I have to go somewhere, Zero. See you later."
Zero waved his hand with no reaction on his face and Acid disappeared. But now the hallway was completely empty and Zero all alone, he could remember the path back to his room but what he will even do there? He also started walking, exploring the area.
Alpha was exhausted, sitting on a bench at the garden of the Academy and just being bored. Suddenly someone sat at the corner, sticking to the corner, and Alpha was just going to leave... but the way of giving space already looked familiar, she smelled and with a shock looked next to her and Zero was sitting next to her and looking up at the sky...and he turned his face towards Alpha.
Alpha smiled and said, "Good morning, Zero."
They were still on their usual routine, greeting at home although it wasn't home. Zero smiled and said, "Good morning Alpha, how are you?"
Alpha smiled with a sweat, "Sleepy, we both didn't go out and I couldn't sleep properly either."
"I also couldn't sleep, anyways, did you get any roommate?"
Alpha looked down with a decent smile and replied, "Yeah, there was your Leader and one more girl... she can't forget me, she says that I am the girl to whom you drew."
Zero started sweating, "...The woman at the shop where I worked?"
And Alpha nodded her head and Zero started sweating more, "...The man who was at the reception with me and the woman...he was my roommate, and he can't forget me either. I didn't wear the mask but he can still remember me, even if he takes off his eyes from me or leaves...are they the exception?"
Alpha was surprised but she just laughed gently and said, "So we both are on the same situation and the same track...? It now looks funny."
