Zero came to the new house, the gate opened and Zero was just looking everywhere and observing the place with a little bit of curiosity. It was luxurious but nothing for him, he just ignored and looked ahead. The location Screen disappeared from Zero's eyes and he was left standing in front of a gate. He knocked at the door and called, "This Sacreficer...this is only the Main Hall, right?"
The gate opened and it was a discussion hall. Everyone were on a chair in front of a big table and they all looked at Zero and he started sweating...he didn't understand why everyone are staring him, he thought that he definitely did something wrong..."Was the monster supposed to be left alive?"
But no one understood what he meant to say. Zero walked in and the door closes and Zero stopped and remain standing in front of the long table.
Rem looked at Zero seriously and asked, "You could save Alpha, right? But you let the situation to be worse?"
Zero looked down and accepted his fault... although he would have needed to take out his wings and reflect back the winds and he hesitated to bring his wings and then it was already too late.
"I am sorry for that...I know I could...but I can't. I apologise for that." Zero admitted... and Rem sighed and she was now feeling guilty. She realized that she shouldn't have asked for that. Zero at least send Alpha quickly.
"Ok, that's fine."
Rehi looked at Zero then and he was now a little bit curious about something and he asked, "By the way, Sacreficer...what were you doing from last two days? You were also leaving the house but you were not joining anyone? Where were you all that time?"
And Delta was also curious of that because she expected that Zero got canvas by going out only or something.
Zero smiled and answered straight, "I was doing a job at a shop from yesterday and this was the second day. But I even lost it once the world ended, the shop would be closed now as much I know, after all the destruction and everyone's death there."
Everyone was surprised, Zero was starving for a job so much that he just became a shopkeeper to fulfill his hunger? Eclipse and Delta smiled and looked away.
Rehi and Zeta were a little bit surprised that Zero got a job for that. But it wasn't surprising for Eta, Beta and Epsilon because they know Zero very well how much he dedicate for a job and everything. He just wants responsibility and nothing else, to just fulfill his time.
Zero also added, "And, at the shop only, Alpha and Kin arrived for shopping, and there only the chaos happened."
"Oh~" Now this was surprising for them. Eta got a question and asked, "What did they both buy?"
And Zero showed the bag...he had even brought the paper bag in which Acid had given the stuff Alpha brought.
"It were just chocolate and candies, for both, Alpha and Kin." Zero said and kept the bag on the table...
And Kin started smelling them...and she finally opened her eyes and woke up. She started rubbing her eyes and looked around and Alpha was asleep on the bed next to Kin.
And they started sweating, "...They just wanted chocolate and candies? They never said that they want that."
For a minute, silence covered the hall. Rehi thought for a while...and there was now nothing else left.
"Well then, there's nothing else to discuss about. Sacreficer, send me the location of the shop, there would be monsters--"
"I killed them all."
And everyone started sweating...Rehi looked at Zero then asked, "So, you killed them all? We will at least have blood then, and by blood we will try to recognise what type of monster it is and what grade it is."
Zero had no idea what does grade even means. But he had no problem and he just send the location...but suddenly the biggest question came in his mind.
"By the way..." Zero looked down and with curiosity asked, "...what are these monsters? I had never seen them before unless it was to save Alpha the first time I did. Any context about them?"
Everyone started sweating, they didn't know how they would explain that but he had asked it from Rem once more so it was important to tell him as well in Rem's view. Rem looked up at the ceilings and she answered...
"Monsters are just beasts and creatures, which are just the evolved form of other animals. Like there was once a giant centipede, it was just a small centipede who got the power once The Monster Queen arrived. They are way too strong and hard to eliminate if you don't have a powerful sword or magic and it also depends on the height of them and strength of them."
Alpha was hearing everything while also patting on the happy Kin and Versil was sitting next to her.
Zero looked at them and asked something strange, "And we have to kill them as well?"
But everyone smiled. Eta nodded her head and said, "If you want humans to stay alive, then it's important and if you just wants to watch and die by them, not so much important."
"So like Parasites? But I am not going to follow the orders and I will just kill them, I was really angry when I could kill them but the command was rejected always."
And everyone looked at Rehi and he started sweating... actually, they were also a little bit angry whenever he denied to kill the Parasite.
"... It's your wish then...you all can kill and break my orders. No problem." Rehi said and everyone started sweating, but Zero looked relieved by it.
Alpha was just listening everything...and she had decided something now. She stood, hold Versil and with Kin she started walking somewhere.
Epsilon smiled, looking at Zero and said, "Now you can go, thanks for the answers."
Zero smiled, bowed down and turned--
But suddenly Alpha hold Zero's wrist and mumbled, "Let's go now."
