But there was no body.
No sign of her at all.
"We need to expand the search further," Tang Yuze said, his voice tight with frustration. "Comb the entire coast. We move to the other side...."
Jin Boyuan looked at him from where he stood near the rail. "Tang Yuze. It's getting dark."
"I don't care if it's getting dark!" The words came out sharper than Tang Yuze intended. He breathed and forced himself to speak more evenly. "We use flashlights. Spotlights. Whatever we need. We don't stop."
"The divers....."
"The divers keep diving." Tang Yuze turned to face him fully. "We don't stop. Not yet."
Jin Boyuan held his gaze for a long moment.
Then he nodded once.
"Get the spotlights," he said to the coast guard captain. "And radio the other boats. We're continuing the search."
