The Underworld was nothing like the Earth they knew.
Its landscape stretched endlessly toward the horizon, an endless sea of crimson sand beneath a blood-red sky. A strange yellow sun hung high above, bathing the land in an eerie glow. Yet despite its brightness, it gave off not a single ounce of heat.
It simply hung there, like an artificial light left burning for eternity.
Whether it was day or night, the yellow sun never disappeared. Its pale radiance mixed with the crimson sky, casting the entire Underworld in an unsettling hue. Even the ground seemed to mirror the heavens, its red sand resembling the barren surface of Mars.
Everything looked as though it belonged to a world waiting for doomsday.
The air was even worse.
It was unnaturally dense, so thick that an ordinary human would struggle to draw a single breath. Each inhale felt like trying to breathe through something solid, the windpipe slowly choking beneath the oppressive atmosphere.
