Quit hogging me

My transition back to work had gone smoother than I thought it would be. Well, as smooth as everything could get after all the events that had transpired. The moment I had set foot into the building, all eyes we're on me.
Although no one asking, I could tell they were extremely curious, especially about the events that led to the sudden dismissal of Mrs. Olga, our former boss.
However, no one brought it up since the higher ups had made it quite clear that there would be heavy consequences if anyone did. And so, thankfully, after all that, I quickly and smoothly transitioned back to my old work atmosphere.
Apparently, from what Olga had filled me in, word had somehow gotten out that there had been assaulted for the second time. Even though I had gained much sympathy from my coworkers, it still hadn't failed to raise their curiosity about me.
Naturally, it had.
